Visited Coco's on a weekend night in June.
Disdainful hostess (we did have reservations) seated us at a window table, where we sat for 30 minutes with menus. Gave us plenty of time to enjoy the hip decor, and to realize that the floor to ceiling windows face only a Lutheran Church and a parking lot, no view of Fowler lake from anywhere inside the restaurant.
Laughably incompetent waitress (like, sitcom bad) didn't know the specials and couldn't pronounce items on the menu. The food arrived after she served my 14 year old daughter a glass of wine: crab cakes, sirloin bites and tuna tartare all well prepared, well plated, and tasty, although lacking any innovation or new flavors. Steaks ordered medium rare arrived just a shade under well done, fish dish and vegetarian dish were well prepared and well plated, but obviously had been sitting much too long before being served.
If service improves, I'd give this place 3-4 stars, could be a good neighborhood standby for steaks & fish, but don't expect anything innovative.

Crab cakes were mushy and needed seasoning. Baked potato cold and hard and one drink was wrong. First time there so not sure if typical.

Portions were small and the food was generally uninspiring

Coco's was good - definitely not great. I'd recommend trying it out for the ambiance, but there are other GREAT steak/seafood places in the area. Our service was just okay, food was a little salty and bland. Had a great Cheese Plate appetizer that saved the experience.

This was the second time that we have eaten at Coco's. The interior is modern and pleasing with boardwalk and Fowler Lake views. Their signature drink menu is so good, we have tried the margarita, the old fashioned and the cucumber cooler, all of the delicious.
The first time there we both has seafood, my husband the pecan crusted grouper and I the snapper, both were delicious! The second time he had the 10 oz. center cut filet and I had the grouper, again a win!
The dessert portions are small but delicious!
We would recommend Coco's to friends and family :)

Amazing meal. One of the best we have had in Lake Country, if not the best. Service was excellent, and the food was incredible. The chef had PM'd with my wife earlier in the week and offered a free desert (It was her birthday). We enjoyed that as well. We both highly recommend for a great meal.

First time at Coco's and definitely not our last, The service and the food were spectacular. My steak was one of the best I have ever had, my wife's Hogfish was excellent, service was great. A great bar for an after dinner drink with a very knowledgeable staff.

We had the Big Bang Shrimp for an appetizer an it was wonderful!
I had the grouper and my wife had the scallops and both were delicious!!
The entire staff was friendly and helpful!!

Very nice restaurant with a wonderful staff. Our meal was delicious. I highly recommend the seafood chowder.

Coco’s Seafood & Steakhouse in Oconomowoc was outstanding last night. Finally somewhere a little fancier to dine or celebrate in our revitalized little town!!! The crisp white tablecloths & chic decor set the stage for a great evening. Our server was delightful, friendly & happy. The wine & cocktails were perfect...I had a glass of Rosé (if they had splits of champagne I would have loved that too) and my husband had an Old Fashioned. Our appetizers (Bang Bang Shrimp, Crab Cakes & a Burrata Salad) were spectacular...I wish I had taken pictures! My small Oscar Style filet was delicious, perfectly cooked. And the Key Lime pie was scrumptious. Thank you Coco’s for such a lovely dinner!

Excellent seafood. Drove an hour to get to the restaurant.

It was supposed to be a date but it ended up being a party of one after being dumped last minute. The food was great and the bartender bought my drink. I’ll be back, even by myself again. :)

Coco’s is great! The food is elevated classic and very delicious. I was happy to see a garden burger on the menu and several good seafood options. My husband loved his NY strip. The wine list is sophisticated but also has affordable familiar glasses. The service is exceptional. Decor is modern casual, sleek but still warm—you can go for a special occasion but also any night of the week. We loved our evening there and are so glad to have Coco’s in our Oconomowoc neighborhood.

The dining experience at Coco’s was excellent. The before dinner drinks were made well, the appetizers were of excellent portion and flavor as well as the entrees. Our steaks were seasoned well and done to our request. We order a the lemon mousse for dessert and was just delicious and light. All of the dishes were very fresh tasting. I cannot wait to dine there again soon.

The employees were passionate about the restaurant and the chef was amazing!!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish! We had fantastic food/drinks, the service was great from hostess, bartenders, managers, and chef, and the staff really engaged with us to make it a fun experience! Did we mention the food was great?!!! Tons of fun flavors and the strawberry rhubarb crumble reminded us of our grandmothers wonderful baking in years past. What a great way to finish our dinner! Thank you!

Service was great. Cocktails, crab cakes and bread were delicious. Side portions were small and for the price for the steaks, unimpressed with execution and quality of the meat. Nice to see a place with such potential in Oconomowoc but I think if we’re going to spend that kind of money on a nice steak dinner we’ll be going to one of the old school staples in the area.

Definitely willing to try again with the non-steak menu, though.

Amazing new restaurant in Oconomowoc! My husband and I are self proclaimed foodies and we were wowed! Decor is beautiful and comfortable. We shared the tuna tartare and beet salad- both were fabulous. I had the scallops and my husband had NY strip. Scallops were perfectly caramelized and great flavor. I got the only bite of steak that had gristle and fat(the only negative about the whole experience). Pricing is fair considering the quality. Good wine list. We will be back-can’t wait!

We had a table of 4, and everyone loved their food. Waitstaff was great, as well. Very clean with lots of social distancing. We will go back!

Great new spot downtown Oconomowoc. Will definately be back. Very comfortable and the food and service were great. The service staff really seemed to work together. Very clean place as well, get out and try this.

This my first dinner out with my wife in weeks. My wife was slightly nervous about venturing out but this experience put her at ease. The restaurant did a great job of putting safeguards in place to make you feel safe without feeling like a burden. All of the staff was very welcoming. The food was fantastic. We had the crabcakes, and I had the dry aged cowboy eibeye. Dessert was rhubarb crunch and flourless chocolate cake. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. Will return

This was our first visit. We just moved here from out of town. We truly enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the service.

I would highly recommend going to Coco's and enjoy Oconomowoc...

Service still spotty waited for before dinner drinks due to bartender cleaning a filter never got wine with our dinner because the bar was backlogged making old fashioned s.Food howeverwas excellent.Will return when they have worked out the new restaurant bugs

We were so excited to try this new restaurant out! The staff, food & experience was phenomenal! We had Jason as our server & he was knowledgeable on every dish & drink. His recommendations were spot on. The food was so great & left us full. We started with the cheese curds (which were awesome!) & we had the burger & grouper. All of it was yummy! We are excited to see this new restaurant do well in Oconomowoc!

Finally a five-star restaurant in lake country! We walked around Fowler Lake, enjoyed dinner and fine wine, and watched the sunset there. A lovely experience!

Great food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. All sounds cliche’, but it’s all true! The porterhouses and Demi are outstanding!!

This CoCo's restaurant was well thought out, well staffed with quality people, managed by a talented general manager and the owner cares about quality. It shows right down to the bathrooms. The steaks and seafood taste exceptional, far beyond the flavor of others. Even chicken tastes better than any I've had anywhere. It's clean, it's beautiful, it's comfortable and you're treated like you matter. I must go back for more.

What a great location! This restaurant has clean, modern lines, good lighting, large wine selection and diverse menu. We truly enjoyed our visit.
