Hand-crafted cocktails and wine choices are excellent and tasty! The meal was delicious but portion could have been bigger, however, they do bring warm bread and soft butter which was phenomenal!

We have visited Coco's on two occasions in the past year, one lunch and one dinner outing. Coco's is a 40 mile drive (one way) for us and worth every mile of the drive! We have enjoyed both lunch and dinner. It has a sophisticated and formal appearance but a warm and friendly atmosphere. The menu is not overwhelming yet there is something for everyone. This past dinner outing, we were a party of six and we all ordered something different. Everyone was quite happy with their choice. As good as the entry was, I think I could have eaten only appetizers! They were absolutely delicious. Karen and Michael are the owners and some of the nicest, down to earth people you will ever meet! I may sound a bit bias but I am not. It truly was a delight! We plan to make the trip on a monthly basis.

The short ribs were fall off the bone, melt in your mouth tender an delicious. Don't let the sauerkraut sway you. It was a small amount and caramelized. I prefer a little more tang but it was good. The duck that my husband ate was also excellent. The server (Jason) was friendly, attentive and helpful. Portion sizes were more than enough.

The menu found on Open Table is not accurate. I was told it is about 3 years old and despite the restaurant's attempts to correct it, it is still inaccurate. It almost influenced me to not go to Coco's that evening. Glad I still went because the menu they had was very much to my liking and we had a perfect meal.

I put a note in the reservation that it was my husband’s 60th birthday but not a mention of it when we arrived or anything special. The bucatini with fried eggplant was very good. The pork chop was way undercooked. We should have sent it back but didn’t. The espresso creme brûlée was excellent. Place has a different vibe.

We were first shown to a dimly lighted table, but due to a vision impairment we asked for, and were immediately seated at, a table with better lighting. Our server was outstanding. He made sure at all times that we had what we wanted, kept our water glasses full, but did not hover. We especially appreciated the complementary chocolate ganache he offered as a "birthday cake." I think his name was Stephen; he is to be commended.

Monday night dinner for 3 was a treat... there were only 6 other tables, so the noise level was low and the service was high. The honey & spice hummus appetizer was fantastic.. 1 bottle of wine + 1 app + 3 entrees + tip = $135.00

I grew up in the Dayton area and was in town for a visit from Los Angeles. I think supporting local businesses is important so I was excited to try a family owned fine dining restaurant. Service was great and super attentive no complaints there whatsoever. For a white tablecloth establishment I wasn’t expecting our waiter to look so casual wearing jeans and a black Coco’s t shirt but it was a slow night and he was super attentive so I can let that slide. Wardrobe is the first thing a customer sees and makes an impression so perhaps they may want to swap out jeans for black pants. On to the food, the first thing I noticed is that the appetizers were grossly overpriced. We ordered the lobster fritters which I was excited to try. What arrived at the table was 5 deep fried balls which was essentially a hush puppy with not a hint of lobster and this was priced at $18! I can only comment on two apps as that is what we ordered but the app prices are basically what one would pay for an entree at comparable establishments in the area. There were four of us dining and two of us got the duck. The duck itself tasted great it’s the other things thrown on the plate (risotto and baked apples) that seemed like an after thought for a $31 entree. Coco’s is charging premium prices for entrees and appetizers and the food quality simply doesn’t match. I don’t care if I’m dining in Dayton, NYC or Los Angeles I think one expects a certain level of quality, thoughtfulness and overall experience with food at those price points. Someone really needs to rethink the menu and rework the price structure. The food cost on that hush puppy appetizer is astronomical for what you get. If you called it a hush puppy and charged $5-7 for it my expectations would have been managed accordingly. Instead you call it a lobster fritter and charge $18, give your customers some credit. Not my intention to bash Coco’s, just an honest opinion and hoping it makes management take a fresh look at things.

Food was amazing! Service was great even on a busy New Year’s Eve. Our server was there when we needed her, but kept her distance so we could enjoy our dinner. It is a little pricey but very worth it.

This is always great meal. Server was very pleasant but was very rushed and service was delayed as a result and no pleasantries exchanged—not her fault. I’ve eaten there in the past for NY Eve with excellent service so not sure whether they were short staff this year or not. But—we were not in a hurry so did not create a problem.

Coco’s is one of my favorite got to places when I want to impress someone or me friends for dinner at some place more than a sports bar. It is reasonably priced for an upscale place but not overly priced that makes out of range for people who are not doctors and lawyers. This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Dayton for years, even when it was on fifth street. You can’t go wrong in choosing Coco’s. You won’t be disappointed.

Had the red trout. Size of the filet was very small (about 3-3.5 oz) and I prefer smaller portions, though not THAT small. Had the same issue last time I ate at Cocos (different type of filet, but even smaller). It was prepared perfectly, except for the portion size. I felt disappointed to have paid $30 and not receive a good value for my meal. Since this was the second time this has occurred, I won't be ordering any further fish filets. The salad was excellent. My wife had a pork chop. Ironically, it was so large, she could not finish it. I tasted her chop and it too was prepared perfectly. Service was good. Our dinner mates raved about their meals (pork chop and short ribs). I would love to go back and try other seafood, but I'm not willing to get short-changed again on the portion.

We arrived a few minutes late, but still sat us even though the restaurant was extremely busy.
I had the pork chop, it was tender and delicious. My husband had the chicken Marsala which he also enjoyed. Thursday nights the restaurant offers half off all their bottles of wine, which made for an even nicer meal.

Very nice restaurant. I often take out of town guests here. Local, nice atmosphere, and I've always had a good experience. Menu is a little limited for main dishes, but with sandwiches, pizza, big entree salads there is a good variety.

Service was excellent. Glad we made a reservation with all the Christmas parties going on. Our waiter was friendly, outgoing and a great conversationalist. Had good recommendations for drink and food. Our food was hot and served in a timely manner. The Hummus appetizer was outstanding, had never had it with the chili seeds and honey before, could have had another plate. The Red Trout was excellent with it’s accompanying pancake. Everyone enjoyed their dinners: pasta, Pho, and Shrimp dish.
Our first time, it had been recommended by several workmates. They were right on the spot, Wonderful evening!

The "gourmet" grilled cheese sandwhich with tomato bisque is downright yummy.
Ashley, our server, was attentive but not intrusive.
The fried spinach is to die for.
And, the fragrance of the blueberry tea was intoxicating.
