Delightful dinner with friends
My favorite summer patio in town! Lovely setting, great service and the best food!
Food was prepared well, however our waiter did not wear a mask.
Lovely! Great service. Nice atmosphere. Delicious food.
I was able to make same-day reservations. The weather was perfect for outside dining and there was a table available. Our server had the perfect amount of time spent with us. The food was delicious however the portions a little bit small. We will order an appetizer next time to fill us up. Thanks for a great evening.
Every meal was delicious and the Old Fashions are always the best ever.
This upscale restaurant has excellent food and service. They had unique drink choices that fit all of our needs.
Wonderful service, competent bar output, great menu, nice ambience, and out favorite table up front by the windows.
Great food and atmosphere
Unusual menu items
Keep an open mind
A thank you dinner for my parents who have helped us a lot this summer.
Food was excellent. Ate out on the patio which was delightful and much more relaxing than the bustling main dining room . Highly recommend the patio.
Unfortunately, the "Spring/Summer Menu" has very few choices for salads, appetizers, entrees and even beverages, as compared to the Fall menu.
Had a great meal and a wonderful time, but will not go back until the fall or winter.
Best restaurant in Dayton! A very special place for us!
For the prices they need to be “wowing” the diner.
Food was ok.
Amahzing plus got some sexi instas
Highly recommend everything on the menu. Diner has a nice ambiance to it also. The whole entire experience is recommended honestly.
We haven’t been to Coco’s since pre-plague days. Very glad we made a visit. Excellent service and meal. We chose the pork chop and salmon frites. Perfect choices. Ended the meal with their S’mores Torte. Solid…not great. Atmosphere inside was elegant and quiet. A little cool temperature-wise, but certainly tolerable. Overall a terrific experience. We also felt totally safe. Thanks!
First impression is good. We ordered the deep fried Brie and it was rich with flavor. However after that everything went downhill. I had the strip steak it was overcooked. I asked for medium rare and it came medium well. It was grayish in appearance and lacked flavor. My date had the special which was a corn chowder w/seafood(which was hard to find) it was also heavy handed on the pepper. We did order dessert and the strawberry jam cake was dry. Overall way to overpriced and will not be returning.
When we arrived for a 6:00 reservation early, we went to the bar for a cocktail. We were then seated in the bar. I should have spoken up but I think I believed it to be a given. That we'd dine in the dining room.
Classy, clean, white-linen vibe with a nice outdoor patio available as well. Table candles would be a nice touch but otherwise pleasing. Food is on the pricier side but fair for fresh, herbaceous dishes like the curry rice and falafel. The salmon in the salmon frites dish was melt-in-your-mouth, but I feel it deserves a nice vegetable along with the frites. The mahi tostadas needed a little more flair with maybe a crème sauce in addition to lightly blackening the fish; it was a fun dish but a little overpriced for two small tostadas and a scoop of corn dip. The panko crusted Brie appetizer was perfect; loved the oil drizzle on the baguette slices and tomato basil compote. The shrimp cocktail with lemon curd horseradish dip was fresh and vibrant. The s’mores tart dessert lacked a better mouth feel— the chocolate was not smooth (maybe the dish needed warmed more) and the marshmallow on top was gelatinous; the layers didn’t blend well together. Our server was friendly and attentive as well as mannered. Overall a nice experience but a little pricey for some needed tweaks.
Blackened salmon was delicious.
I love every visit. Always a pleasure to eat here.
We were placed at a table outside with a covered patio which was nice until we looked up and there was an active bird nest just above our head with straw hanging down from a speaker.
The food was terrific. Our table sampled items from all over the menu, including cocktails, appetizers, salad, entrées, and dessert. Everything was terrific.
Our waiter was not good. He seemed annoyed with questions about the menu items and when we were trying to make a decision. He constantly wanted to take our plates when it was clear we were not done eating. We had not been there in years and won't be going back. Plus the prices on some menu items were stupid! $25 for spaghetti (1 cup) and 4 little meatballs. Seriously?
The food is always expertly prepared and tastes so very good! Service is personable, responsive, and consistently great. Great for lunch or dinner!
The baked Brie was wonderful. The special was coconut shrimp and battered fried French fries. The food was delicious but a bit heavy - other choices would have been lighter. The restaurant was bright and airy with a clean design. Overall a great date and delicious meal.
Wonderful! Always great quality food. The new small water glasses need to go - too small!
Food was yummy, service was great. What more could one want in dinner out?
Truly enjoyed my dining experience. The burger is very good.
Absolutely fantastic….drinks, exquisite food. Our new favorite!!
Perfect Birthday dinner! The staff was so accommodating and attentive. Thank you for the complimentary panna cotta!
Took my husband for Fathers Day. Always, looking for a good burger, he ordered one w/ Boursin cheese and a challah bun..He loved loved it! My salmon was flavorful, really liked the cilantro aioli. Our waitress was great, didn’t keep interrupting our conversation but was still attentive, and very pleasant. Ambiance is always great, clean and chic, bathrooms clean. Service always supersedes expectation. Can’t wait to return for the pork chop!
Karen and all the Cocos staff always warm and welcoming. Service excellent , atmosphere wonderful and food outstanding. Will keep going back!
Written on the lower right corner of the menu was an offer of Organizations to Learn About and Support Through Donation. The first listing was Columbus Community Pride (we're in Dayton) which, included in the short paragraph explaining its beliefs, gave the following: "It [CCP] arose from the need to reject police from our spaces because we know well how the police seek to punish and destroy people like us." We left a five-dollar bill on the table and went to another restaurant. We couldn't patronize an establishment that openly decries the efforts of police in our communities to help people, whether they be people of color, people of different belief systems, or people who are LGBTQ+. This is another form of hate speech, one worn on another sleeve. Bigotry takes many forms, and one might assume from Columbus Community Pride's credo that "Love is Love" apparently doesn't apply to police officers. We were sad since Coco's was a go-to choice for us pre-pandemic. The food and experience were always top drawer, but we're done until there is a public apology to the thin blue line from Coco's ownership.
Excellent. Definitely recommend.
Portions are a little on the small side but the quality was spot on.
In town for the half marathon with a friend. Enjoyed our dinner here the night before the race.
The food and atmosphere were very good, though our server could have a bit more attentive. Overall a very nice experience!
We dined on a Wednesday evening and were sadly disappointed with our experience. The atmosphere felt sterile and artificial. The food was good, but not excellent. It was loud enough that it was difficult to have a conversation with my husband without speaking loudly. I noted in my reservation AND during a phone call that evening that we were celebrating a birthday for my husband and was assured there would be some acknowledgement of it (didn't specify what, which was fine) yet nothing said or done during or after dinner. Overall I'd give a "C" grade. Completely unimpressed
All of us enjoyed our Coco's experience last night. We especially liked our table which was back in the corner so it was very quiet and easy to talk with each other.
Our server brittney was phenomenal she was very attentive and even though they didn’t have the dish I wanted offered another dish that was great! One of the best dining experiences I’ve personally had!
