Never disappoints , Best Italian in the STATE!!!!
The wine list, the Branzino, i could go on and on.
I always enjoy going to Coco Pazzo. The staff is efficient and informed about the specials and recommendations and the wine selection is very good.
Coco Pazzo continues to delight. Even on a busy Saturday night, the room was conversation friendly. Service is attentive without being intrusive; food is consistently good and well prepared, menu items are dependable and vary with the season. It’s a neighborhood spot for us, and once again, we are reminded we just don’t get here often enough. BTW, prices are reasonable. We had salads and entrees, with wine, bill for two couples was about $125 including tip. For this kind of food and service in a comfortable, warm atmosphere, that’s a bargain.
I've only been to Coco Pazzo once before and had a great experience. The food was fabulous and the staff very focused on our experience. However, I was just there this past weekend with two friends from out of town who had never been and we seemed to not have the same great experience. Our waitress was very nice, but we found that we couldn't find her when we needed something. She took our order, but never came back to offer bread, we had to wave down another waiter to ask for it, the same with cheese for our meal. We wanted to order a second round of drinks but by time she came back around, we were done with our meal and ready to leave. This won't keep me from going back, but I just wasn't as happy with the service.
Coco Pazzo never disappoints. When I heard that the restaurant is celebrating its 25th anniversary, I did a mental countdown and realized I have been eating here since the early days. It was delightful then and even more so now. The food is wonderful, but the outstanding feature for me is that it is possible to have a conversation. Our server was just super. I made the reservation for co-workers coming in from out of town. They were thrilled with the food and the service. Here's to another 25 years!
It has been our favorite Chicago restaurant for many years.
This was my first trip to this restaurant - hopefully it won't be my last. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Great environment and not overly noisy in spite of the crowd.
Third time there in 2 yrs (live in Massachusetts). Chose it purposely after the first time. Good location. Great food, excellent service.
Entrees were slow to arrive. That can happen in a busy restaurant, but there was no acknowledgement while we waited or apology. This took away from what otherwise was a great dinner.
Great dinner with friends. Excellent service and food presentation. Wonderful experience.
Love the people We come here often. Good table. Elegant place.
Authentic Italian dining experience. Elegant setting. Excellent service, which included a visit by the owner. Delicious food.
Fifteenth time at Coco Pazzo - always the best Italian in Chicago!
This restaurant needs to get some training for all the staff...I would not recommend.....
Server was excellent. Food was great.
Great atmosphere, amazing service, delicious food!
Love Coco Pazzo -- always the finest ingredients and just superb. Beautiful space too
Excellent food. We weren’t sure about what we wanted to drink when the waiter asked us so he said he’d give us a minute. He gave us more time than we needed. Other than that, service was very prompt in every way.
Food is always good. Our server Wayne was not cordial or warm during the entire process. The table was next to the wait silverware section which was annoying . Our chair was nudged every time. Other seating will be asked for in the future .
Went for an early dinner before seeing a show. The service was efficient, but not rushed. Our dinners were perfect - served hot and delicious. The focaccia bread was soft and flavorful. The servers were attentive but yet, let us have our privacy. By the time we were ready to go, the tables were full and the restaurant was quite lively. Definitely will return in the near future.
I've been dining here for over 20 years -- client lunches, special occasion dinners, ladies' luncheons, family get togethers. Coco Pazzo never disappoints!
Best Italian food I’ve ever had and great service. You must try the mushroom and prosciutto pizza.
Never been disappointed, food is always great and service is always great.
The wine list is great and prices are reasonable.
Still after over 25 years on dining there Coco Pazzo still one of the best restaurant in Chicago,
if you wanna little more of a casual Dining Coco Pazzo Cafe’ is as good as Coco Pazzo.
Wonderful food, service and ambiance. We will be back.
All was great here. Only issue was that the cabernet bottle that we ordered stated on the menu that it was 2013 but when it came out it was a 2015 bottle. It tasted fine but menu may need to be adjusted.
I hadn't been to Coco Pazzo in years but a friend staying at Mart Plaza asked what's a great spot to meet and we met here. She's married to an Italian and was blown away by the food. We found a wine we liked, unfortunately it was really expensive so we ended up spending a lot on our meal and wine, more than we wanted to. That said, the food was great. Rigatoni with fennel sausage is to die for. My lamb shank with polenta was perfection. A side of steamed spinach and that's an incredible meal. Highly recommended even though our server got very busy with a late night crowd. We didn't mind because we got to sit and chat at length in a wonderfully charming space.
Delightful setting with terrific food.
Consistently some of the best Italian food in the City. Everything on the menu worth a try and always excellent specials.
Coco Pazzo is delicious! My picky daughter agrees as well! We had the gnochetti and the ravioli along with a salad. Perfect!
My wife and I got a last-minute reservation to have dinner before a concert at the United Center. We were able to split an entree, and get in and out in 45-minutes. I really wanted to have dessert, but we didn't have time. I'm looking forward to going back.
Just always great quality cuisine, wonderful specials and professional, cheery service.
Birthday for my mom. Very good experience.
Good food, nice atmosphere, our waitress was not extremely friendly or helpful. But overall experience was good.
Birthday for my wife
This is absolutely one of my favorite Chicago restaurants; consistently great food with interesting menu items and exceptional service! The wine list is fabulous!
We were returning diners to Coco Pazzo, we usually love it.
I’m convinced you cannot get better, more attentive service anywhere.
This dinner was such a disappointment.
The Friday menu had only sea bass as the fish selection (during Lent).
The vegetarian lasagna was well presented but bland to a fault.
The meat ravioli portion was so small we had to order a second portion for our guest....and were charged the full price.
We were entertaining out of town guests.....and were very embarrassed.
I know what Coco Pazzo is capable of, and this dinner didn’t even come close.
I hadn't been to Coc Pazzo in a while and it was just as good as I remembered it. My son and husband had pasta dishes; I had veal. All were very good.
A delightful meal at Coco Pazzo started with tantalizing smoked salmon carpaccio and the best grilled octopus I have ever had. Our table wanted to try many dishes and we shared an authentic Tuscan risotto, house made pasta with fresh tuna and fresh vegetables and a delicious baked eggplant. We finished with lamb shank and a perfectly cooked bistek fiorentina- carved table side! Service was impeccable as always- and lovely wines that matched perfectly. A Chicago gem- classic, delicious pure Italian food in an elegant room. Outstanding staff!
Great food. We shared three courses then had our own desserts. Their version of a cassata was a great ending to a memorable meal.
