As always wonderful food and service at Coco Pazzo!
Birthday/ Friends Get together
We were more than excited to celebrate a loved one’s birthday at Coco Pazzo. We had been there in the past and were so excited when Open Table showed there was a place for us precisely when we needed it.
We had our hearts set on delicious Italian food and that is precisely what we received!! The Host was extremely professional and greeted us warmly. We were given a beautiful corner table and the food was FABULOUS!!!!
Excellent in all ways
The service was top notch. Our glasses never reached below halfway before being refilled and our plates were cleared off the table soon after we finished each course.
Everyone was super friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order. Would definitely recommend this place.
Good food but slightly disappointing from previous visits.
Wine great service superb. Very nice ambiance.
Server Alberto was great! Food was fantastic and not too loud. Would go again.
Outstanding as always! Wish I lived here so we could come more often!
Coco Pazzo has always been a solid restaurant worth driving to from the north shore. However, the food wasn’t up to par with why we go back over and over. The best I can describe is salty yet unseasoned. Every dish was salt forward, even the bread. I want Coco Pazzo to succeed but not sure it can with this taste profile. Whatever happened needs amending.
Service is still among the very best in Chicago and we can always count on having a conversation without yelling over obnoxious music.
Gnocchi was the bomb but all our food was excellent.
We chose this restaurant for dinner after a fun day in the city for a family reunion based on great reviews. Everything was great and three of us ordered the Branzino special that was quickly deboned at the table… unfortunately all three plates ended up with small bones remaining and one of our family inadvertently swallowed and nearly choked on them… the waiter and management did what they could but needless to say the evening was ruined. Mistakes happen but If you offer this kind of special you need to take more care in preparing it.
There is a reasonable choice of traditional Italian fare - and everything I have ever chosen has been excellent. The portion sizes are reasonable - which makes it easy to come back often without caloric guilt!
We had not been to Coco Pazzo for about 10 years but it came to mind when we wanted a place to celebrate two family birthdays. The food was as good as we remembered, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the experience was just terrific. We will be back.
Very nice dinner. I had veal, husband had seafood risotto, both dishes were good. Staff dealt well with a gf issue. Wine pours were disappointing. Dessert (flourless cake more like a lava cake) was delicious.
Celebrating 50 year anniversary
Perfect - from service to food to wine suggestion. It couldn't have been better.
Always a special place. Delighted to see it full. Jack and staff should be highly praised for weathering the storm.
has been a favorite for over 25 years. I moved away and back on a visit...it did not disappoint.
There is elegance in this choice at a more reasonable cost than the same at top-rated restaurants in Chicago. Food is truly Italian inspired. Superior service by knowledgable wait staff. Excellent bartender. Overall one of our favorites in Chicago and we are very particular about our dining experiences.
Food was fabulous. The appetizers were delicious, the entrees fantastic and the desserts perfect. We celebrated a family member anniversary and the waiter brought out a beautifully presented plate of cookies with a candle and anniversary wishes in chocolate on the plate. The restaurant as packed with everyone enjoying end of lockdown and return to more normalcy. Our only complaint was our service, which was extremely slow and at times, nonexistent. We were there nearly four hours, of which the last 45 minutes was spent waiting for our check.
Coco Pazzo is back!. Good food . Good menu. A very reliable good choice.
This is a classy, charming, beautiful restaurant. The food and service were outstanding.
The service was slow, we found a hair in a salad, the waiter spilled a glass of redwine and I received the wrong entree.
Very good Italian food. Great ambiance
Terrible waiter. Sad as it was our 35th anniversary.
wonderful apps with all great pasta dishes
very nice food and service as usual. With pizza marguerita, salad and eggplant parm, easy to go light and vegetarian, although next time will try the veal saltimbocca. Nice to see things back to as they were!
Excellent food, quality quality quality. Need to go again amd will make it a regular stop.
Coco Pazzo made my husband’s milestone birthday a real celebration. Thx.
Great food and service. Our favorite place to go.
Service was a bit slow
I think I was charged for a missed reservation despite having attended. Came through as a $125 reoccurring charge that nobody can explain.
Food, drink, and ambiance were excellent, but service was quite slow.
as usual, quiet and elegant. a lovely dining experience. menu is classic italian.
Great to be back to familiar favorite!! Food was great as always. A little slow out of the kitchen but nothing major. Still one of the best in the city
Jack and his team are the best. Service, food and ambiance always exceed expectations.
Always spectacular, this was our first in restaurant meal in fifteen months, and we chose wisely!! 🙏
Positive and energetic vibe but table conversation heard. Loved the veal saltimbocca.
The table side de-boned Sea Bass was fantastic, the fava bean salad was refreshing land the service impeccable. We’re never disappointed at Coco Pazzo which is probably why we drive in from Detroit to dine at the restaurant.
CP has been there forever, I was reminded why on Thursday night. Excellent food. Service slow, but I expect they’ll improve with time.
The dessert was not the best part or our dinner...
Our selection was Frito Misto, really good
Spaghetti Vongole and black pasta with seafood, both dishes very tasty
They service was on the slow side... but overall it was nice place to have dinner with my husband while visiting Chicago
