Coco Pazzo always provides wonderful ambiance, excellent service and delicious well presented food. The wine list is excellent and the servers knowledgable and pleasant. It is always a special evening when you are dining at Coco Pazzo!
Good food and the staff did not interrupt during customer conversation.
Menu limited and food average at best. Service a bit slow.
Outstanding experience….had not been to coco Pazzo in quite some time and was thrilled to see that the food and service were as good as I remember if not better. Masking and social distancing were being enforced so I felt safe. Will definitely be going back soon….I highly recommend.
Amazing food, great service. Coco Pazzo is always one of my very favorite restaurants.
Excellent as usual with full menu back. One of the best white tablecloth fine dining places. Excellent special was an eggplant and olive sauce garganelli. 4 different thin crust pizza appetizer. Good bartender
I had a dinner for two with my wife at this restaurant for her birthday. The food was okay, but the service was just a disappointment.
We got sat next to a table of 8+ and a table of 6 among other tables. Our waitress only checked on us once to place our order before we finished our dinner. This is compared to the kitchen staff which brought our appetizers, dinner, desert refilled water/wine, and asked us how every plate tasted. They took great care of us.
It took us 1 hour and 50 minutes to eat our food of which 50 minutes was waiting for dinner, dessert, and check from our waitress. It got to a point where we simply wanted to leave and it was so uncomfortable since didn’t have the opportunity to pay.
They’re too understaffed to cater to tables less than 4. Be careful about dining here if you’re a smaller party.
The only reason they are getting two stars, is for the great kitchen staff otherwise we would have walked out.
The buffalo mozzarella was superb as well as the ragu!
Every entree was oversalted.
The roasted vegetables were served cold.
Servers seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed.
Still, I would return after a few months to give the servers a chanced.
Good for thanksgiving dinner - on the expensive side but expected for an Italian white cloth restaurant in Chicago
Thanksgiving Dinner was fantastic. Great food and superb service.
Excellent as always great place
Been visiting Coco Pazzo for 15 years. Most restaurants don't last that long, so that says something. Best and most consistent Italian food presentation in the City in IMO. The Branzino is always perfect. Rigatoni Butera, gnocchi and risotto have always delivered.
Understanding that the pandemic has impacted businesses, I have never been to a restaurant so quick to rush a party of 11 through. Menus being snatched out of hands, demands to get orders in, and then slamming a $600 check onto the table. The food was on par with Maggiano's quality. Very disappointed.
I’ve always loved Coco Pazzo and will continue to come!
Awesome ambience, so cozy and lovely. Manuel waited on us at the bar and poured delicious cocktails, and had great energy. The food was fabulous! We loved our experience there and we will be back! Great employees serving all of the guests.
Coco Pazzo is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. I am never disappointed when I return there with family or new friends. The Branzino is flaky and light, the pastas are superb. You can't make a bad choice at Coco Pazzo.
Coco Pazzo is one of our long standing favorites in Chicago. It never disappoints us.
Everything was what you would hope- a great variety of foods, mostly centered around classics done perfectly and great service. We were a large group and could not have had a better experience in this elegant, conveniently located space. Thank you!
Veal medallions were DELICIOUS with mushrooms in a wine reduction, spinach and creamy polenta.
Very pleasant experience. Service was above average, food was outstanding!
Guests from out of town? Coco Pazzo is the ideal place to take them. A wonderful atmosphere, outstanding cuisine and a fine wine list, friendly and discrete service. A special Chicago evening!
We loved everything at Coco Pazzo! The food was fabulous. The atmosphere was perfect. There were large tables of young people and tables of older people as well. Everyone was dressed nicely, which I personally appreciate. The service was impeccable. We enjoyed everything from the breadsticks to the gelato.
Great food and service! Lovely space, will definitely return!
It is one of my favour restaurant in Chicago. Good Italian food!
Wonderful food as always. Service was a little rougher than usual. Did not feel quite as welcome as prior servers made me feel at Coco Pazzo.
Classic upscale Italian and our favorite in the city. Some things should never change because it’s so good. This is it.
Not sure what was going on on Saturday night but the service was absolutely terrible. Waiter disappeared constantly. Really unhappy about the experience.
The full menu is back and outstandingly excellent. New is cacio e peppe, simple, paired with oven roasted branzino it was great. And the beet salad with goat cheese is back, i do love me some beets but had to get the artichoke salad too. Drinks and wine reasonably priced, I had a negroni asked for gin other than tanquerey and they gave me Hendricks! Delish. Just outstanding food snd service.
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding.
Lovely food comfortable environment. Service was professional. Enjoyed branzino veal, pasta special. Wide ranging Italian wine selections
It was fantastic as usual! The waitstaff were off the charts to match their food. We’re so happy to be back!
Wonderful French waiter. Food exquisite
Excellent food and wine! Ordered the specials: Risotto, and swordfish so good!!
Fabulous and personal service. Outstanding food. Lovely Italian wine list and signature cocktails
Excellent food & service
Restaurant was a bit chilly inside
Best Italian I've had in Chicago city. Last time around we came here but our booking was in coco pazzo cafe. The cafe was good, so we wanted to try this place. We weren't let down, the food was amazing.
Excellent food and service.
The grilled octopus antipasti on olives and tomato sauce was one of my favorite I’ve ever eaten. Then there was a buttery clam pasta and a wild boar ragu that were also excellent. A mystery dish, compliments of the chef, came out and was delicious too… my guess was it was some kind of tortilla with squash blossom and really fresh mozzarella or burrata?
The only thing my party didn’t enjoy was our Secondi - the seafood stew. It was extremely salty and the seafood in it was quite over cooked. Which was surprising because the previous seafood courses we’d ordered were so excellent…
Overall it was a great dinner and very satisfying.
A great friend came into town for a visit and I wanted to take him to some of my favorite Chicago places. I’ve been going to Coco Pazzo since the early 90’s. They have never let me down. Always great, and very consistent… you can rely on them for a comfortable experience and delicious Tuscan style food. I once took 13 other friends there for my 50th birthday celebration, which is still very memorable for many of us. My friend was duly impressed and loved every bite (as did I). Thank you Coco Pazzo for another great night!
