We love Coco Pazzo, eat here every time we are in Chicago - for years. We always have enjoyed, and cherished the experience. This time, and it was my birthday ( we did not make this known), the large groups were so predominant that we were lost in the shuffle (just a two top). Our food was excellent, as always, but it was almost an hour before we got a bread basket, no one asked us for a second drink, the noise was so loud it was difficult to hear each other. We are happy for Coco’s success but we fear their ambiance is gone.

Service was lacking on my visit; no coffee refills without asking, left dessert menus but didn't come back to get order without flagging him. Had to get his attention to get bill at the end. Not very consistent. Food was delicious as always!

I love Coco Pazzo. I’ve been going since I was a kid and it has never disappointed. The power went out during my recent visit and the staff were still very attentive and kept us updated. I will be back as often as I can be.

The food and service was excellent. We had the bolognese and eggplant parmigian. Very authentic. They even got a hold of us afterwards to let us know we left a drink thermos. Highly recommend Coco Pazzo.

Truly enjoyed our meals. The service was outstanding and the staff focused their attention to our every need. Spirits were good and an awesome wine selection. all this for a reasonable cost....well worth the cost. would recommend to all! T&T

The food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend. Our waiter must have been fairly new as he didn't know the menu that well but he was very nice and responsive. The seafood stew was outstanding. The pasta was as good as I've tasted. The panna cotta was also the best I've tasted. Would definitely recommend.

Always outstanding food and service. Tonight the soup special with lentils, vegetables and potatoes was exceptional. The entree special which was tuna was also excellent. I would love to see it on the regular menu. Our server also was very good. The Chef you have now is very talented. I would not let him get away. My wife and I always feel at home at Coco Pazzo, and will return many times.

Our favorite restaurant for a peaceful evening with friends and guests. Food is ALWAYS outstanding, service is expert and genial, ambiance is quietly understated. Plus, location is very accessible, valet parking in front, and now that the weather is warmer, you can arrange to sit outside at tables with umbrellas.

I had trouble finding a restaurant to accommodate our party of 10. I had been to Coco Pazzo years ago, but not recently. It was a perfect choice for our group. The food was delicious, and service was amazing! We were seated at a round table, and the noise level was not loud, so we were able to have a nice catch up. I am so glad I booked here, and will definitely be back.

Completely understand why Coco Pazzo has been an institution in Chicago for as long as it has been. The food is fabulous, classic Southern Italian cuisine. Specials are delicious and our recommendations from the server were on point. After the appetizers were dropped and our main courses were ordered, we felt...forgotten about. Our wine orders for dinner were taken after our main courses were dropped, we had to flag for dessert and dessert plates, a 2.5-hour dinner could have been trimmed down to 2. It was a Monday and the restaurant wasn't packed, just expected a little more attentiveness.

From the moment you enter the restaurant yo know it’s going to be a great experience. It is classic elegant Italian restaurant with its aroma that make you feels mama is cooking. The service is very elegant and engaging. They let you enjoy with no hurry, excellent wine list, and the pasta is fresh. You cannot get a better price.

After coco Pazzo cafe closed, our group went to the original restaurant. We always loved the menu and the quiet ambiance and the attentive kind service at the cafe. We were not disappointed, and found that the menu items were actually a bit more enhanced and tasty. If you are not in Italy, you can go to Coco Pazzo.

Dinner was nice. I wish the dress code was made a bit more clear as I felt underdressed for the night. The noise level was good until for some reason a whole group of patrons were huddled around our table. And one kept bumping her purse into my fiancées back. Nobody made any effort to get this group to sit at the bar or move to the waiting area. The food was good and as was the value of what we got. I think we will come back one more time at least but I feel as though the plate lacked “oomf” and felt singularly noted. I had to chefs choice risotto.
