The food was very good. we had a couple of apps to start out, the artichokes and an arrancini dish- both really good. We all had pasta which was amazing, fresh homemade pasta, definitely will come back next time we’re in Chicago.
Great food and atmosphere.
Nice staff. Decent food. Wine list just ok.
We randomly came across this gem while searching for a place to eat on yelp. Reservations were available and we booked it. Great find! Spaghetti AOP is one of the best pasta dishes ever! Great service. Good wine selection. Cute little establishment. Will return when back in Chicago.
I've been to this restaurant almost every time I visit Chicago and it never fails to please. The wait staff is attentive, the cuisine always perfect. The antipasto appetizer was perfect for two, nicely sliced and plated. I had the ravioli for the entrée and ate every bit of it-delicious! The by-the-glass wine pours are substantial so overall the dinner was terrific!
I still miss the old place on St. Clair. Bright lights at large glass windows, a stone wall and limited number of murals make this place less cozy. Food was good--Rigatoni--but I detected fewer "goodies" (meat) in the mix. It's probably a welcome addition to Streeterville, but, sorry to say, I won't be returning as frequently.
Coco Pazzo Cafe has been a favorite of mine for a few years. Prices are reasonable, and the food is always fantastic. I had the beet salad and pork this trip, and both were quite tasty. The best part of the meal is the thinly sliced and grilled bread in the bread basket. I could eat a whole basket of them, but then I wouldn't have any room for the rest of the meal. If you like beets, the beet salad is always tasty too.
Very nice ambiance and setting. Sat at the bar for my meal as I was eating alone. Bartender fixed me an excellent Manhattan. The carbonara waa fantastic and had just the right mix of bacon and cheese, at least for my taste. An after dinner drink and a quick chat with the bartender left me with a fantastic appreciation for this restaurant.
I was pleased, hadn't dined at CPC in quite a while. The food was good, as it always was, they make a terrific Linguine Alla Vongole (clam sauce). My guest liked her gnocchi. Courteous service is important to me, and servers and hosts were terrific. No complaints, can't wait to return and enjoy Coco Pazzo Café again.
Always pleased at Coco Pazzo Cafe!
After the eggplant appetizer I knew I was in the right place. I had the carbonara and my wife had the rigatoni and loved them both. I have a feeling no matter what you order it would be great. Ambiance, artwork and amazing staff all led to an experience we won't soon forget.
We live in Streeterville and this is our go to restaurant. I have my favorites but everything I’ve tried is delicious!
Always excellent! One of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago!
We had a delicious meal. Ever since Coco Pazzo Cafe moved to the new spot, the food has been great. I’m loving it again and will go back often. We had a salad and 2 pasta dishes. All were so good it would be hard to pick a favorite. Nice and lively or good for conversation too.
THE FOOD AT COCO PAZZO CAFE IS TOP NOTCH THE SERVICE IS WONDERFUL IT IS MY GO TO PLACE FOR WONDERFUL ITALIAN FOOD.
The server polite and attentive. The muscles appetizer was delicious and the entree portions were perfectly portioned. The desert was absolutely scrumptious. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will most definitely be back!
Everything was delicious. Outstanding gnocchi and pulled beef ragu. Will definitely be back!
I eat here often and love it. Went for Valentine's Day with my husband. We both had the scallops which were meaty and delicious. The service is always very attentive. Great wine selection. Panna Cotta for dessert is yummy and not so rich you feel over full after dinner.
This is a favorite in Chicago. Wonderful homemade pasta, great service and hospitality. One of our must-dos when we are in town!
My spouse is from Italy and has been in Chicago for 1 1/2 years and says this is authentic Italian from the supli to the pastas! I have know this for years! Delicious! One if the best Italian restaurants in Chicago.
Wonderful ambiance, service and food. Perfect dining experience
I found this place on Open Table. The distance from the Art Museum & it's ratings, along with my husband wanting Italian, made our decision. Since it's Chicago restaurants week, I ordered the special menu which consisted of 3 courses = $33. I opted for the Baked Eggplant Parmesan, which I must say was excellent! It was a large portion, considering it was an appetizer. My husband, who doesn't care for eggplant, even thought it was good! He go the Cesare (their spelling) salad for an opener. It had "just enough" dressing that tasted homemade. It was delicious! For entrees, I chose the SPAGHETTI ‘AOP - Tomato, Garlic, Olive Oil, Spicy Red Chili Pepper. It was spicy, but just what I was hoping for. Excellent! My husband opted for the PAPPARDELLE - House Made Pasta, Wild Boar Ragù, which he liked very much! Both pastas came out al dente. My meal included a dessert of which we chose the tiramisu. That was a disappointment. It had an extra squishy base and not enough sweetness to it. We don't like super sweet things, but this really was not sweet enough, in our opinion. One of the owners approached us upon leaving and apologized and asked the problem. We honestly told him. He was super apologetic and very concerned with our being satisfied. We told him overall, it was excellent. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere enjoyable. My husband did note that a quite music in the background would've been, also, enjoyable.
We will definitely recommend and return. Thank you!!
One of my all time favorite restaurants in the city. However I miss the more cozy atmosphere and neighborhood feel of the last location. Now on a busy thoroughfare without a quaint outdoor seating area. Great Italian authentic fare - meal has always been delightful.
The manager always makes sure that we have a superior experience each & every time. He is cognizant of our time restrictions and makes sure the staff tends to our needs by providing us with a frefreshing, jam packed lunch hour! Thank you...
Cocco Pazzo Cafe is a neighborhood gem serving delicious food in a warm ambience. I particularly am fond of the complimentary warm bread served with olive oil - nice touch that makes this restaurant more special than others.
Not as good as on previous occasions. They took my favorite dish-pasta carbonara-off the menu for Restaurant Week. White bean soup and side of spinach very good. Lasagna just OK
I was so disappointed when I learned that Coco Pazzo on St. Clair had closed since I had been frequenting it for years. So, I was curious about the new location when it opened and was pleased to experience the same great pasta and ambience that I enjoyed often over the years.
Dinner was incredible, as was the service. I was reconnecting with old friends and I was concerned that the dinner would be rushed. Far from it, the service was impeccable and we were never rushed the entire evening. My friends loved the food and atmosphere and will no doubt become loyal customers.
Great pasta dishes.
A warm welcome and very attentive service plus delicious food including excellent bread rounded out a totally pleasant evening out. The linguine with clams featured small clams and great flavor. The grilled vegetable entree was also attractive and appealing. Recommended wine was perfect. A great neighborhood place. My husband adores their lasagna.
great ambience excellent food very good service
their pasta carbonara is the best but everything is very good
New location is perfect. Food was exceptional. Service is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.
Very very nice to be back at an old favorite - so glad to have rediscovered your

The food was delicious and creative. Estevan was a delight.
I took my family here before seeing a performance at the Cadillac Theater. Everyone enjoyed the warmed bread and thin toasted bread slices. In addition to five entrees, we ordered fries as an appetizer. The entrees were all delicious and seemed like just the right size -- no leftovers.
We’ve been going to Coco Pazzo Cafe for years and have always enjoyed the great food, service and ambience. It took us a little while to get used to the new location but now we like it very much as well. In fact, now we have the benefits of both Coco Pazzo Cafe’s and Tres Soldi’s wonderful food - the best of both. The service stands out - attentive wait staff who give you space and don’t rush you. It’s still a great place to meet friends for a long lunch. Special thanks and appreciation go also to maitre’d/manager Marco, who never fails to greet us by name and make us feel welcome.
We had a wonderful evening. Great location! Even for a busy New Year’s Eve we got in on reservation straight away. I had the sea bass which was wonderful but my husband’s steak was just okay. He wished he had ordered the fish as well. Kids loved the spaghetti!
I've been here 4-5 times and never had a bad experience - food is delicious, wait staff are friendly and attentive while not obtrusive, ambience is very nice with cute decor and low noise that enables friends to talk comfortably. Plus they serve gluten-free...special thanks for this! Will return & highly recommend to others.
Great ambiance, food was really good. In town from Michigan, would definitely recommend it. Pizza was unique and very good.
All around great food at a good value for the neighborhood and quality of the food. Knowledgeable waiter too. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for northern Italian food with a Tuscan bent.
