A warm welcome and very attentive service plus delicious food including excellent bread rounded out a totally pleasant evening out. The linguine with clams featured small clams and great flavor. The grilled vegetable entree was also attractive and appealing. Recommended wine was perfect. A great neighborhood place. My husband adores their lasagna.

I took my family here before seeing a performance at the Cadillac Theater. Everyone enjoyed the warmed bread and thin toasted bread slices. In addition to five entrees, we ordered fries as an appetizer. The entrees were all delicious and seemed like just the right size -- no leftovers.

We’ve been going to Coco Pazzo Cafe for years and have always enjoyed the great food, service and ambience. It took us a little while to get used to the new location but now we like it very much as well. In fact, now we have the benefits of both Coco Pazzo Cafe’s and Tres Soldi’s wonderful food - the best of both. The service stands out - attentive wait staff who give you space and don’t rush you. It’s still a great place to meet friends for a long lunch. Special thanks and appreciation go also to maitre’d/manager Marco, who never fails to greet us by name and make us feel welcome.

We had a wonderful evening. Great location! Even for a busy New Year’s Eve we got in on reservation straight away. I had the sea bass which was wonderful but my husband’s steak was just okay. He wished he had ordered the fish as well. Kids loved the spaghetti!

I've been here 4-5 times and never had a bad experience - food is delicious, wait staff are friendly and attentive while not obtrusive, ambience is very nice with cute decor and low noise that enables friends to talk comfortably. Plus they serve gluten-free...special thanks for this! Will return & highly recommend to others.

All around great food at a good value for the neighborhood and quality of the food. Knowledgeable waiter too. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for northern Italian food with a Tuscan bent.

Enjoyable meal with grandma and her adult grandchildren. Great environment and food was tasty. Portions varied so some of us left overly stuffed, while others were not yet full. The initial wine pairing suggestion from the waiter was not great, but was not a big issue. Overall, it was enjoyable and would recommend to someone who wanted Italian food.

Loved the pappardelle with wild boar sauce & the risotto. Unfortunately, the noise level was unpleasant. As we understand the restaurant is working on ways to reduce noise, we'll try again. Coco Pazzo Cafe had been one of
our favorite restaurants for several years so we hope they are able to address the noise.

Coco Pazzo is the best Italian restaurant in Chicago! The food is fantastic, and the service was great, too. We went there to celebrate my parents anniversary, and our server was attentive and very helpful. The pasta was perfectly done and we ordered a few and tasted all of them. We ended the meal with the flourless chocolate cake, and it was one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. I highly recommend Coco Pazzo!

A very traditional Italian restaurant. Good variety of menu items - well prepared. This venue is noisier than their prior location - so it is less conversation friendly. Wine seems pricey

The original location changed and it was not the same! I used to come to coco pazzo with my kids for years in the past and we loved it so much because it was quaint and the service was so nice and charming. Now the admosphere was almost cold and was missing the Charme it once had. Very sad because to this day it was our favorite place to eat. Food was ok but not anything special.

The salmon dish was excellent - one of the best in the Chicago area.
We had requested a round table when making the reservation, and Coco Pazzo accommodated the request.
We were not rushed through our meal or after-dinner conversation.

Our first visit to the new location....Much of the old decor transferred, but now a more contemporary vibe. The food remains outstanding and the waiter was personable and helpful. We appreciated the broad choices of wine by the glass. The only negative was the bus staff , placing used appetizer silverware back on the table, and (uncharacteristic for a European style restaurant) clearing the table while I was still eating. I found myself finishing supper on an empty table where not only my companions's place had been wiped clean but the bread plate, oil, and even my shell bowl had been whisked away.

Happy to find the new location for a restaurant I used to think of as classic Italian, I booked a table for me and an old friend who was visiting. Nice choices of wines by the glass and great bread on the table. Kale salad was good (you could go easier on blue cheese). But the pastas were dreadful because their "al dente" was extreme. I have lived in Italy, so I know what al dente means. I ate just last week at Vinci, and their pappardelle were done perfectly. Many restaurants get it right. Not here. The squid ink pasta was so hard it was inedible. They offered to remake it, but we declined as we'd eaten all the seafood out of the dish. The pappardelle we had them remake a small portion and it was still quite toothsome. That is so sad. But alas there are many other Italian places in town. Please chefs, taste your food!

Been here many times over the last two years and always found the meals good. Disappointed in the quality of the food this time. The pasta seemed mushy and the ingredients of a lower quality than in the past. Will try again to see if this is just an off day.

This was dinner with a friend I had not seen for a long time. We were having a leisurely dinner when our waiter suddenly started asking us if we were through with our dinner (we weren't) multiple times. When we ordered dessert and beverages, they arrived in record time along with the check. 15 minutes later the owner informed us he needed our table for a large party. He said he had another table for us but in fact there was nothing available. We spent 90 minutes in the restaurant which is certainly not a long time for dinner. When we pointed out there was no table he said one would open up for us. They practically moved the table before we stood up. We will not be returning.
