The service for food was quick, for drinks it was slow. The Tuscan fries are okay, I wouldn’t get them again. We got 2 pasta dishes ans we liked both of them!
There was a very loud party near us but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. The restaurant was perfect, highly recommend the octopus!
Ate here NYE. Good service, not a long time for food or service with reservation. Tried the Arrancini appetizer and found it an odd mix of warm Arrancini over a cold sauce. Rice in it didn’t have the best flavor but not bad. Loved the eggplant parm, , came served with a side of salad vs pasta. Also tried the seared scallop risotto special that was good. Beet salad was delicious. Server was please.
Server had very little table awareness. There was no check back. I finished my glass of wine and he walked by twice, looking directly at the table and didn’t offer another glass. On his third trip passing, I had to stop him and ask. The food was very good. The Capponata and Arancini excellent. Mussels were wonderful.
Amazing good, casual experience for my family Christmas dinner. Pasta cooked to Al dente perfection.
Delicious food, friendly service and great experience
Really enjoyed our time at Coco Pazzo Cafe. There were 7 of us and we had a very attentive wait staff. Food was good. Something for everyone. Nice wine selection.
Authentic Italian restaurant. Great pasta dinners in a really great location. The service was exceptional.
My group (family and friends) had dinner as part of our holiday outing. We had a great time and the food was wonderful. The service was excellent. Thank you for making our experience so nice!
Recommend this place for a nice meal with goid service!
Outstanding restaurant. Great food and service. Highly recommend.
A neighborhood gem. Wonderful Italian food, drinks, and great service
Absolutely delicious food
First, our drinks and Spaghetti AOP were excellent! If you like a little heat in your spaghetti, I definitely recommend the AOP and add meatballs.
In terms of noise level, the restaurant was louder and busier than I expected. (We were sitting near a really large party of more than 20 young folks. They probably needed a private room.) Service was a little disjointed. (I got my entre' way before my salad.) Don't get me wrong, the servers were hustling and everyone was pleasant. Just our experience was a little disjointed. But hey, it's the holidays, and every restaurant is having staffing challenges. I'll still go back. I recommend that you do too.
We enjoyed dinner and appreciated early seating before a show at the United Center!
Being from Chicago, I love to eat and Chicago has some of the finest restaurants. Coco Pazzo is a delightful dining experience. Not only is the food good the ambiance is wonderful. Both of us had pasta dishes that were amazing. The bread was also amazing. It was a little loud but there might have been a company holiday party going on. Highly recommend this spot on Ohio!
It’s in my neighborhood and I haven’t been since it moved from St. Clair. It will now be a regular of mine. I loved it all. Food. Service. The look. And one is able to have a conversation.
This is the GO-FOR restaurant in the neighborhood.
Lively, classic Ilatian ristorante, with fair price.
Definetely a cossy, relaxed choice for dinner in weekdays with families and close friends.
Food was delicious!
Service was great. Seated right away. Small bar so it's difficult to wait if you had to. Caponata was salty but the remainder of the food was great.
Appetizers were good portion-mussels, octopus. I wonder if they use food enhancer? My wife thought she was having some skin reactions later in the evening. Despite of her body reaction, we both felt it is a good place for meal.
Enjoyed food and drinks
In town for the weekend and made a reservation for my wife’s birthday.
You would have thought we were family ! Almost everyone wished her a happy birthday and made her feel very special.
And the food was absolutely outstanding.
Will be a required stop whenever we are in Chicago.
Great food! The bone marrow appetizer was a delightful surprise. 6 of us had everything from Lasagne to veal to risotto. It all came out hot. Thanks for a great night
The food at Coco Pazzo Cafe was wonderful as always and our server William helped us celebrate a perfect anniversary dinner.
One of our favorite places prior to the Pandemic.
Good to have a great place back on our list.
Special Thanksgiving menu was perfection but you have to get their homemade gnocchi, too. I could eat their gnocchi everyday of my life. Get the gnocchi. Always get the gnocchi. Also the service here is phenomenal. Love Coco Pazzo Café! xo
Great last minute booking available after the mag mile parade. Food was great - the pasta was so fresh!!
I came here with my parents for my birthday dinner, and I had a wonderful experience! I’ve been to the other Coco Pazzo so I wanted to give the café a try, and I’m glad I did. The ambiance and lighting is spectacular, and it felt so cozy and comfortable. I loved all of the dishes we had—my dad’s bruschetta could have been toasted a bit more, and my mom said the cavatappi could have had a bit more salt, but overall we really enjoyed it. Our server was very polite and didn’t rush us at all. She even brought a delicious dessert to the table with a candle for my birthday free of charge. Will definitely come back! :)
Our server was very very attentive
Food was outstanding
Food was disappointing. Definitely far away from being a decent Italian…
Service and Ambient were fine.
It doesn’t matter what you order. Everything comes out smoking hot and delicious! The entire staff is so friendly you actually feel like family. This is one of the best of Chicago!
I had not been since the onset of covid restrictions-- and was very happy to find that Coco Pazzo Cafe is just as good as ever, with authentic Italian dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back soon.
I was looking forward to relaxing and having dinner and cocktails. I had two Bud Light and then they ran out and had no other light beer to offer me as a substitute. Also both mine and my husband’s noodles were hard.
We had a really good meal at Coco Pazzo Cafe on Sweetest Day. The spaghetti with the spicy sauce (plus meatballs) was really good. The hostess was kind to reseat us when the first table was did not work for me. (it was right under a vent and the cool air was freezing me) The servers attitude was a bit lackluster. Had it not been for that, I would have been a higher rating because we really enjoyed our food
Wonderful comfortable place. Nice atmosphere and people.
This is a great place to go for some tasty food and a good drink! Pasta and salads were delicious!
The manager and service were amazing!
This was my first time here in a Friday night, and the restaurant was full. The service was attentive and friendly, as it always was also pre-Covid. Although our waiter forgot to tell us about the specials upfront, he brought the fish special to our attention as we were ordering and my guest wanted seafood. Both the salmon and the white fish were good. I particularly enjoyed the farro with my salmon.
Always enjoy eating here; service is good, food excellent, you don’t feel rushed.
