Coco Pazzo Café
Excellent food and service. Always consistent and know how to take care of customers.
I hadn't been to Coco Pazzo Cafe in many years. I was hoping it would be as good as I remembered and it was as good or better.
Probably the worst service and dining experience I’ve had in a while. We waited over 30 minutes for our waitress to come to the table, and when she did, we placed our order immediately. We all ordered drinks, which took another 20 minutes to receive. After she finally brought me my cocktail (that she clearly had forgotten about), she said our appetizers would be out “ any minute.” Well, that was actually another 25 minutes.... by this time we just wanted to leave. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we just tried to make the best of things. Our entrees came out, and were just average. Our waitress never came back to check on us. After waiting quite some time, we actually had to ask someone to find her and have her bring us our check. Such a disappointment.
Menu has changed. They have taken off pizza which was one of the main reasons to go there. They had the best pizza in the neighborhood.
They have also removed other favorite items from the menu like Cauliflower pesto and Shrimp bruschetta and Polpo. They do have Octopus on the menu but it is an extremely poor preparation. Meat was stinky and rubbery. I had to spit it out.
Mussels had lot of grain/ dirt in them. Broth was extremely oily.
Not going back again EVER until they bring back the pizza. I also spread the word in my friend circle not to go there.
Very disappointing experience.
Ricotta gnocchi was very good!
Coco Pazzo Cafe was perfect for our team lunch! A highly recommend!
The eggplant parmasan was fresh and delicious. The sauce was just right .
We went for restaurant week and it was great menu for a great price. I went with the beet salad, linguine and clams, and tiramisu which did not disappoint!
Delialcous food; nice service !
Excellent food. This is one of our favorite places. Just a minor complaint that the lights above us were flickering and thus a bit distracting.
Lovely! Went after the movies and wished I could have eaten more, but everything we ordered was delicious and the service was on point! Barley soup and trout special we’re both wonderful! We will return:)
Too expensive for the experience (food, ambiance and service). At the same price point, it is worth considering Coco Pazzo on Hubbard which is a truly authentic Italian restaurant with Italian staff, awesome food, great service and a very nice and elegant location.
Food and service were outstanding. My family truly enjoyed the experience. I was unable to attend however all of my pre-visit requested were spot on. Wine on the table and dessert for my daughters 21st birthday. Thank you staff.
Great good and service
Overall an average experience. Service was inconsistent. The sausage pizza we ordered had globs of chili paste and no sausage. When we mentioned it the server just looked at the pizza but didn’t offer anything. In our reservation we put that we were celebrating a birthday. They never acknowledged it. When we ordered dessert there was no candle we had to ask for one —very disappointing overall.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area -- and a good location for dinner before attending events in the Loop. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent.
As always, a very pleasant dining experience. Professional wait staff, excellent food and pleasing ambiance.
Love this restaurant! Great local joint, with great food, and service. Highly recommend!
We loved Coco Pazzo Cafe !!!! It was a great place to celebrate New Years Eve with our kids !!!! We will definitely go back again !!!! 😊👍❤️
i had not been to new location (which is 3 years old now!) and found this to a nice place to have a simple quiet meal. Very good Pizza and Minestrone soup.
Great dinner with the family. Our waiter Luis was attentive friendly and made some fantastic dish recommendations. Ragu, gnocchi and clam linguine were really good.
Adequate neighborhood place. Not as good as old site Acceptable Italian place but much to recommend it
Fettuccini Carbonara very well made
Nice welcoming staff
Good choice for Family dinning.
For a quick Italian meal off the magmile it is fine.
Coco Pazzo Cafe is my go to restaurant to meet friends when I’m in the Gold Coast. It is one of my favorite places yo dine!
This is one of our favorite restaurants! Always incredible and service is great. Never disappoints. We eat here at least twice on our long weekend trips to Chicago. First lunch after flying in and find another time to go again.
Always a fabulous Italian meal (Boar Ragu, lasagna); Good Italian wine selection (Good Prices); Good bartenders, fabulous staff and excellent manager (Marco). A neighborhood Gem.
They went above and beyond to serve and accommodate! All of the dishes were excellent and did not disappoint in any way. Great hidden gem for a more casual business dinner. Thank you, for a great night Coco Pazzo!
Everything was delicious. Kind attentive staff, and very satisfied with experience.
Highly recommend the grilled Polpo (grilled octopus). Just melted in my mouth.n My husband had the Pappardelle and was also very pleased. Tibbs
great food, excellent service. Wine was a tad over priced.
Fish dishes were excellent. Tasty, served nice and warm. Wonderful seasonings!
Loved the food. Service was exceptional. This is a great restaurant that never disappoints.
Still one of my favorite places 20 years on. Just a fabulous spot with a great menu and affordable prices.
Fantastico Italian restaurant with outstanding food and service.
Coco Pazzo Cafe has been one of those Chicago institutions for me. I love the food, the professional service and overall ambiance. It is a must if you like Italian.
Just as we remembered when they were located close to Northwestern Hospital.
The new location is lovely. We will definitely be back again!
