Wonderful food! Chicken enchiladas were amazing!
A super solid place with great service. We enjoyed ourselves.
Good food good service. Would have liked a few more entree options.
Drinks were so bad (margarita). Food quality and quantity was exceptionally bad. Service was average (could not find the staff most of the time)
Food was awesome, Margaritas were delicious and had plenty of tequila, and service was exceptional!
We arrived about 20 mins early for our reservation, and was told in a less than friendly manner to come back at our reservation time. We did and were promptly seated. While our waiter wasn't the friendlies, the woman helping him was awesome-super sweet and helpful. The food was very good but portions super small. $12 for two street tacos, no sides made for a very light meal. The house margarita tasted fresh and was delicious.
The food and service were great! I would recommend this place if you love Mexican food.
Awesome food! Awesome service, great skinny Margaritas
Treated my good friend for birthday dinner. The outdoor dining experience was nice and the food was awesome and so were the margaritas!
Service was great. Food was good, nothing special.
Change of shift they said so slow start to getting drinks on a very hot night. The food arrived and it was good as were the drinks.
Food- just decent. Service- not great at all.
Food good music too loud to chat
Great food, attentive service, reasonable prices. Nice ambiance sitting outside in the shade.
Guacamole appetizer and carne asada tacos were very tasty. The jackfruit vegetarian taco was very spicy and gross. Couldn’t eat it. Had to order a quesadilla to replace it. Prices are very reasonable here. Delicious complimentary salsa with chips was provided.
Really friendly staff, relaxing outside, amazing food (Tequila shrimp is reallllly good, also the Birria tacos).
I was disappointed where they sat us and they said that the other tables were reserved with people in the next 5 minutes - they were empty for over an hour so that was a bit frustrating. I think our servers were a bit tired and it showed - not super engaged but can understand that they are working so hard.
Amazing food, amazing service!
Good service and atmosphere food is delicious but tacos are a bit expensive for the size. Will dine there again.
Modern Mexican dishes with farm fresh ingredients.
Really happy with the outdoor dining during this time. Amazing food
Very good food and servicr
Took us 15 mins to get chips and salsa to our table, 10 mins to get our order taken, 10 mins to get dessert. Thus, service was all over the place. Also, the food, while delicious, cost $20 and didn’t fill me up at all. 2 enchiladas for $20 is not a meal. This is consistent with other reviews I’ve read.
Four of dined at Cocina Hermanas last night and we were very impressed with the restaurant. Our server, Allison, was perfect and professional in every way. We’ll definitely go back again.
We enjoyed our meals. I enjoyed the short rib tacos. Just excellent with a au jus, like a French dip sandwich. My wife had tamales and she really enjoyed her meal as well. We would go back if we were in the mood for Mexican, but the place is not cheap, $30 person, with only two drinks.
Professional staff, good food, nice atmosphere and great prices
Devin was our server and he was kind, professional and helpful with menu. I went to this restaurant for first time two weeks ago with friends and recommended to my husband, we made it back and just as delicious as first time.
Tables in the front patio were too close together with too many people walking by . Food was good
Salsa and chips jacking salt. Wine list is disappointing. I used to get a good Cabernet by the glass.., the Robledo. But it’s no longer by the glass !
Every restaurant needs a good cab by the glass
Please bring this back and I will eat there more often
Thank you. I also miss your seafood enchiladas
Thank you for being open!!!
Food was cold in the middle and not good value for money. Server was very nice, but got my drink order wrong, cleaned up the table inefficiently, did not check on us throughout the meal when drinks were finished and would’ve wanted another and gave our credit cards to the wrong table. Having worked in the service industry myself, I can totally understand that leniency is deserved with Covid, but some of these problems would’ve still been in place Covid aside.
The outdoor seating was nice and spaced out with a lot of too. The margaritas were very good. Order a pitcher for better value.
The service was excellent!
Delicious food, great service, fun eating outside.
We showed up for our reservation, but they closed down the kitchen early because business was slow. Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism. We showed up 30min before our reservation just to be turned away.
It was closed
Really good food and drinks at reasonable prices. The portions are good and the flavors are great. Every taco is good and the variety has something for everyone...easily my favorite Mexican food in Danville.
Chips could’ve used a little more salt. Carne asada was a big portion and delicious. Brussel sprouts that go with it on the side were slightly undercooked. My date wished she had more sauce to go with her tacos, which she also expected to be larger. Flan was large, but tasted a bit bitter due to the excess syrup. The strawberries that came with it were good. Service was great. Glad they were wearing gloves and masks properly. All outside table seating was distanced appropriately.
Very good; our first time
My son’s birthday celebration and Allison was our server and she was excellent! Great food, great service and great experience!
Their menu does not specify spice levels.
We love the food at Cocina Hermanas typically, but this time the service just wasn't up to snuff. They weren't overly busy for a Sunday afternoon, but everything at our table (and other neighboring ones) was taking double, if not triple the amount of time it should have taken. From initially being seated to getting our check at the end, we consistently had to ask for attention and felt rather neglected by the staff instead of well taken care of, contrasting with our prior excellent experiences at the restaurant. Additionally, the waiter kept playing with his mask with his hand and then touching our food with the same hand...which felt very concerning given the current nature of the pandemic we are facing. We won't be going back to the restaurant on the nature of the hygiene concern alone - at least until the pandemic is over and masks are no longer required. For food? I would highly recommend. Based on my last experience? I would have to add a disclaimer on the service...
Great staff and drinks!
