The staff was amazing! Just checked in with us enough to remember to order. Let us visit.
Their chips are very good, not greasy. A of their salsas were fresh. I got their brisket & queso filled tortilla that is fried & sliced as if it a sushi roll. Yum! Delicious. I got their corn too. My only gripe would be is their cobs are not fresh. I'm sure for consistency, but I prefer fresh over previously frozen. Their drinks are really good and their food is priced reasonably! Wish I knew about this place earlier!
Amazing food and amazing staff. 10/10!
The food was good, though pretty small portions, I left there still hungry. They were out of the beer that I wanted and the only other IPA they had wasn't great. I may go there again but it's not at the top of my list.
We were disappointed in the food. There wasn’t much care in the preparation and the flavor was not good. I can make better Mexican at home.
excellent street tacos and Margaritas. Very charming atmosphere.
Fish tacos were very bad, smell fish and serving is very small
Guacamole tasted bland with no flavor or any seasoning and they weren’t shy of charging top dollars for the food
Danville deserves better.
Ate outside on a hot day. Service was a bit slow at first but the staff made up for it when kindly reminded. Very cute/fun atmosphere and food was delicious.
We were a party of six for lunch on a Saturday. They made sure we got the table we wanted which was not in the sun. The server was polite, attentive and had a smile on his face.
The food and cocktails were very good. The fish tacos, ceviche and the sassy senorita were particularly impressive.
We loved the appetizers but not so much the entrees.
We would come back but only for drinks and appetizers.
This was the first time we’ve eaten inside since the start of the pandemic. They’ve improved the furniture, etc. somewhat but the food is why we go there and it was great. Margaritas are the best in town. Love this place
Excellent food and service!
Good value, interesting menu designed for healthier eating. Went with a big group (8) and service was great.
A birthday. Although I added that it was a bday when I reserved a table through open table, our server and hostess didn’t acknowledge this. The food and experience was still good.
This place is delicious and the ambience is nice. Staff is very friendly and everything is fresh and authentic!
Great pork belly starter and good margaritas. The Tres Diablo tacos (fish, shrimp and chicken) had good flavor but were too wet inside so messy to eat. Service was super--waitress brought tastes of Horchata and agua fresca to help our grandkids decide.
Good food and service
All went well except part of orders were mixed up
It was a good date night spot for us. We enjoyed it very much.
Polite and helpful staff. Great food.
We had such a great dinner here! The Margaritas were delicious and so were the tacos! Definitely check it out on a Tuesday for the discounted tacos!
Good service 👍I like it
Arrived early and was seated right away. Waiter provided great service. food was delicious as always. one of my favorite places to go.
The food was terrific especially as it was my first time at the restaurant. The service was a bit slow about taking away empty plates and also about asking for our order for entrées. But our server was super pleasant.
Great service. Beautiful atmosphere.
This place was VERY good. They had a few hiccups but what restaurant doesn't? If you plan on getting F'd up, this is the place to go for dinner. I got a piña colada. & boy was it STROOONGGGG. I couldn't taste coconut or pineapple. Just... rum 😂 Then we got ceviche. It was great, but not even enough for 2 people let alone a party of 6. Also, if you like small plates, this was also the place to be. Don't come with a big hungry appetite you will be left disappointed. I ordered tacos, & they are very strict about how many tacos you get. You can only get two. You can't mix and match. And you can't add more tacos for an additional cost.
Also ordered a horchata at the end & never received it. But the food was great, the vibes were great. Their foodrunners could use a little bit more customer service training, serve with a smile, etc., but it gave what it needed to gave.
I'll be coming back! :)
Great food, great service, fun music/ambiance. Watch out on Sunday, they were out of prickly pear margaritas and a favorite tequila!
Excellent food and beer and unusually great, attentive service!
This was our first time here. We sat inside and felt good with our distance from other diners. The food was so very flavorful. Presentation was good. Tasty lemonade. The chips were warm, light and crunchy. Salsa was yummy without being spicy hot.
Loved everything about this place! Very charming - great food and service.
Love the atmosphere, music. It feels authentic. The different salsas and our meals were delicious! Our service was a little slow, which is the norm now with not as much help. Gave us time to relax and enjoy our lunch.
Fantastic food and great service. Thank you!!
Fabulous guacamole & margaritas!!
A lovely and fun outdoor dining experience. We were late for our reservation and they were very kind to accommodate us.
Our server was attentive with keeping our water glasses full & inquiring if we needed more beer or chips with salsa. I had the chicken salad and my husband had the chicken burrito bowl. The food was very fresh & tasty! We always enjoy our means at Cocina Hermanas!
It was nice but the air conditioning must have been broken because it felt like 100 degrees inside.
This is a fun restaurant. Casual and low-key with friendly, attentive servers. Most of us had tacos which were small, but tasty. Their rice and beans are fine. We ordered guacamole and it was delicious. Two of us had the Sassy Senorita margarita which was spicy, but not too much. An overall enjoyable lunch and we’ll definitely return.
The food and service are fantastic! Can’t wait to go back again.
I really don't like writing bad reviews.
I don't know where the communication in our visit got lost but someone somewhere did not get the message that we were sat in their section or we were just purposely completely ignored. The three of us showed up five minutes late to our 2:15 reservation. We were sat outside in a section full of dirty tables. We watched those tables get cleaned, we watched other guest be sat, we watched other guest be waited on, and we watched the server in the section clean all the tables around us. However, we were never greeted after the host sat us and gave us the QR menu. I am not sure why the server cleaned tables around us and waited on guest around us, but after 32 minutes of not being acknowledged I started to wonder if it was because I was dining with two black people. We got up and walked out of the restaurant without any staff saying goodbye or even noticing that we had not been taken care of. We were completely disregarded from the moment we sat at that dingy table. We weren't even given water or napkins.
We've missed dining here during the pandemic, and were very happy to be back. The food is still the best, most fresh flavors. We were seated in the bar and the service was amazing...very attentive bartender (Devin), supported by an excellent wait staff, and a visit by the Executive Chef.
