Located at the Northwest corner of Culdesac, a beautiful and passionate walkable community in Tempe, Arizona. Cocina Chiwas is a chef driven Mexican Restaurant with delicious food, cocktails and an intoxicating atmosphere. Exciting menu with great tasting dishes! We liked the welcoming trendy vibe. The service was very attentive. But that stand out was the incredible food with tons of layers of flavor.

We’ve been here multiple times. The food is always great and usually super fast! We had the special, crab tostadas and the Carnitas tacos. Both were excellent. We also had cocktails which were great. The clarified coconut milk punch was unbelievable and perfectly balanced. We will continue to come back!

Incredible food as always. Service was a little slow tonight which is unusual. Cocktails outstanding, portions are massive. Truly one of our favorite restaurants. I love that there's un upscale feel but I don't feel uncomfortable bringing our toddler here (and he loves their cheese quesadilla).

A delicious style of Mexican food characteristic of a particular region in Mexico that we had not had before. Perfectly spiced, creative dishes that I would call “Mexican comfort food”. Service was great.

Lovely food presentation -- very tasty. We cook + eat out a lot. The menu is very complicated with many "unknowns".

We visited for Mother’s Day with a party of ten. We had a great time. Wonderful food and service. I had the menudo which was bomb! Definitely another awesome concept for the folks of Tacos Chiwas!
