Cobblestone Ratings and Reviews
Looking forward to the renovation I was disappointed in the closeness to the table placement. There was no space to walk between the tables to be seated. My chair touched the backs of people seated behind me. Decor was nice and pub like. Our quiche was just average and over baked. Nothing to brag about. Perhaps a different menu choice would have been better. Good service. Not in a hurry to run back.
Much better ambiance and menu than before the remodel! Food was good and appropriately priced. I ordered the skirt steak and fries and it was more of a steak frites dish. Steak was not sliced like skirt steak but temperature was perfect. I took a chocolate mousse cake home for dessert and it is big enough for 3-4 ppl. More cake than mousse and very yummy. Service was great!
This was our first visit.
Food, service and ambiance were all very good.
It was November, so the outdoor area was closed. However, it seems like a nice place to sit when the weather is good.
The reservation requested to know where we wanted to sit in the restaurant; Regular Table, High Table, Bar or Outdoor. That was a nice feature
Had a great dinner here last night! I had the the evening trout special which was outstanding! Heard they had a new chef and so surprised when Jeremiah Clarke came out to greet us. I had not seen him since his days at Plums. So happy he is back in town! Highly recommend dinner here!
Haven't been to Cobblestone for years and this was the first time for Lunch. The service was very good, the restaurant was not busy The three of us had the special soup, acorn squash, and it was delicious. One fish sandwich, very good and two guests shared the special pork tacos (3) They were just ok, not hot enough. I will return, other than the parking, it was a good experience.
The food was really good but not outstanding. Both me & my girlfriend and the trout. We were assured no bones and the very 1st bite I had a bone. Not what I expect from 5 star. Quite honestly the trout is better in many of the restaurants in Summit County CO. I expected more from them. The sides were great the service impeccable (I didn't tell them about the bones).
A bit noisier than we would have expected. Speakers from singer/musician were too loud in dining room area and other tables were extremely noisy next to us. Food was fine, but those with more traditional meal preferences felt there were few options for them on the menu.
We had a lovely evening out on the patio listening to live music. The food was good and unique. Their menu had just changed. I had the scallops and really enjoyed them. I would recommend this restaurant, especially the patio. It was really nice and relaxing. Doug Resendez was enjoyable and entertaining.
My boyfriend and I drove two and a half hours to visit my sister for her birthday. I've lived in Indy for a long time but never had the chance to get incredibly familiar with downtown Zionsville. She told me to pick a restaurant to take her to and I am so happy I chose Cobblestone. The service was spectacular and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The cozy and eclectic atmosphere of the outdoor patio on the side of the restaurant would have made it worth it even if the food wasn't anything to go home and write about in your journal; but it was! The spinach dip appetizer was mouthwatering and also the perfect size for 3-4 people. Although I could have eaten another order to myself if I weren't expecting a second round of potential deliousness that was their white fish filet sand which. My sister loved her salmon and my boyfriend cleared his plate of scallops. I feel bad for forgetting our server's name, bc she did not forget about our table even once. It was nice to not be bombarded by the waitstaff while eating, and also relieving to see her walk toward our table whenever we happened to need something. I give Cobblestone an A+ for everything. Thanks for having us for dinner on Friday, I can't wait to come back!
Love the atmosphere of Cobblestone in Zionsville and the service is excellent. Beer selection is fantastic but the food was just ok. The chicken wing lollipop appetizer had more fat than meat and the pie was hard and not what I expected as the My Sugar Pie that I have had previously has been delicious. Not sure what happened. The soup and burger were very tasty.
Our food was wonderful.... Duck tacos on corn tortillas, blackened fish tacos and tilapia sandwich. Great portion size also. The restaurant was rather empty inside, so I was surprised at how long it took our food to come out. However, the waitress was very friendly so we did not have any complaints.
Salad, Salmon and Wine was good; Shrimp Dish with spicy noodles was not...noodles and sauce old and dry! Major error IMHO that dinner bread is not available (Flatbread is on Appitizer menu?). I should have sent the Shrimp dish back but I was hungry and ate half. Wife hated the smushed peas that came with her Salmon!
An adequate experience but nothing really write about. Interesting menu and decor. We sent a note with our reservation asking to be seated outdoors. When we arrived and asked for outdoor seating, we were told awkwardly by the owner, I assume, outdoor seating was completely booked until 8:30 pm if we wanted to come back in 2.5 hours. A simple apology with that statement would have made us feel more welcomed as guests which we did not. We have no plans to return only because there are others restaurants in the Village.
Came to celebrate a friend's birthday. Server was very attentive and all orders came out as expected. The salad I had was very reasonably priced and very generous and super tasty. All the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend going to Cobblestone.
