Great nejborhood bar grill comfort food great service cozy feeling
Love everything about Cobblestone!
Something seems to be missing -- as an evening out, it seems rather blah. Food was good, but menu is very limited. Decor is a dull grey everywhere you look.
Splendid food and attentive service. Great drinks and beer options.
Great food and service tonight. Chef did a pre fixe menu for New Years. Wagu beef and sea bass both were excellent. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. A great time to ring in the New Year.
The staff are attentive and friendly ,food is very good, menu is limited to a few items
Our dishes were well-prepared and tasty. Not particularly innovative but good ingredients and simple preparations. The wine list was not particularly inspiring. Unfortunately, two at our table wanted the pork chop which they had, unfortunately, just run out of. The large table next to us had several of them.
Best beer menu around, great bar for eating great food and just chillin. Or having a date and listening to good music.
We were seated immediately. Our waiter did an excellent job and knew the menu extremely well.
There were 6 of us and all 6 of our meals were cold, unfortunately...the server told us the reason was because a party of 20 came into the bar. ?? The bar isnt even that big, lol. A new pork chop was brought out for my dad, but that was it. No one offered to replace or heat our other meals and no kind of discount was given. I pushed for my dad to get a hot pork chop because he is going through chemo and needs to eat. Another server brought us out some "French" pastries courtesy of the chef but no one thought they were that good anyway so that was kind of moot. :/ I used to LOVE Cobblestone Grill but feel like it's really changed since new ownership and I've been disappointed more than once. Its a great location and fabulous beer and wine list, but the menu needs some hard work.
Looking forward to the renovation I was disappointed in the closeness to the table placement. There was no space to walk between the tables to be seated. My chair touched the backs of people seated behind me. Decor was nice and pub like. Our quiche was just average and over baked. Nothing to brag about. Perhaps a different menu choice would have been better. Good service. Not in a hurry to run back.
We were in the back, by the outside door. It was soo cold! Drafty. Otherwise, a great evening!
Staff is always great. We enjoyed the evening, the food and the drink.
Much better ambiance and menu than before the remodel! Food was good and appropriately priced. I ordered the skirt steak and fries and it was more of a steak frites dish. Steak was not sliced like skirt steak but temperature was perfect. I took a chocolate mousse cake home for dessert and it is big enough for 3-4 ppl. More cake than mousse and very yummy. Service was great!
Made a 7pm reservation. Sat at a table for two in the bar area for 20 minutes without a single waiter bothering to greet me or take my order. I did get a glass of water from one of the support staff. Needless to say I left and ate elsewhere.
Everything was perfect for our casual dinner with friends. Their first time at Cobblestone and they were very pleased. All of us enjoyed the food presentation. Service was a 10.
This was our first visit.
Food, service and ambiance were all very good.
It was November, so the outdoor area was closed. However, it seems like a nice place to sit when the weather is good.
The reservation requested to know where we wanted to sit in the restaurant; Regular Table, High Table, Bar or Outdoor. That was a nice feature
Love the new food offerings. The wedge salad with chicken added was delicious and very fulfilling. Beautiful presentation and server was great. Very attentive and helpful regarding lunch options. Definitely will be back soon!
Had a great dinner here last night! I had the the evening trout special which was outstanding! Heard they had a new chef and so surprised when Jeremiah Clarke came out to greet us. I had not seen him since his days at Plums. So happy he is back in town! Highly recommend dinner here!
What a great staff they have gathered. Ambiance is spectacular. The food is always fantastic and they really do care about your needs
First time at Cobblestone and it was great. We were seated right away and my husband had a good view of one of the tv sets to see his favorite team. The food was tasty and nice portions. It was a very nice evening out celebrating an Anniversary.
My friend ordered the steak and I ordered the pork chop and we split the dishes. Both pieces of meat were prepared perfectly and the flavor was outstanding. But the real treat for my friend was her wedge salad.
Haven't been to Cobblestone for years and this was the first time for Lunch. The service was very good, the restaurant was not busy The three of us had the special soup, acorn squash, and it was delicious. One fish sandwich, very good and two guests shared the special pork tacos (3) They were just ok, not hot enough. I will return, other than the parking, it was a good experience.
Delicious salmon dinner. Did not like that they would not seat us on the patio although there were numerous empty tables. I guess you must request that when you make a reservation, which we did have. Decor inside is rather plain and stark.
Great meal and service, highly recommend the duck tacos and the scallops were amazing
The food was really good but not outstanding. Both me & my girlfriend and the trout. We were assured no bones and the very 1st bite I had a bone. Not what I expect from 5 star. Quite honestly the trout is better in many of the restaurants in Summit County CO. I expected more from them. The sides were great the service impeccable (I didn't tell them about the bones).
A bit noisier than we would have expected. Speakers from singer/musician were too loud in dining room area and other tables were extremely noisy next to us. Food was fine, but those with more traditional meal preferences felt there were few options for them on the menu.
Hands down the best meal I’ve had in quite some time.
It took one hour and fifteen minutes to get our dinner. The lettuce on the salad was wilted and my wife's dinner was cold when it finally arrived. We've had good meals here the past but tonight was very disappointing.
We had a lovely evening out on the patio listening to live music. The food was good and unique. Their menu had just changed. I had the scallops and really enjoyed them. I would recommend this restaurant, especially the patio. It was really nice and relaxing. Doug Resendez was enjoyable and entertaining.
My boyfriend and I drove two and a half hours to visit my sister for her birthday. I've lived in Indy for a long time but never had the chance to get incredibly familiar with downtown Zionsville. She told me to pick a restaurant to take her to and I am so happy I chose Cobblestone. The service was spectacular and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The cozy and eclectic atmosphere of the outdoor patio on the side of the restaurant would have made it worth it even if the food wasn't anything to go home and write about in your journal; but it was! The spinach dip appetizer was mouthwatering and also the perfect size for 3-4 people. Although I could have eaten another order to myself if I weren't expecting a second round of potential deliousness that was their white fish filet sand which. My sister loved her salmon and my boyfriend cleared his plate of scallops. I feel bad for forgetting our server's name, bc she did not forget about our table even once. It was nice to not be bombarded by the waitstaff while eating, and also relieving to see her walk toward our table whenever we happened to need something. I give Cobblestone an A+ for everything. Thanks for having us for dinner on Friday, I can't wait to come back!
Another great experience at one of our favorite local eats.
Great find. I had the stuffed chicken, it was delicious. Ambiance was great. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back soon!
Unfortunately, we aren't a fan of the new menu. The one pasta dish I love has been taken off as well as the bread. You look forward to going to a restaurant getting that favorite dish and we were bummed to see how much had changed.
Love the atmosphere of Cobblestone in Zionsville and the service is excellent. Beer selection is fantastic but the food was just ok. The chicken wing lollipop appetizer had more fat than meat and the pie was hard and not what I expected as the My Sugar Pie that I have had previously has been delicious. Not sure what happened. The soup and burger were very tasty.
Always have a great time at Cobblestone. Really dig their new decor and menu. Had fantastic service and enjoyed some live music. Great night!
Glad that the duck taco is back! Unfortunately mine was dry (over cooked).
Overrated. Service was slow. Weird vibe from the other patrons too; old people kept staring.
Was in Indianapolis for a quick trip and wanted a good brunch place to start the trip back to Chicago. Found this small gem in Zionsville. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the service, and the ambiance. Only had their brunch and would certainly recommend.
Food is fine, prices are high though for what you get.
