Incredible service and food. Coming back next wee for another amazing meal
Joined friends here for dinner and a good time was had by all. Our server was Storm and she was very attentive without being pushy or obnoxious while we were trying to visit. The food was good and prepared according to our special requests. Several menu items were a bit pricey, which we avoided, but the salads, burger and chicken sandwich were all delicious. The dining area was not large but it lends itself well to the small town feel of Zionsville. I would recommend reservations for peak times if you don't want to wait.
I had a very nice quiet dinner with a good friend. They seated us in a perfect area to visit. The service was excellent!
Arrrival at 12:30 - Ordered within 15 min - Out of Quiche - since we were out of town both looking forward to the quiche. That was the only downside.
Blake was a great server! We will ask for him every time. The fish tacos were delicious!
This was our first visit to Cobblestone and we will be back. Our server Alison was excellent and the food was very good.
We had an excellent waiter and food was great. I hadn’t been to Cobblestone for awhile but I will be back soon than later.
A quiet location with good food.
Like Cobblestone alot. Never had the grilled cheese before. Hardly any cheese, so sad! Everything else was great.
The food was delicious as usual. I highly recommend The Cobblestone.
We enjoyed ourselves Saturday night, our monthly gathering of long-time friends and foodies, at what we hope are excellent restaurants. Rave reviews from everyone, from the food to the ambiance, service, attention to details. We shall return. And no complaints about parking. (Except that googlemaps said the front door was in actuality, the back door!)
Pre show dinner , ladies night out, great fun and food. Ambiance updated since my last visit - steak and dessert were excellent .
We have some tricky food sensitivities/allergies and Cobblestone is always eager to help us work around them. The fellow who waited on us was extremely knowledgeable about the food on their menu and what it was made of. He was interesting and fun. Our food was delicious -- we each got the special, with minor substitutions to work around our food issues. And of course we always go for the smoked Old Fashioneds.
Our experience at Cobblestone was excellent. We were seated immediately at our reserved time. Our server was pleasant and attentive. His suggestions and explanation of the specials was very helpful to the enjoyment of the evening. Our beverages were well constructed exactly how we ordered them. The food, from the appetizers to the salads to the entrees, were delicious. The chef came out to greet us after we had finished dinner. We spent a very delightful, relaxing yet stimulating evening at Cobblestone.
The duck taco appetizer alone made our 2.5 hour drive more than worth it! The effort it takes to source local, clean product is apparent in the quality and taste of the finished products. While the duck tacos were my favorite appetizer, our party of 4 also enjoyed the chicken wings, truffle fries and charcuterie board. Our entrees included the pork medallion special, the glazed pork belly, and the sea scallops. All were excellent! Even though we were all stuffed, who can say no to dessert? The banana bread pudding, sugar cream pie, and vanilla bean creme brûlée were our favorites. The hazelnut chocolate torte was also very tasty, but very, very rich! Parking at 6:00 on a Friday night was a bit of a challenge, but we kind of expected that.
This is a great go to for brunch and dinner...consistently good and innovative; always something interesting. Great wine selections. cozy and homey. Great staff.
We really enjoyed our first experience! The lavender martini was amazing. We both got the chefs specials-salmon and mahi mahi. We also split the charred broccoli salad and a charcuterie board! We both appreciated the generous amount of crostini on the board. Our waitress was happy and very sweet. The ambiance was dim lighting and a romantic table for two. We will be back!
It was great, wonderful service for my work colleagues.
Michael was wonderful! Great server and such a friendly guy! He remembered what we drank and we hadn’t been there in 4 months!!! Service was great! The food was very good - my husband had the swordfish special and loved it! Always a place we return to when visiting family in Indianapolis!
Fantastic breakfast food!
Great food and service. Nice people and excellent value. Loud but probably can’t be helped.
Birthday celebration with 6 friends. Great food, great company, great time!
Michael was my waiter...he was excellent! Food was wonderful. I had the Liz’s Signature Salas with blackened chicken. So good!!! I’ll keep coming back!
Everything was wonderful, except for prices! Got a salad for $12 but adding chicken put my bill up $8!! This was not communicated to me when I ordered. It was also not noted on the menu how much extra it would be. Might be a good idea to make that more clear.
Lived in Zionsville and moved 13 years ago—-it is so wonderful to know that good food and a lovely atmosphere where we could talk easily with friends still exsists
Thanks so much for the wonderful comments Jan! We hope you can visit again some time. Kent & Liz
The seafood chowder and the salads were very good. The sea scallop entree was a major fail. The scallops were overcooked and the risotto was more like sticky rice. The chicken entrees featuring the risotto were also very dry. The sturgeon special was literally drowned in a battle of flavors that completely rendered the fish indistinguishable.
No return visit likely here.
Their filet mignon is just about as good as you can get anywhere!
Craig, We appreciate all the positive comments and are glad you enjoyed our filet! Kent & Liz
Chef Jeremiah Clark is an artist of flavors. We started our night off with the spicy shrimp, which where all cooked to perfection with a light but crispy exterior placed on top of a spicy aoli and scallion corn salad. The spice on this dish the right amount of heat with a punch of flavor that makes your taste buds beg for more. Next were the best truffle fries I have ever had. Most restaurants serve soggy fries with truffle oil drizzled on top, but not chef Jeremiah. The fries were crisp and packed full of a rich truffle flavor. These fries were perfect on their own, but chef Jeremiah took this dish to a whole nother level with the basil aoli. I could not get enough of this dish, which was well portioned, I had to fight the urge to pick the plate up and lick it clean. Next was the entrees, glazed pork belly and the smoked corned beef sandwich. The glazed pork belly melts in your mouth. This dish combines rainbow chard, shishito peppers, and port-cherry sauce with each bite of pork belly to create a meal that makes you forget all your worries and fall in love with food. The corned beef sandwich is heaven on Earth. Each bite you can taste the care that was taken to create this masterpiece (10 day brine and a 12 hour smoke). Last but definitely not the least can dessert, the banana bread pudding. Each bite of the dish created a memory I will never forget. This is a work of art, a beautiful banana bread topped with peanut butter gelato. The best bread pudding I have ever had. Chef Jeremiah Clark is a talented artist. His food allows you to escape from the stress of your day to day life and relax. It allowed me to take a step back and appreciate life and live in the moment. Cobblestone is by far my new favorite place to eat in the Indianapolis area. Thank you chef Jeremiah Clark for blessing us with your gifts as a talented food artist.
Wonderful food. Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. Patient wait staff.
Jeff, We appreciate your feedback! Kent & Liz Esra
Food is consistently tasty (if not particularly “healthy”). Parking today (Fri lunch) was nightmarish. Always make a reservation for popular times & leave time to circle around (and around) searching for a parking space when you get there.
Excellent lunch spot in beautiful Zionsville. Flavors and fresh food were spectacular!
Thanks so much!
Excellent meal and service
Perfect family birthday celebration! Thank you so much!
We were celebrating a birthday. We had an enjoyable meal and great service.
Family was in town for a wedding so we decided to meet here for brunch the morning after the wedding. Our waiter Michael was a nice guy and a good waiter but a bit too talkative for our taste. He tries a little too hard to be your new best buddy.
Love the outside courtyard for dinner. Food is always good and service as well.
As always, my experience was fantastic. Hilarious bartenders, impeccable waitstaff and overall the chill vibe are always top notch. Anytime anyone visits me from out of town, Cobblestone is my go-to. Smoked maple old fashioned is the best drink ever and the scallops are to die for.
I would try it again but the service was very slow.
We love sitting in the courtyard on a nice evening. The food is fantastic - this is our favorite restaurant in Zionsville
I’ve been dining at lunch at Cobblestone for many years now. I’ve never been crazy about the new decor as it feels rather stark instead of cozy as it used to feel, but it is what it is. Eating outside is still a delight, though. It’s one of the few places in the Indianapolis area that you can dine outside without being right next to a road or parking lot. Being snug between two old brick buildings with plants and gas lamps is such a treat!
My friend and I had the quatro grilled cheese. It turned out to have mostly goat cheese on it, but was okay. Truffle fries were okay. No pie from My Sugar Pie was available for dessert, which was disappointing. Service from Blake was good, as always.
I used to love the menu at this place. I honestly don’t love it in it’s new incarnation. I miss the penne Mediterranean pasta, and the ever changing quiches. I guess I’m not hip enough! I don’t want to downgrade my ratings, though, because restaurants need to change and I get that. (Maybe they could have a special “old fuddy. duddy” menu for those who preferred the former menu??) 😊
