Great Sunday brunch!
We took out-of-town family guests with us for our first visit. All had a good meal, the service was great and the desserts were worth saving a little room. I only eat dinner at restaurants that offer reservations.
For a quiet gathering of friends to talk, the patio is wonderful. Good food, a mild breeze, a chance to laugh and talk and share a meal - that's what Cobblestone is all about. Enjoy a leisurely repast: Liz's Signature Salad goes with everything or a steak, sandwich, pasta or sweet selection of appetizers. Relax and Enjoy. Perhaps the butterfly that joined us for the evening will join you, too. Can't wait to return.
We had a great dinner. The crab cake was delicious as was the pasta and steak. The only issue we had was that it started sprinkling and our table didn't have an umbrella.
Always outstanding food and the service can not be topped.
We highly recommend Cobblestone to our family, friends and anyone looking for a great dining experience !!
awesome ambience with a late summer evening dinner on the outdoor patio, relaxing jazz standards as the live musical accompaniment to the scrumptious menu offerings and friendly, efficient service
looking forward to a return visit on a sunny weekend morning to sample the brunch
The food and service are always top notch!
Good food, good menu, great service.
I ordered vegetable soup and was served spicy chicken noodle soup. My Cobb salad tasted like they used old bacon that had been heated in plastic. One friend thought her lunch was just OK. Another ate only her grilled cheese sandwich. My mom didn’t care for her lunch. For dessert, two of us ordered a little something. My mom ordered an Nutty Irishman which she told the server it didn’t taste like one. I ordered the Creme Brûlée that was equivalent to four bites and no flavor.
Very nice place to after brunch on a Sunday. If weather is nice sit outside.
Food was amazing! Service was great. Really enjoyed eating outside with the music. Music could get a little loud but otherwise it was great!!
Good food and a great evening. We would go back there again.
Great ambiance, great food and friendly, personable service! Definitely recommend!
Sat outside on a wonderful summer evening. We love their beautiful patio! Great service, great food!
Thank you for making our family dinner so special!
Had family in over the weekend and we chose to go to Cobblestone because we had great memories of the restaurant and the food from a rehearsal dinner almost four years ago. Four years ago it was drastically different; more of a family feel and a much larger menu. Although our food was good it was not as good as it was back then and the menu was so limited that we were all disappointed. The place was almost empty, yet it took a very long time to get our drinks so we ordered our food as soon as the drinks showed up afraid that the food would take as long as the drinks. The service did improve after we ordered and it went very well after that but probably won't go back.
Great vegetarian food, quaint outdoor patio, very good service. We had a great experience.
For a Saturday evening event, it was perfect! Great food, great service, really good live music, wonderful atmosphere, seating outside on a perfect August evening.
Always fabulous and love their specials!
Had a wonderful brunch in the side courtyard of Cobblestone, which has beautiful gardens throughout. I like that during their Brunch Hours you are ordering from a menu which includes a good amount of both breakfast and lunch options by the plate (this is not a buffet). The food was very good and our waitress Brigitte (sp?) made us feel comfortable and took good care of us. The BananaFoster French Toast was delicious, but could have used more bananas. Everything else was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful experience enjoying brunch in the outdoor patio. Great food and lovely garden atmosphere.
Food and service was excellent! Nice to be in a place where you can carry on a conversation without having to compete with the noise.
We had our parents 50th wedding anniversary dinner on the patio which was amazing everything. Was great except the food. Out of the 9 of us, 4 had a dinner that had a risotto base and all plates had severely undercooked risotto. We complained but nothing was done about the food for us as it was inedible. The server was nice but a little overwhelmed. We also let management know when we placed the reservation this was a special anniversary dinner and nothing was done for us by way of a desert or acknowledgement.
We love the atmosphere of the patio. Hidden garden atmosphere is charming.
Great place for dinner when in the Zionsville, Indiana area! We have family living in Noblesville so we now make it a point to have dinner at Cobblestone every time we visit them. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. Our server - so sorry but I don't remember his name - was quite knowledgeable on the preparation methods, very entertaining and a really pleasant guy! We all had something different - the flat iron steak was a big hit as was the salmon. I had the burger and it was excellent! We shared a chocolate dessert among the 5 of us and it was more than enough and very good. This place is a real neighborhood gem and one that we will definitely frequent each time we head to Indiana!
My husband and I love the outdoor eating here. We have always experienced great food and service each and every time we have come here!
Delicious brunch! The eggs benedict was especially good.
Our server, Bridget, was just fabulous--welcoming, kind, had good suggestions at hand. She was one of those who is attentive without being overly so. Our drinks were great and promptly served, as was the truffle-fries appetizer--YUMMY! The best part of the experience however, was the food. It so exceeded our expectations. Beautiful on the plate and wonderfully full of taste, cooked to perfection. This was our first visit and we hope it's not too much longer before our next. Oh, and we very much appreciated the sourcing of local food products!
Only concern: it is quite a dark dining room and the lightbulbs used are hard on the eyes at times.
Great place for lunch. Unique takes on standards. Michael is a great server. The owners and kitchen care that you are happy.
Great drinks great service and great food. Will be back for sure.
I have been coming to Cobblestone for many years and can't believe this is the first review that I have written on it. It is a neighborhood gem with great food and great ambience. The owners, Kent and Liz, and fantastic and friendly and the current chef, Jeremy, is outstanding. The menu offers a lot of classic cuisine that have a very creative twist. I have had most of the items on the menu so it's hard for me to pick out just a few favorites as I like almost all of them. The wait staff is amazing and cordial. They have a huge draft beer list and a nice collection of many bourbons and scotches. It's a place where out-of-towners come to have a special meal and locals to come and hang out.
Awesome service. Michael is the best!
My wife and I met here on our first date 4 years ago. We go back every year on the same date to celebrate. The restaurant always reserves our same table in the courtyard. The food and service are excellent and everyone on the staff seems to be very welcoming and appreciate that you are there. The scallops are up there with the best I've ever eaten.
The food and service were great! There were a lot of bugs out on the patio - swarms of gnats that unfortunately took away from the beautiful ambiance
We had a reservation for the patio but they only had a table without an umbrella. We ended up sitting inside which worked out best because our server Michael was amazing!! If we could give him 10 stars we would!! My husband had the New York Strip and I had the Corned Beef. They were both delicious. We were given a banana bread pudding dessert for my birthday with a candle on top. It was amazing as well. We will be coming back as this place is fantastic! You can tell the Chef cares about his food and the service here is top notch. Thank you Michael and the rest of the staff for a great birthday!!!
It was our first time there. Very nice atmosphere inside. Good crowd for a Thursday night. Two of us had burgers - ordered medium but were definitely overdone. Still tasted yummy. Chips came with it and were very good. Not spicy at all. Friend ordered pasta and said all the flavors went together beautifully. Her husband had smoked corned beef sandwich and said YUM with every bite. Michael W was our server - very attentive and knowledgeable. Beer tap list was incredible! Tried a few new ones!
We were visiting family in Indianapolis when a friend recommended her brother's restaurant in Zionsville - Cobblestone. It was terrific! The staff was very welcoming and the food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their selections and joined the "empty plate club"! We will definitely return on our next visit!
Outstanding food and ambience. We have a favorite server too. Karen is awesome.
Eggs were cold as was the waffle. Husband’s order was delivered wrong.
Brunch on a rainy Saturday morning was very quiet. The eggs benedict were delicious and hamburgers are large and juicy. Will definately be back.
Service and ambiance are excellent. We sat outside. The food is mediocre. My risotto was lukewarm and my salmon was just OK. They have a great selection of beers on draft, but their wine selection is very small. That seemed to be the sentiment of our friends as well. This seems to be the norm. I wish the food was better.
