Absolute beautiful view for our 25th wedding anniversary and the food was delicious
Four Seasons should take a good look at their premiere restaurant on property. Ambience and the views are amazing, setting for a fabulous dining experience. That’s where it stops. Service was unorganized, multiple servers who all told us the same thing, drink specials to entree specials, reading thru their notes , unprepared and a bit raffled. Food was just ok.
Dress code, per the restaurant “ smart casual”... not so much. We saw everything from T-shirt’s, flip flops, and baseball hats. If management wants to provide a high end restaurant then step it up. Just disappointed overall especially since the cost for two was pricey. Next trip will walk down the beach for dinner.
Excellent place for sunset dinner over beautifully designed terrace.
The setting is second to none, but the food was disappointing. Coba has been out least favorite food on the hotel property and yet it is the most expensive. Two of us ordered the chicken and it was very overcooked.
The food was very good, as was the service and atmosphere. One note I will make is about the tablet/iPad used to order drinks. While I love the idea, the execution wasn’t great, as I wasn’t able to customize any drinks or order off-menu - so we ended up having to order from our server anyway.
Serivice was great. Waitress was very knowledgeable about the food. The food was extremely expensive and not good. Not flavorful and exciting as I would expect. Drinks were not good. Not craft cocktails at all. View was beautiful
Everything was excellent. Definitely a must when on island.
Had a great
Atmosphere is amazing. Off season so staff seemed sparse decently but not as well trained as they should be when they showed up .They kept coming around on strange sides and reaching over and across us which is a no no because it’s so intrusive of personal space plus not proper training .Staff were a bit inattentive for such a nice restaurant and certainly didn’t represent as well as other Four Seasons .We didn’t know who was supposed to be out waiter or waitress random people kept showing up .Food was good but not at level it should be for Four Seasons .Dessert was however good .
What a great restaurant inside a beautiful hotel/resort- Four Seasons! The view of the sea was unbelievable! Food was delicious but the service was impeccable and professional! We had enjoyed our first dinner there so much; we returned back to the restaurant a day later.
Food preparation and presentation was excellent. Service started as very good but quickly deteriorated. Starters were bought out and explained. Bread selection was placed/dumped on table with various butters with no explanations. Mains were placed and "Brad" ?? quickly disappeared never (basically) to be seen again. Table next to us had concerns with the Risotto main and was told that's the way it was. Our meal consumption was clearly finished but server was no where to be seen. Flagged down other staff in restaurant and asked where "Brad??" was - answer, after looking around, was 'I don't know'. And so it went. Okay service, maybe, for some places but so very far from Four Seasons service. Lots more training and attention to detail is needed. There was no one with eyes on the restaurant and what was and wasn't being done, the see all without drawing attention to the patrons. In all honesty spring 2018, after Irma, was better than it was this May 2019. Major disappointment at Coba. As an aside, the Sunset Lounge was excellent but our server had recently arrived on Island. Even while she was waiting on us you could see her looking around at the other tables to see what was needed. Not so, sadly, at Coba. Will try once more next year then...
Way over priced for quality of food
Stunning views! We booked a 6PM table so that we could watch the sunset and it was spectacular. This was the backdrop to a memorable evening. The service was amongst the friendliest and most personable that I can recall at any restaurant. We were staying at another resort and it was clear that the staff took a great deal of pride in The Four Seasons. Brad and Shaniece were real standouts in this way. They really helped make the evening. The food was pricey but excellent. I had grilled lobster which was quite expensive but very high quality and my wife's crab cake was delicious with minimal breading and lots of tasty crabmeat. The wine list was varied with a mix of reasonable and expensive choices. Deserts were excellent to match. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Outstanding in every way. I would recommend to everyone who enjoys excellent food and atmosphere. Service was top notch.
Being from NYC, we expected more.Food and service was just okay, expected more for the price. Wait staff Never offered us the extra like fresh, ground pepper or grated cheese and wine steward Spilled wine while pouring. Only positive was that we received ride back to main beach strip in golf cart but given the cost of dinner my husband expected it!
Excellent food and service to match!
Excellent meal! We truly enjoyed the entire dining experience.
Very disappointing! We were looking forward to it. We expected at Four Seasons we’d have a great dining experience .
Including good service and delicious food. Unfortunately neither of those occurred . The restraunt itself was beautiful.
However only 2 or 3 tables were full. Seeing that we expected excellent service, from start to finish, which we did NOT receive.
After ordering appetizers, we waited 30 mins for them to arrive. They had to be sent back as they were cold and undercooked.
They returned them after another 20 mins. .Our Lobster cakes were still inedible , all breading with a mushy texture.
We sent them back. We expected our entrees to arrive in a timely manner. After waiting another 45 mins, with no food in sight, we left
Upset and hungry.. they ended up charging us for the Lobster cakes even though they were inedible .
Nothing like any of the Four Seasons that we’d ever been to.
Coming from NJ/NY, everything was outstanding! Too bad we tried it second to our last night. Being said, we will be spending our last night there as well! Great wine list by the glass, excellent food, attentive and knowledgeable service. Can’t go wrong here.
What a magical experience! I would highly recommend Coba to anyone looking for a gorgeous evening.
Great service excellent food location is outstanding and the experience was one of a kind
A most impressive meal. Inventive presentations. Service was exceptional. Location is glorious.
Service was very confused!
We had to ask to be served several times!
Coba is an exquisite restaurant – one of my all-time favorites. It never disappoints. If you travel to Anguilla this has to be a destination. Expensive but worth it!
Impeccable service, creative food and presentation!
First , the hotel grounds are beautiful and the ambience for the restaurant is fantastic but that is where is ends. The foods is very average here . I would expect more for a place touted to be a five star resort . I ordered salmon med rear is was grossly over cooked 200.00 for two people with one drink each and a salad again the place is beatiful but grossly over priced for the quality of food
Coba was an absolute delight! We had relatively early reservations (6:30 in late June), so the sun was still a bit strong when we first sat down. However, the sunset closer to 7:00 was spectacular. The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
Wife's birthday celebration with family
We took our friends here for an anniversary dinner and it was spectacular.
The setting overlooks the Caribbean Sea and the setting is modern, calm and relaxing.
Our server Kris was very polite, efficient and friendly and was a great ambassador, telling us about the menus and special offers. His timing was relaxed (not rushed) and we enjoyed the 2 hour dinner as we were on vacation and we weren't in any rush.
The ceviche was perfectly seasoned and served chilled with ample servings and the taste was outstanding.
We all had the grilled seafood (3 snapper and one mahi mahi) and all 4 of our enjoyed it very much.
The prices are high here, but it is expected giving the high quality of service, food and the outstanding location.
The atmosphere was great, the food was superb but we ordered a bottle of wine and waited over 25 minutes for it. We finally tracked down someone to get our wine which explained our server had gotten sick so the transition was missed. Our food arrived right after we got the wine. They apologized and comped desert but missed the boat with what could have been an outstanding experience.
This is an exquisite, breathtaking restaurant. Truly worth getting there before sunset and asking for a seat overlooking the waves breaking on the rocks beneath you. Food was beautifully prepared and plated with an emphasis on local fish and ingredients. Four Season standard of service is evident and while still, somewhat, a work in progress, is attentive without being intrusive. So much better than it was under previous hotel management. The wine list is presented on an iPad which was new to us but, after our initial uncertainty, is a great way to do this item. So much easier to keep current. Will definitely go back on our next visit. We loved the whole evening.
Great meal with a phenomenal view. Friendly staff. Best swordfish I've had. New York Strip was delicious
It took over 25 minutes to get our bottle of wine, and that is only because we flagged the waitress down and asked. The table next to us sat down and ordered their wine and had it within 5 minutes. Our waitress did not go over the wine list, any specials and didnt seem to care that we were there because she had a large table that sat before us. Horrible experience for the price and for being at the four seasons.
Great restaurant on the island. Local chef.... creative and the dishes were fantastic. Best meal
I've had in a while
We dined with an 8 year old at Coba and were impressed. The view is spectacular and because they are in a hotel, dining with children is easy. We loved the snapper, ceviche, and risotto. You can also enjoy a drink at the Four Seasons' wonderful Sunset Bar before or after the meal.
Overrated. The ambiance is lovely and great spot to watch the sunset but the food was mediocre. I have dined at some of the best restaurants around the world and this was a complete let down. Their take on the Caprese is close to bad. The grilled octopus would have been good if they did not over salt it or burn it. The conch chowder was good but not a wow or one to write home about. Hit the bar for a drink at sunset and skip the food.
Great food, service and atmosphere. All spectacular.
Great dinner with my husband. Enjoyed the view and the chef's specials.
What a magnificent dining experience.
