Our server, Dallas, was great.
We had dinner reservations for 6:45 and we didn’t leave the restaurant until somewhere between 8:45 and 9. It’s not a large room so I can’t understand the reason for the delay in our food. The first server ask us for our order 3 times. Then spilled water while she was pouring it into our glasses. We never saw her again. Two other servers were waiting on us but they too had their wires crossed. What ever we asked for - bread or wine took an extraordinarily long time to arrive. It was so unusual that we had to laugh. We didn’t think service like this could be possible in a popular venue such as this. Also, I thought that the price of my entre’ was expensive for 4 medium size shrimp and fish that I ordered. It was the Cioppolini. The waitstaff was so friendly and they tried their best but I say it’s a thumbs down for me.
Valentine’s Day. Waitress great-stuck by kitchen door-noisy.
It was Christmas Day, there was no indication on the reservation that this part of the Wild Dunes Resort. Very limited lunch menu. For a place named Coastal Provisions, you would assume there was more seafood on the menu than she-crab soup. The service was great, but not even ice in your water glasses? Overpriced and disappointing.
As usual, our server, Dallas, made our night very enjoyable.
Food was absolutely delicious and well presented. My husband had the beef Wellington which he says was marvelous and i gad the slow cooked grouper- perfect. Our server Dallas was delightful and attentive. All in all a great dining experience.
We have visited the restaurant 3 times during our trip this week. Each visit has been amazing. The service and food are both excellent.
The atmosphere and service were good, but the food was mediocre. We both had the filet, and were both disappointed. Very tender, but flavorless. Not worth the price.
We were one of 2 tables in the dining room. Lots of people had apparently cancelled as a result of Hurricane Florence
Great service and conversation. The food is always delicious and cooked to perfection. Reservations are highly recommended during high volume times of year.
It took 60 minutes to get our appetizers. Another 30 minutes for our food. The place was loud - too loud to talk. Server was great but everything was just too slow
Great service but like many other things at Wild Dunes, a bit overpriced. When looking at menu, most entree prices were a little high, but be careful when asking about the butcher's cut. The evening we went it was chateaubriand and we paid $65/each for a plate of small beef medallions. Fried Green tomatoes were good but the grilled broccolini was inedible.
In summary: great service, good wine list but food was honestly average at those prices.
Our waitress Megan made sure that we had everything we needed. From the 8oz steak to the Shrimp -n-Grits every single thing was amazing and sooooooo flavorful! I would definitely eat here again.
Beautiful restaurant, but for the price food should be much better.
A somewhat limited menu, but the restaurant was great otherwise. Good for kids. The nearby boardwalk is great. Good service
Perfect place for dinner after a long drive to Wild Dunes if you don’t want to leave the resort. Good food and good service. Typically not crowded during the week
Excellent food. Very professional service.
A little expensive for what you get but overall a nice dining experience. Our waiter was really good.
This was our second time to visit. Service improved significantly over our first dinner.
Great meal and great service. So glad to see this place back to high standards. Have been coming here for years and last 2 or 3 years it was less than good. Chef and team keep it going!
Great food and great service
Food was tasty, especially steak. However prices were exorbitant and portions were small. Service was excellent.
Lovely outdoor dining with good service. Unfortunately, the recommended greens salad with mahi mahi did not meet my expectations in either size, flavor or cost as it was not listed that it was an additional $14 compared to other added proteins less than half that price. I may consider returning but, would make a different selection for sure.
The choice of entrees was diverse. We ordered the oysters which were great and fresh. The dinner selections were great as well. Where we were disappointed was the cocktails....they tasted delicious but the price was extremely high. 4 people in our party got a margarita with don Julio silver and they ended up being $22 a glass. That’s the most expensive drink I have ever had and that’s comparing to NYC and Chicago.
We had wonderful attentive service. We ordered breakfast from the menu. The eggs and hash browns were cooked to perfection. The beignets were excellent!!! I would highly recommend Coastal Provisions for Sunday breakfast.
Great food, excellent atmosphere
Great food, beautiful location, great service but a bit pricey in my opinion.
Wait staff was excellent. Menu limited, off season, but food very tasty.
The food was very good and our server did a great job.
We were staying at Wild Dunes so it was nice to be able to walk to the Boardwalk Inn and dine at Coastal Provisions. The manager, our waitress and all staff were very friendly and accommodating! The food was delicious, but the portions were small for the price. Small portions are great, but not at $32. The dining area was beautiful and comfortable!
Way over priced. Hardly any selections, out of items, waitress gave us bill and never came back. I had to write my room number (it’s a lobby restaurant in a hotel) on the bill. No tip.
Our host & server Dominic was great. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon, and we were literally the only 2 people in the dining room. That was fine by us, we loved the quiet and the extra attention. Overall a great first experience! Thanks Coast Provisions
A resort restaurant, food was very expensive for portions and was not as good as off resort restaurants.
Disappointing experience at Coastal Provisions. Went for Restaurant Week, and menu choices were pretty poor. Then had to deal with poor service, cold food and nearby table who decided to drink their dinner (may have been better choice, based on our dinners). Won’t return
The service was very good. Small restaurant so definitely make a reservation. Worth the drive. The decor is modern and welcoming.
We went to take advantage of Restaurant Week and glad we did as it’s a very pricey restaurant otherwise.
We were vacationing at Wild Dunes and figured we’d eat at the resort restaurant one night, however it was nothing like a typical resort/hotel meal. Everything was absolutely fabulous. The decor was very pretty - updated and stylish, and the food as well as the service was outstanding. There were six of us and we all loved our apps, salads and entrees. I’d highly recommend it.
We celebrated our anniversary with a fantastic dinner. The service was superb and the oysters were fresh and delicious. The venison chops and halibut were wonderful and the bread pudding was amazing!
Coastal Provisions is the main restaurant at the Wild Dunes Resort. Had an excellent dinner . Baby kale salad, Brussels sprouts and 8 oz filet were all great.
Breakfast was also excellent.
Service was very attentive and helpful.
Would definitely recommend.
