The best double pork chop in Orange County! Although it's also available on the lunch menu, we only eat this dish for dinner because the restaurant only offers a "loaded" baked potatoes at dinner time. The chop come lightly bathed in a delicious fig sauce. The kitchen knows exactly how to cook this thick beauty, so just let do their thing.

Although we normally have the crabcakes, we decided to try the cioppino. We both enjoyed the dish. My 91-year-old father especially enjoyed the cioppino and has been talking about going back ever since. I am sorry that I do not recall the name of our server as he was really wonderful. We always get the smoked trout dip which we enjoy every time we visit.

This is the best restaurant in Orange County hands-down! Every dish was exquisitely prepared and left us licking our plates! Such an amazing ambience and beautiful restaurant. Every waiter and staff had a smile on their face and anticipated/tended to every need. The drink selection was superb. We can’t wait to come back! We even got to meet the owners who were incredibly nice and you could tell they genuinely loved what they do.

Amazing food! We had an outside table close to a heater and were very comfortable! This whole experience and the outstanding food was so amazing we’re going again tonight! Exceptional Hawaiian ribeye and compari tomato with feta or mozzarella was incredible. Also key lime pie - yummy!

Way too noisy (the scale here is confusing; I wanted to give that the lowest rating). Wait staff were knowledgeable & attentive. Food very good. I’d prefer to have a written dessert menu to consider choices (it’s only by waiter telling you).

The food was delicious. It was well prepared and flavorful! We ordered the golden brown bread rolls dalloped with the yummy green butter sauce. I ordered the fresh tomato salad with the fresh soft mozzarella and the ahi tuna and perfectly fried cauliflowers! My hubby ordered the 72- hour marinated Hawaiian Rib eye steak medium that melted in our mouth! Dessert was the recommended decadent but not too sweet or tart key lime pie. Location is off the busy street and really has no view other than the busy street.

Price’s went up and quantity of food went down Order a rack of ribs, and only half a rack shows up And the french fries that came with it Musta had a child take a little handful and put them on my plate Really at least wow the customers with a nice portion of fries due to the fact of the food cost being so little with them

Lovely place for lunch in Dana Point. Would’ve given five stars but there was a small mistake made with the order so my mother had a delay in getting her food. Good service solved the problem pretty quickly. Food was very good. crab cake salad, cioppino and Ahi tacos. Yum

We always order the double cut pork chop and it’s delicious. Our guests had the halibut which was excellent as well as the baby back ribs. We’ll definitely be back.

Always good food. Sometimes great food. I tried the Cajun shrimp the other night for the first time. Really good but for me the dish would have been spectacular if it came with grits as opposed to rice. A choice would be great… Wish the fried chicken would make it back to the menu!

The prime rib sandwich was good but the fried Caesar chicken salad was not good. The chicken was over cooked and the salad was not good. The dressing was not good and the lettuce was warm and wilted. We should have said something. The shrimp cocktail was delicious. We will try it again. That was the first time it was not as good as other times we have been there. Nancy and Norman Lindauer

Lovely ambiance, good service, excellent food. My favorite is the crab cake salad and as usual it did not disappoint. This is one of our go to places--it's a great place to go with friends--besides good service, food and ambiance, you can actually have a conversation without shouting. One of my favorite places in Dana Point.

We shared a $13.00 house started salad and were startled by how small it was. the size of the salad was consistent with the size of every item. just right for one person and nothing to take home. The food was like the service good, not exceptional. I think they shoot the drinks as the tended to be almost weak. Nothing was bad, everything was just enough to be good enough. You don't leave dissatisfied, but you won't tell your friend they absolutely must go to Coastal Kitchen.
