Birthday with family.

Perfect setting for girls get together...wine, dinner and good conversation

My wife had wild Georgia fried shrimp with fries and slaw, she said it was delicious. I had the category five sandwich, it consists of cathead biscuits, bacon, homemade sausage, gravy, eggs and delicious cheese and hash browns. I really liked it. We had a great table overlooking the river and the sail boats. Restaurant is clean and the service is excellent, Liz, our server was friendly and helpful with the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant and visiting St. Simons Island.

Could do a better job of social distancing. Adjacent tables were close and packed. Should skip tables.

Had a delicious New Year's Eve meal at Coastal Kitchen. Our server, Lainey, was great and helped make our meal even better. Loved the crab claw appetizer and raw oysters. The shrimp and scallop dish was fantastic and the grouper special with hoppin john was great too. Lainey was very helpful with accommodating a couple food intolerances/allergies. Thanks for a great meal to ring in the new year!

The staff was very friendly and the view was beautiful. Could have added bread or a side with the Lobster ravioli. The shrimp was delicious. Dessert was fabulous.

From the greeting we received the moment we walked in the door, I knew it was going to be a good night. Dalton was courteous and attentive. The blue crab claws were tasty, the shrimp and grits was creamy and full of shrimp.

Wonderful experience on Christmas Eve. Our server was so thoughtful and kind to our toddler and engaging. She was bubbly and friendly. Our orders were accurate and outstanding. Best swordfish I’ve ever ordered!! Wonderful beer list as well. View was top notch. 1000 stars deserved!

Our first visit to the restaurant after reading the menu on line. More than exceeded our expectations!

The varied menu (with legitimate options for our vegetarian) made us chose Coastal Kitchen for our dinner the other night. Covid-safe dining out on their deck. Great waiter - Keenan, was attentive, knowledgeable and fun. Oysters, shrimp, swordfish were all hits. Pecan pie was clear dessert winner, and the wines by the glass menu had something for everyone. Really enjoyed this dinner.

Very delicious food. However, no bread was offered or brought to the table, and when an entree is $28, with no salad included, a basket of rolls would be nice.
We ate outside on a warm night. Patio heaters would not have been adequate if it had been any cooler. A candle on the table would have been nice.

Overall it’s not bad yet it should not advertise itself is fine dining because that is a misnomer

It is a great seafood place however he cannot fall into the category of fine dining or high-end dining and cuisine it does not meet the criteria for that at all

Fabulous find on St. Simons. Very good menu and the food was excellent.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. The setting is very nice, we sat outside looking at the marina, and it's beautiful. The food was fine, nothing remarkable. The service was subpar to say the least. Coffee and water was never refilled. Food order came out wrong, had to flag down the waiter (they have a food runner, the server doesn't deliver the food), sent it back, it came out different, but still wrong. I was frustrated so I just ate it and we left. Might go back but probably just for drinks.

The food was great, we were both very pleased. We experimented with the drinks at first, but the lemonade and bourbon drinks were overpowered by the mint, so we didn't enjoy them. That's just a personal preference though, I don't think they were made wrong. Our waitress quickly got us another drink that we enjoyed much more, so we were pretty happy. My only real complaint would be that the bartender muddled some fruit into my old fashioned and you're not supposed to do that, it only gets an orange peel, but that could just be me nitpicking.

Lovely setting and great food! All the meals were pretty as well as delicious.

Average food & below average wine, above average prices. Poor lighting and acoustics. A very annoying high pitched sound from the dish washing machine throughout the meal. Not a pleasant dining experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner here, the lobster ravioli was excellent as was the wine selection. We sat outside and enjoyed the view too. Service was great, staff was very friendly.

A huge disappointment in every way. Walked past dirty tables to table. Furnishings are worn out and need an update. Unprofessional server and no mention of daily catch special. We did observe the hostess cleaning tables. The food was not attractively arranged on a plate but more like a cafeteria presentation. Vegetable risotto was inedible. Ravioli did not have any lobster and the sauce was overwhelming the dish. The cocktails were not good either- a super sweet old fashion and a skinny margarita. We have been here thru the years but I would say the experience did not measure our previous experiences at all.

Great place to stop at if you're en route to another destination. Food is fantastic and you have a great view.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and it has always provided superb service by cordial staff with excellent food. This visit was no different.

I loved our meals and drinks at Coastal Kitchen!! I have never had a bad meal there! The service was awesome and the waitress was so observant that she saw a greeting card and asked if it was someone’s birthday- when we told her it was our 19th anniversary she said our desert was on them! Everything was lonely and we will absolutely be back!

Mother daughter get away

It was our first visit to the area and this place had excellent reviews, so we headed there for brunch. I had the smoked salmon and goat cheese omelet and a bottomless strawberry Mimosa. My husband had an enormous chicken and waffle concoction. Service was excellent and so was the view!

Love the Gumbo!
