This open-air restaurant is great for those who want to enjoy a cool ocean breeze as they eat their meal or sip on a cold beer or cocktail. Speaking of drinks, Coastal Flats specializes in mojitos, the cool mint drinks with several different variations. Coastal Flats specializes in seafood, but that is by far the only thing the only thing they have. Diners will find all kinds of ribs, beef, chicken and pasta plates here as well. However, most people come for the fresh seafood. The most popular dishes served at Coastal Flats tends to be the jumbo lump crab cake, crispy fish tacos with habañero slaw and sautéed shrimp & creamy grit cakes with Smithfield ham, roasted corn, asparagus, peppers, sweet onion and Cajun cream.

Frequently stuck going here on business lunches. Service is generally slow and there are Zero vegan options. It would be great if they could add one thing that doesn't have meat, cheese and/or egg in it.
