    Like always, the food and service at Coastal was outstanding. My one caveat is to avoid an outside table that is not well tucked under the awning. We had a 6pm reservation and by 6:45, we were roasting. We should have asked to be moved but given that we were near the end of our meal, we sweated it out and paid our check as quickly as possible. This is not Coastal's fault- just a heads up to other diners.

    Although the view of the lake from the restaurant patio was quite lovely, the food was not exceptional. Our waiter, Reagan, seemed distracted the whole time and put in the wrong order for my wife. Correction of this mistake took an additional 20 minutes, during which time my food became cold. We were offered a free soup while we waited, which we declined. We did accept the offer of a free dessert at the end of the meal, but the whole experience was unfortunate.

    As usual, the view was wonderful. After being promptly seated, our server was at our table to fulfill any request. Drinks, appetizers, and our main courses were served in a timely manner. All dishes were well presented and expertly prepared. More important, they were really good. I highly recommend this establishment for any special occasion or just to get some really good food.

    acoustics made conversation difficult. shrimp diabalo with no pasta. menu did not list any pasta, just surprised. shrimp way overdone, think rubber. will wait a while to return
