table was outside of regular dining area, when many tables were available in the outdoor area. Felt like we were not welcome, had reservations, had drink and left.

I've been to the restaurant in this hotel many times years ago, and I was in town again with friends so decided to try it again. I was not disappointed. This is almost like a hidden gem because it is not in the crazy tourist areas along the beach. It was a Saturday night and we easily got reservations for outside seating. A fantastic ocean view and breeze. Lovely modern decor. Great wine list. Free parking in the hotel garage with validation in restaurant. Decent service, and the food was fantastic! Definitely a favorite restaurant and can't miss for the area.

Outdoor seating available “on a first come first serve basis” as stated on opentable is a lie. When we arrived 75% of outdoor seating was open, yet waiter would not allow us to sit outside. Even when we finished our dinner there were tables outside that still were not used.

The food here was absolutely amazing! The scallops were beautifully prepared and a great portion as well and the margarita pizza was delicious. We were here for Valentine’s Day so we were able to order a special dessert as well, some sort of fruity pebble shake. It was great. The only issue we had was that service was a bit slow, but that was probably due to the holiday. Nonetheless, this restaurant is amazing and I was highly pleased!

The location is beautiful with gorgeous ocean views. We were seated right away to our choice of area. Everyone was lovely and helpful. I ordered an omelette which I thought was just average. The bottomless brunch mimosas is an excellent value. Overall I was happy with the experience just wish my food had been better.

Would not seat us outside as ‘there were no tables’. Plenty of empty tables the entire time we were there. At least half were open and unused.

Amazing view of the ocean if you’re sitting outdoors, great spot to people watch and the food was amazing! Wasn’t sure what to expect. Generally restaurants in touristy areas don’t have the best food. Was pleasantly surprised. My fiancé and I both loved our meals. We went for brunch on a Sunday afternoon (12:15) it’s inside the Atlantic hotel and was able to sit outside no problem and put our luggage right next to us. He had a bacon cheeseburger with an egg and I had the avocado toast with 2 over easy eggs and potatoes. The service was good as well. She repeated our orders back to us which is great. Nothing worse than getting your meal and it’s wrong. Can’t wait to go back!

Food was amazing and not that expensive. While the bar can get loud we did have a separate area in the restaurant which helped.

Overall, the restaurant was great. However, I wish that the outdoor seating was in better condition. The seat cushions were a little dirty in my opinion. But the food was great and the Bellini’s were so yummy! Awesome restaurant for Brunch and Lunch with a stunning view of FTL Beach.

We took my parents for their anniversary. Had been many times when it was Beauty and The Feast. Food was not as good even though menu looked similar. Cheese board was overpriced for Swiss cheese and a few slices of deli salami. Service was good. There was a gentleman that I think was the manager that came over to make sure we knew the 18% gratuity had been added. Definitely appreciated that. My only complaint is that I advised the server that my son has severe nut allergies- he brought desert for the table. He assured us that there were absolutely no nuts but then described the icecream as Nutella. ?!?! I had to tell him that Nutella is made from nuts.

When in Lauderdale at the beach, we always stay at the Atlantic Hotel and Spa, the restaurant Coastal in the hotel always has great service and great food and cocktails, awesome menu choices. If you are in the area, you have to treat yourself.

A pitiful attempt at a dinner that was supposed to impress! It was New Year’s Eve the night of celebrations and our dining experience was a huge let down. From poor organization, we not seated until 45 minutes after the start of the seating, to lack of food presented on the menu. We actually had to ask for food on numerous occasions. My wife didn’t get any entree until after 11pm. Poor management, poor staffing and just an all around poor night. Shame on you.

This was always our go-to Sunday brunch when in town however it’s no longer the amazing brunch they used to have. It’s still good and service is still great, everything is now a la carte now. You can still get bottomless drinks for @$18. It’s just no longer the place we must go or will plan our trip around (used to be that good!)

My parents waited the table for 30mins then went to the buffet, while waiting for the meat(5-10min) they had emptied their table... Occasion was my fathers birthday, this was also mentioned in the reservation. Couldn’t belive the service is this bad!

Dinner for 4; ribeye Marsala for me, which was delicious. The others had yellowtail snapper, which was also good but no one appreciated the skin on the fish. Dings for the sides because none of us are broccoli rabe, cauliflower or Brussels sprout fan. We all had the fingerling potatoes which were fine but nothing special. Desserts were outstanding, zepolli (spelling?) coated with powdered sugar and berry and chocolate sauce and 3 types of mini cannolis. Tip added which no one noticed (and waiter did not point out, as I learned is what they are supposed to do), so we double tipped. Restaurant is supposed to fix this today; we will see, since I did not get the promised email. The food was very good, but there are better restaurants nearby.

We loved this place!!! The food was fantastic! We had the sea scallops appetizer. The scallops sit in a bed of mushroom cream sauce, and both were to die for. We also split the crab cake entree - really good with a touch of freshly squeezed lemon on top. We sat outside and watched an amazing full moon come up over the water. The only down side was the occasional a-hole in a loud car or motorcycle, but, hey, when you’re on the A1A, that’s gonna happen. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. I’m bummed that we found this place on our last night of vacation instead of earlier in the trip. We definitely would have eaten there again! Best meal we had all week, hands down.

We had a reservation for 7:15. At 7:45, after still not being seated, we gave up and decided to sit at the bar. It was Thanksgiving, so the menu was limited, which is ok, but the appetizer, which was supposed to be hot, was cold. It also took quite a bit of time to get our food. The option we both choose for the main course, (steak) they ran out of. We both then opted for salmon, which was good, but not great. The saving grace to the experience was the bartender, Albert - He provided exceptional service and was very friendly. He really made the meal.

The service was wonderful. The view of the ocean could not be beat! The appetizers were great and the salad was exceptional! The turkey dinner was good, but I am not a usually a fan of turkey but it was Thanksgiving!
I would definitely go back for a dinner of my choice and would recommend it to my friends. I can't wait to go back!
