This was our first time to Coast. We came at 8 pm and sat at the bar. The restaurant was excellent. The fish & chips were perfect. The lobster risotto was prepared and presented exceptional well. It was a lovely dinning experience. Definitely will return. While it was too chilly to sit outside, it seemed to be a good dinner location. The woman who handled the bar service was efficient and friendly.
Very good food. Their shishito pepper and soft shell crab were delicious. I like their bouillabaisse. We will be back!
Had wonderful special of soft shell crab and hamachi sashimi ( Nobu) style. We seated at their patio, very nice view with flower and breeze. Very friendly staff, definitely will go again.
We dined here for Mother’s Day for a party of 7, and we enjoyed it. The food was delicious. We were all in agreement that we’ll be back again . Our server: Sender, was very nice and patient, and informative! All the staff were nice.
Food was just poor. Shrimp cocktail was bland, Sole was soaked in oil, Mignon was ok, but pepper sauce tasted awful. Disappointing as it was a return visit following a nice meal twelve months previous
I was extremely disappointed by the service and food options. We had to ask about our courses multiple times and it was clear our waiter forgot our meals and requests.
We also had a pregnant girl with us and they were unable to make her eggs at her request at 12:30pm in a Sunday. We also placed multiple drink orders that never were served to us. Lastly, we requested a kids menu which our waiter said they did not have. As we were leaving one of the parties being seated was given a kids menu in front of us
This restaurant was astonishingly poor — disorganized, inattentive, poor setup, missed entrees. We went on Mother’s Day, which is a day for Coast to shine. Instead it was frantic and we waited 15 minutes for setup. My mother in law was served a different fish dish than she ordered. Too bad. I wanted to visit the restaurant, and now wish we had chosen someplace else.
Good selection of wine and food although they ran out of regular items on the menu. Service was slow at 9 pm we asked for the owner/manger and we were told she had left for the night. She should have stayed and helped her staff.
Food was good. Service left much improvements. Waiter did not provide any special information. Had to get from someone else. Was somewhat rude on drink orders. And had to ask for them to be brought to table. Don’t order the Margjerita. I returned it (and they did not take off bill). Took appetizer order without telling us about appetizer specials. We asked about the various flavors of the oysters and he could only tell us where he thought they came from. Didn’t even try to get us the answers. We ordered what we knew. Left empty plates on table. Waiter did not pay much attention. Good thing they had a very attentive young lady working who could help. No dessert or coffee asked. Overall a fair experience though the food was good
Excellent Service, Excellent Food... we had octopus, tuna app, filet of sole and scallops! My favorite part of the meal was dessert - flourless chocolate cake - out of this world. We will be back!
The food and menu was very good. Downsides were the loud ambience once the restaurant became full as there was nothing to damper the sound. Other low point was the scatty service. We had to find our waitstaff many times throughout our visit, even though at the start of our meal, it wasn’t busy.
All 4 of us loved our meals. The raw bar was fresh and yummy. The butternut squash soup was delish. The bouillabaisse was full of great seafood and plenty of broth for dipping. The seared tuna was well prepared and plentiful. The ambience is low key - - good for adults and families - - both were present on a Saturday night. The strip mall setting is not indicative of what you’ll find inside. We will return for sure.
Such a nice place. It has a great fixe prix lunch. One of the gals was celebrating her birthday. Our waiter surprised us with a complimentary birthday dessert! We enjoyed our food, ambience, service, noise level and parking!
Thoroughly enjoyed dinner with friends. It was a nice find! Will definitely go back.
Michelle was lovely and the food was delicious.
Excellent food. Service was friendly but slow for a lunch with few other diners.
This is one of the best places to get great seafood and at lunch also at a great price. Under $20 for a two course meal. In addition you get a great waiter by the name of Sender. Ask him to show you a picture of his newborn. He is so proud.
Met a friend for lunch. Beautiful restaurant. Loved the $19 lunch prix fixe menu. Food was very good. Had the tuna tartare, mussels, salmon and rock shrimp sanwich, exquisite!
Love their Restaurant Week dinner $35 for 3 courses. Yammy! Try their tuna tartare, salmon and napoleon dessert, recommended to all my friends.
Food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
We had a fabulous dinner. It's been a while since our last visit. We loved the hamachi sashimi, lobster crab ravioli, seafood squid ink pasta. We will be back.
My wife and I had dinner. Michelle our server was amazing as always. She always makes us feel comfortable and welcome. We had a himachi appetizer which was amazing. My wife had a tuna over crispy rice which she really enjoyed. The entrees were great. We will definitely continue to eat here
The food was very delicious! Recommend their Shishito pepper and toro tartare on crispy rice ! Amazing
Restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night so we thought maybe we made a mistake, but the food was very good. Service with the waiter Sender was excellent also - very attentive.
We have been there numerous time , it always gives us great time and gets better and better. Staff are courteous and professional- food is top notch and atmosphere is relexing and inviting. Seafood risotto and branzino are the best of all! Keep up and good work.
We ordered the octopus app and hamachi sashimi (Nobu style) which were both phenomenal! Absolutely delicious! For dinner we split the special Bouillabaissse and that was cooked to perfection, the sauce was perfect as well. Our waiteress was super friendly and nice, didn't have to upsell us at all. We were there to have great food and a good time! Napoleon and chocolate lava cake was amazing with the ice cream! We will be back and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Thank you for always presenting the best !
What a disappointment. Went for Valentine’s Day and maybe if they were packed with people one could excuse all of the nonsense but it really wasn’t crowded at all. First we got seated at a wobbly table that was being “balanced” out with half of a menu case. The couple next to us even commented “it’s been doing that all night” so surely they watched another couple ask to move which is what we did. Fine - not the end of the world. Just puzzling why they were even using that table in the first place when there were plenty of other empty ones. And it only
got worse from there. Aside from the cheap, fake rose on the table and tea light candle that went out within seconds, my main dish was....FROZEN!!! I literally bit into frosty, icy ravioli and had to send it back. I guess they nuked it in the microwave because they didn’t even bother to put a new ravioli on the plate. And that was that. The waitress seemed slightly embarrassed from start to finish but not enough to comp a thing, not even one drink. My husband and I have been to this restaurant many times and all I have to say is shame on whoever was in charge that night.
We love this restaurant! Food never disappoints! Quality, presentation and taste is always wonderful. Great menu too. We even enjoy just sitting at the bar for cocktails and appetizers sometimes. Great for date or just going out for dinner.
Very good food. Service people were nice but slow, and/or somewhat inattentive. Not enough at all to keep us from going back. We like it.
Sender “the bartender/server” Was really great!
My friend and I enjoyed the lunch we had very much. The food was good, but one of the fish dishes was pretty sparse. One of the best butternut squash soups I have ever had.
Very friendly and helpful waiter. There was only one other table with customers and wonder if it is always so empty. A more full restaurant is always nice. I may have selected the wrong box regarding noise lever. There was no noise.
We were celebrating mutual birthdays and the waiter brought a candle on the creme brulee. A nice touch. That's it.
Food has become mediocre. Service was not very good even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Would not recommend.
Calamari was tender and very crisp. Accompanied by a wonderful marinara.
Our entries were delicious as well.
Expensive place and my dinner was terrible. I ordered crispy duck-wasn't crispy and was tasteless. Seafood was mediocre.
As always the service was amazing and the food as delicious as it was the first time.
Awesome service great food.
Pre-fix New Years Eve menu line-up was great! Definitely a choice to love for all. I was a huge fan of my Lobster bisque and Filet Mignon! Thank you, Coast!
Not enough staff. Food was mediocre at best. Not worth the money.
Was expecting a great dining experience based on the reviews. Our food was a disappointment. Service was really hustling, just 2 folks running the bar and dining room. When entrees came the plate was cold, everything on the plate was the same unappetizing color, and the fish was over cooked and rubbery. Imitation crab in a $35 entree. Disappointed.
