Coast Seafood Restaurant
Enjoy your meal with hand craft cocktails and our extensive wine list. The restaurant is located in Cos Cob(Greenwich), CT, minutes from exit 4 or 5 of interstate I-95.
We love this restaurant! Food never disappoints! Quality, presentation and taste is always wonderful. Great menu too. We even enjoy just sitting at the bar for cocktails and appetizers sometimes. Great for date or just going out for dinner.
Very good food. Service people were nice but slow, and/or somewhat inattentive. Not enough at all to keep us from going back. We like it.
Sender “the bartender/server” Was really great!
My friend and I enjoyed the lunch we had very much. The food was good, but one of the fish dishes was pretty sparse. One of the best butternut squash soups I have ever had.
Very friendly and helpful waiter. There was only one other table with customers and wonder if it is always so empty. A more full restaurant is always nice. I may have selected the wrong box regarding noise lever. There was no noise.
We were celebrating mutual birthdays and the waiter brought a candle on the creme brulee. A nice touch. That's it.
Food has become mediocre. Service was not very good even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. Would not recommend.
Calamari was tender and very crisp. Accompanied by a wonderful marinara.
Our entries were delicious as well.
Expensive place and my dinner was terrible. I ordered crispy duck-wasn't crispy and was tasteless. Seafood was mediocre.
As always the service was amazing and the food as delicious as it was the first time.
Awesome service great food.
Pre-fix New Years Eve menu line-up was great! Definitely a choice to love for all. I was a huge fan of my Lobster bisque and Filet Mignon! Thank you, Coast!
Not enough staff. Food was mediocre at best. Not worth the money.
Was expecting a great dining experience based on the reviews. Our food was a disappointment. Service was really hustling, just 2 folks running the bar and dining room. When entrees came the plate was cold, everything on the plate was the same unappetizing color, and the fish was over cooked and rubbery. Imitation crab in a $35 entree. Disappointed.
Reliable and consistent make this a go to spot
The lunch special was really great. $20 for a sizeable appetizer and entree. Everything was fresh and tasty.
The food was amazing, from the poached pear salad and the mussels and shisito peppers, to the delectable sesame crusted swordfish, Chilean Seabass and Chicken Pallaird. Every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. I could not recommend this restaurant more highly.
Love the afternoon price fixed lunch. This time I had tuna but cannot resist the beet, goat and candied walnuts salad. Love Sender, the bartender, he is sweet and attentive.
Love that I was asked how I wanted my salmon prepared. Definitely try the beet salad with goat cheese and candied walnuts.
Just a consistent nice place, been going for years
Food and service both amazing. Wonderful new cocktails on the menu. Loved it
The food was delicious and the service was great. Toro tartare always as good as before. Halibut and Whole lobster cooked perfectly, tender and juicy! Also tiramisu was delicate and amazing made us so happy to dining in Coast. We have been coming here for more than 10 years and the quality and the service was always consistent.
Very loud tonight, very good food. Love their lobster & crab ravioli , best in town!
Outstanding food, atmosphere and service! I have been to other local seafood restaurants in town and Coast was an awesome experience. Our waitress Michelle was attentive and professional. Try their whole lobster and Kobe beef burger, love it. I am definitely coming back again soon!!
The Coast Seafood Restaurant has become our go to for a great seafood since moving to Greenwich. We have tried other seafood restaurant in this area and also Old Greenwich but for consistency of the food and service and value for money the Coast is our choice. We love their new dish diver scallop crudo and whole lobster, also butternut squash soup is always amazing.
I went to coast tonight to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Our server Michelle was amazing. She was very attentive and sweet. We ordered octopus and pear salad to start. The octopus was beautifully presented and the taste was amazing. Full of flavor and not tough at all. For entrees my wife had the salmon and I had the duck. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and very juicy inside. The duck was well seasoned and just the right amount of crispness. The food came out perfect. We didn’t feel like we were being rushed out of the restaurant. We had two of the new cocktails. The Fitzgerald. A bar hill gin drink. Amazing. And I had the bourbon thyme. Talk about tasty. For dessert we had a chocolate brownie which was very good. They cared so much about her birthday that
They put a candle without even asking. Sender even sang to her. He was so nice. Thank you so much for such a wonderful time.
Our first time at Coast. Loved it! The service was great. The food was delicious. I'd recommend their lobster seafood risotto, it was out of this world!! The drinks were very tasty aswell. We will definitely be visiting more often.
This is consistently a “go-to” place for dinner with friends, birthday celebrations, a quick bite at the bar. The food never disappoints and the service is always attentive and responsive. Best tuna tartare and diver sea scallops in town. Tasty and tender... yummy ! It’s one of my favorite local restaurant!
Horrible food. Tried 4 different dishes: 2 aps & 2 main courses. All were terrible!
Waiter very nice, but not attentive. Had to send one of the dishes back 2 times because it was cold. Scallops very salty, small not cheap. They did take off the cold dish from the bill. The dining room smelled musty.
Will not be returning.
Food and experience was great. Service didn't match...need to train the waiters a little more in terms of how they cleared the table. It was great that they asked if we wanted it cleared, but then they reached across people to clear.
Very good apps - shrimp tempura very crispy and not at all oily. Egg rolls good. Special branzino over asparagus entrée was excellent. Napoleon dessert a bit disappointing - very heavy. Also disappointed in being charged an extra $2 for a cocktail from what menu stated - to be fair, we didn't have tme to request a correction.
Consistent food with good service. Seafood is always the star.
Casual business meeting over lunch with good service and excellent seafood. Pricy, but expected. Recommended.
Great food in a near the seaside location on the Post Road in Cos cob
Excellent, fresh seafood. Service is very good, but could be just a little more attentive. Overall, a very good dining experience, in ambience and in quality of food. Wine list not long, but with some very good and interesting bottles. (Espresso coffee should be 'shorter' concentrated, not long...)
Very good (service was a little slow for a Monday night dinner)
Food was mediocre at best
This restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The service is great and the food is outstanding! Great for dates, business and family fun. The outside deck offers a peaceful view of water in nature. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Orders the tuna, both tuna and vegetables were room temperature. I did order the tuna rare but this was cooked earlier and then must have been warmer. Needless to say I won’t be going back anytime soon
