great place and food, highly suggest it
Excellent, personable service. Flavorful food. We ate from the prix-fixe lunch menu. Limited options, but well priced.
Very nice dinner outside as it was a warm evening. Highly recommend to friends and family.
I had their expresso martini
Excellent.
The fillet of Sole was outstanding.
Great spot.
Recommen to friends.
Came back to this place, halloween day is perfect for not such large crowds, I came back to what my wife and I started calling our little spot. Perfect night, this time we dined indoors. Classy, great music, great food and incredible service. This time I went for one of the fishes of the day which was suggested by our server and I’m glad he did I had red snapper with roasted vegetables, roasted portados and a delicious sauce that went perfect with our wine and fish. My wife went for their chilean sea-bass, what a great choice. I can’t stop having their octopus, so flavorful.. i’ll definitely keep recommending this spot to my friends. will definitely be back.
Always a nice lunch (or dinner) at Coast. We sat outside protected from rain with heaters! Two course options are perfect.
Nice place. Good food. Good service. tasty appetizers
My wife started with a roasted beet and Burata salad which she raved about and had a special pan seared snapper over wilted spinach which was also excellent. I had the filet which was also good. Not much in the way of ambiance
Great place, my wife and I came back to this beautiful restaurant out here by the lake. No sure what we love most the view or the food, they have heaters so makes it more enjoyable. The lunch menu is fantastic and it has a large variety of food. Today we had their beef dumplings and popcorn shrimps to start, my wife had for her main course their seafood risotto and i had the crispy half duck, it was delicious, i’ll definitely keep suggesting this place to my friends since we live in the area. the staff was very helpful and kind, great lunch selection,, all definitely come back.
I have been to some fine restaurants around , and I found Coast is a gem. It's terrific out door dinning experience. A beautiful out door view with outdoor heaters is big help. Further more I recommend shishito peppers, tender octopus, it was so soft and perfect; lobster seafood risotto, done to perfection, red snapper on a basil capers sauce, gorgeous. Can't wait to be back.
We went Sunday afternoon and our waiter, Abe?, was terrific, attentive and fast!
We discovered Coast during the pandemic - they have a lovely covered patio as well as additional seating outside, bordering a scenic pond.
We've been on a few occasions - the food is delicious and fresh, and the service is friendly and helpful.
Our faves are the seafood risotto, the tuna and of course, oysters.
The have a great selection of appetizers, mains and desserts for every palate. Housemade creme brulee for dessert is an obvious winner!
Coast offers a most pleasant lunch. Quite nice beef dumplings were tasty. Choice of 3 entrees reduced to two as sole was unavailable. Salmon, called "wild" and likely was with a beurre blanc sauce was perfectly cooked and delicious. Wine by the glass list not very inspired and the usual rip off. A Macon that costs me $10 in store is $14 a glass. Chilean sauvignon blanc was decent. Alas, the coffee machine was broken, but all-in-all a satisfying lunch. Service was attentive and pleasant.
Unfortunately due to Covid the service was poor. We were seated further away from other guests per our request but then we’re forgotten. It took half hour to get water and cocktails. Hopefully figuring out how to operate during this pandemic will improve but for the price we had a mediocre experience.
The rest was completely out of sync. Food was barely edible. We will not return. We were surprised by how busy the restaurant was. Perhaps we were just unlucky.
Last minute Saturday night reservation so we were seated at the only table available- “by the grass.” It was a beautiful night but chilly and breezy- staff was most accommodating and re-seated is when a table became available on the patio. We enjoy appetizers and these were good - gyoza, tempura shrimp, and a Caesar salad. Entrees were good also - pasta Bolognese and fish and chips. Vodka and soda is $14.50 for a short glass - overpricing even for Greenwich. Reasonable glass of wine. Strawberry Napoleon for dessert was good too. It was a very pleasant evening.
Overall worth going back. Food was delicious. Drinks were good as well.
The Coast is consistently wonderful! This is one of our favorite restaurant. I enjoyed salmon with beurre blanc sauce, a little crispy on the top, tender and juicy inside. My husband savored the prime angus filet mignon. We are happy this time as they have the outdoor heater made us warm during our nice outdoor candle dinning .
The food was so good and the service was excellent. Would recommend for anyone who loves seafood. From the oysters to Seabass it was delicious
Food was tasty and service was attentive throughout. I had the sea bass which was delicious and succulent and my wife had the seared tuna. Appetizers were also quite good, and with the happy hour prices on appetizers and drinks it made it more affordable.
Nice outdoor setting for lunch in the shade with a breeze wafting from the pond. Excellent lunch special value.
First off, the food is amazing. We left after dinner, thinking, we should come back tomorrow. Secondy, they creatively and effectively managed outdoor dining. This is a restaurant that has its act together. Go, eat, enjoy.
Great experience.
Food very good overall, including octopus, linguine and clams and bouilabase. Unfortunately they brought us a wrong main and did nothing to accommodate afterward (we shared our plates so no one would go hungry or eat a cold dish).
So basically, good food...spotty service
Chicken Paillard grilled NO SEASONING ... so bland and tasteless.
Veg wrap also lousy. Very disappointing meal.
Great covered patio. Expansive menu. Sauteed broccoli was done perfectly (color, bite, seasoning) Great happy hour choices.
Nice views, good menu, decent (not amazing) service)
Very mediocre service. Told them no dairy and they gave me sorbet with cream. A few things we requested never made it to our table. Appetizer of sushi was fatty and tasteless. 8-10 shishito pepper appetizer for 13.00 or 14.00 was a rip off. Would not return.
We had a lovely family meal al fresco - first meal out all together in 5 months! Staff prioritized our young children’s meals while we enjoyed a glass of wine, which was definitely appreciated. Main courses took longer than expected, but a table of 10 arrived just after we ordered...Perhaps that had something to do with the delay. The halibut special was excellent! The squid ink pasta wasn’t as flavorful as anticipated, but still delicious. The kids loved their fish and chips and Mac and cheese, plus broccoli and warm chocolate brownie and ice cream. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire Coast team!
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We had the seafood risotto and the fish and chips. They were both delicious and a great choice.
The food was excellent, the service needs to be improved!!!!
The service was horrendous. A waiter did not come to take even my drink order until I had been seated for thirty minutes already, and even then, it took another thirty for them to tell me the drink I wanted was not available (it was on the menu). The food was also tremendously late, as well as the check. It was crazy. Terrible service. Do not recommend.
This was my second time at Coast. First was a delightful family dinner which everyone (5 of us) loved. I was so happy with it that I booked a casual business lunch. The menu and special selections were plenty and varied. I started with the beef gyoza dumplings as they were so good the first time. My fish was delicious and my guest's seafood risotto was such a large portion that take-home leftovers were in order.
I wouldn’t go back, the food was horrible and overpriced, the service was awful- luckily tut was a nice evening on the patio and I was in good company, but I definitely do not recommend.
I had a great experience at Coast Seafood. Outdoor dining (given the current situation) was just perfect. The food and service was great! For the first time, I tried a blood orange margarita, oysters, grilled Portuguese octopus, and chilean sea bass- everything was amazing! I would definitely recommend and go back there again!
Minus the limited bar selection, the food was amazing. Our waiter was super helpful and attentive. We will be back for sure .
Lovely, secure outdoor seating - first outing since virus - will return.
Outdoor seating and everyone with masks makes it difficult but the people there made every effort to be as normal as possible. Kudos to them.
Really enjoyed our meal. It was great being able to go out again and have dinner. The only recommendation that I would have, is that our tables were not under the overhang proper, our tables were On the asphalt just adjacent to the overhang. several times during the meal some cars drove right by our table. I found this very dangerous as it’s very easy at times for someone to be distracted by a text or the phone or look away and they could’ve easily driven into one of the tables. My suggestion would be that orange cones or a barrier be set up so that parking is just in the front of the property and that people are not allowed to drive right next to patron sitting at tables in the parking lot area. Other than that the meal was fabulous
Service was great 3 people in our party got a dish that had muscles and they tasted old. They gave us a free dessert which nowhere near compensated for the 3 $30 dishes that were not eaten.
