   Busy, seasonal, pricey bar scene. Waitress overworked yet was very hospitable. Food very good but a bit over priced. A bit noisy for conversation with visiting family. Opted for bar seats for open access to deck although this too was quite loud.

   We went for Easter brunch, I emailed the restaurant with the same info in this review but didn't hear back. The Easter special was a buffet, food was lukewarm, had to ask them to refill 3 different foods on buffet. Menu was ham, lamb and fixings. Nothing too notable but was $43 a person. Outrageous!

   I loved the warm inviting atmosphere. The service was a bit slow and quirky but the food and drinks were worth the wait.

   14 ladies enjoyed our monthly "Dinner Out." The pizzas won 1st place. The fish sandwich was 2nd. Salads were huge, you can order a side salad and be full!! Atmosphere allows a large group at the back wall, yet in view of the great fireplace.

   We were a foursome. Our food experiences were a mixed bag. The calamari was very good...crispy and served in a unique way. Two said the lobster pasta was very tasty though the portions were rather small. Burger was fine. The The pan seared scallops were over done and very small. The cream of asparagus soup tasted good with the addition of salt but had tons of apparatus "threads" in it that made it very unpleasant. But overall the service was very good, the live music was great and we'll be back. I've had the flatbread in the past and that was very good.

   Food was good although New Years menu was unimpressive. Service was terrible! We waited 20 minutes for anyone to even bring us water and then had to ask the hostess to see if they could locate our waitress. The manager came over and apologized and took our drink orders but it was 10 more minutes before those arrived. We waited another 30 minutes for an appetizer of 2 scallops (they didn't mention was not enough for 2 people) then another 40 minutes for our meal. Coffee afterwards was served stone cold... we didn't even attempt dessert.

   We had a lovely birthday dinner here Dec. 10. We were fortunate to have a table by the beautiful fireplace, really nice on a cold night in Maine. We were seated immediately; the service was friendly and the bar was quiet at 6 pm when we arrived, and it remained so when we left at about 7:30 pm. The wood grilled pizza was wonderful; the prime rib excellent, as were the salads and the chocolate creme brûlée. Nice wine and beer list as well and cocktails. Will definitely return.

   Very inviting bar and bistro, beautiful fireplace. Our server, Kim was outstanding, she was very busy yet never rushed us. We had a nice meal and relaxing evening in the bistro.

    It was great! I love the Daniel and have had several get togethers there..I'd like to book a holiday get together in the function room.. I will be contacting you soon about this.
