This is an amazing restaurant and one of our favorites. Vincent serves innovative and beautiful dishes that also taste incredible, and he pairs them with wonderful little-known wines. We can't recommend Coarse highly enough.

My husband and I had the most amazing experience here. We’ve been to a lot of restaurants in New York City but this was definitely one of the best meals we have ever had. I’m still dreaming about the dishes we had the amazing wines we had to go with them and am already thinking about the next time we’ll be going back. Thank you to Chef Vincent and his team for a unforgettable meal.

We cannot say enough about Chef Vincent and Coarse. It’s in a class of its own. Not a single detail is overlooked. Hands down the best and most memorable dining experience of our lives.

One of the best restaurants in the city. So much love and thought goes into every detail. Truly represents the best of New York City!

1) The owner did not remember our reservation, even after personally speaking to him and giving him a credit card number to hold the reservation earlier in the day.
2) Our reservation was for 9pm, we were not seated until 9:45pm.
3) The courses were extremely rushed forcing us to either chug the wine pairings or move onto the next glass.

Quite possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had in my 10+ years living in New York City.

Amazing experience start to finish.
I cannot stop talking about the entire meal- all 8 courses- the freshest ingredients and impeccable taste for food styling. The wine paired were wonderful and healthy pours.
I cannot wait to come back- the meat and seafood just melted non our mouths. The dessert!! Oh my!
Well worth the $$- nowadays instead of presents, people want experiences which is exactly what was given at Coarse! Go go go!

This was such a wonderful surprise! We had no clue what the menu would be and I loved the suspense!
Starting with the crisp Cava, everything was perfect from there- it just got better!
We were served the individual courses by the chef who prepared them, and their descriptions were artful as well as the food. The wines were flowing and each dish had a pairing.
My only disappointment was missing out on the polenta with truffles as there was confusion about my friend’s allergies. Too bad! I guess I’ll have to go back again.
Thank you Vincent for a perfect experience which leaves me longing to return. Maybe the only reason to come to NYC.

Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere

A relatively sparsely decorated room, very open. All of the food is interesting in flavors and combinations, beautifully plated and presented. Service was friendly and attentive. The music was a bit overbearing -- good, but loud.

What a surprise and treat. Every bite was delicious, the wines paired perfectly. We were neither too drunk nor too stuffed when all was said and done. Highlights were, well, everything. We will certainly be back and I have already started recommending to others.

we LOVED the spontaneity of Coarse. The food and wine pairings were fantastic and we left not feeling like we needed to be rolled out of here. The attention to detail and energy were both fantastic. We will definitely come back.. what a great place!
