Very cozy and relaxed atmosphere

A relatively sparsely decorated room, very open. All of the food is interesting in flavors and combinations, beautifully plated and presented. Service was friendly and attentive. The music was a bit overbearing -- good, but loud.

What a surprise and treat. Every bite was delicious, the wines paired perfectly. We were neither too drunk nor too stuffed when all was said and done. Highlights were, well, everything. We will certainly be back and I have already started recommending to others.

we LOVED the spontaneity of Coarse. The food and wine pairings were fantastic and we left not feeling like we needed to be rolled out of here. The attention to detail and energy were both fantastic. We will definitely come back.. what a great place!

One of my husband and my favorite restaurants. The prefix menu is filling, gourmet, and a great deal. Wine is included with every course and they are generous with their pours. The atmosphere is laid back and lively while still providing a high-end meal. Would highly recommend this spot for a date night or a nice night out with friends.

The restaurant is small and unassuming from the outside, but the food and wine were incredible. We ate here for our anniversary and enjoyed every "course". And the price for everything was very fair.

I love going to Coarse. The dining experience it is always outstanding. The quality of the food with pairing wine, the attention to detail of the personnel and chef, the good ambience that they created now eating outside, makes it my 'to-go' place every time I have visitors who are foodies, and I want to impress.

Every course was better than the last and the wine parings were spot on! Service was excellent and each course timed nicely. Sadly, the outdoor seating was just so-so, hoping they give it some love now that the mayor has extended outdoor dining indefinitely.

Every bite was completely and utterly delicious! They have done a beautiful job with the outdoor landscaping to make it a lovely place to sit for a fine meal too.

The food and service are outstanding! It is my new favorite restaurant in NYC. Some may find it pricey but I think it is well worth the price.

The food at Coarse was delicious, beautiful, and creative. We went with a large group and the service was so friendly and personable! The outdoor seating spot is clean and quiet. This is a great spot for dinner with friends or for date night!

The food was good, but I did find some of their dishes to be too salty

Service was upfront and direct, not the best experience since it felt like they were trying to move us around as quick as possible

Celebrated my birthday with a few friends with a special dinner at Coarse and was blown away...again. It’s easily my favorite restaurant in Manhattan because the staff is amazing , the food is simply incredible and the atmosphere is a unique mix upscale-casual. This evening - we were six of us for my birthday dinner. We were greeted warmly - provided socially distant seating from the other patrons - giant pours with each of the seven courses served - and the staff took every measure to ensure our night was lovely. It’s not often to have a secret gem in Manhattan but I’m happy to let the secret out on Coarse. If you have the opportunity , treat yourself for a reservation and you will not be disappointed.

They are so amazing! Not only was the food so tasty, but I felt like I was transported to another country! Hospitality is truly their passion! They had very generous pours and was mindful of not just your water glass but your wine glass. It was paired so well to the courses too! I’m in love! I should have taken more photos!

Our meal was exquisite.
Black truffles says it all. It was phenomenal.
Rachel (our server) and Kevin (the assistant server) were so knowledgeable. They made our night and my boyfriends birthday was one to remember!!

Absolutely wonderful... one of those hard to get tables that is available when others have escaped the summer heat, and yet the summer is when the menu sings, with tartar and seared shellfish dishes paired with ripe summer vegetables and wines to match. Visit while you can...
