The Coach House is a new Independent Mexican Grill & Cocktail Bar set back off St Mary’s Row behind large green gates, and a Victorian courtyard, in the Heart of Moseley Village. Serving a variety of Mexican tapas and small plates till 21:00, when the cocktail bar then kicks in to full force with a menu of popular classics, local 'Moseley inspired' signatures and a variety of Mexican Mezcal based specials.

Turned up and a padlock was on the front door. No indication or communication from the restaurant that it wasn’t open and we’d been able to book a table through OpenTable… not good… especially when you have a baby with you and it’s raining in December.

We were taking friends out for our 10th wedding anniversary and had booked several weeks in advance. When we arrived it was closed! No notice. Nothing to explain why.

My complaint is not with the restaurant but with the booking service. I booked the table through OpenTable but when I arrived at the restuarant it was closed. I was given no notice of this

We turned up to find they did not know about the booking and we weren’t the only ones. No apology total chaos there was a small private party on. Even staff turned up but weren’t required. Absolute shambles
