CO - Raleigh
Went with a group. Great location and ambience. The number of menu options is probably just the right size. Had a few of the apps, a couple of the banh mi options, and some ramen. The Masa Ramen is excellent, the banh mi were good. The one thing that I thought was not great, were the dumplings. They were a little tough and chewy. They have a house-made hot sauce that is delicious. Just the right amount of heat to let you know that you're eating hot sauce, but really tasty as well. Overall, I'd go back and would recommend the place.
I do love the food here. The brunch deal for two meals plus a carafe of mimosas for $25 is terrific! Service was very slow, but we were not in a hurry. Glad the ordeal with the hotel fire alarm didn't go on any longer. I don't know that I've tried any menu item here that I didn't like. The spicy udon with chicken that I got this time was fabulous and leftovers were just as awesome.
The food and service were fantastic! We ate here at lunchtime on a rainy Saturday, so there weren’t many people around, but I have a feeling the service would be great at any time. My husband had the Vietnamese ramen and I had the tuna poke bowl, and I would easily recommend both dishes to anyone! The restaurant is also in a beautiful new area of North Hills next to the AC hotel with tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance. There are several parking garages with free parking nearby, also. A great place for a date night out or a night out with friends!
Korean bowl. Meat was so over cooked there was no flavor and very chewy. My first meal here was great so very disappointed this time.
Nice atmosphere and very good service. Just a few things for possible improvement. The individual chairs that go with the regular banquette seating are too low. We were looking up at our dinner companions. Our friend noted that the menu font was way too small to read. It really was. The food was good, but I was disappointed in the fresh summer rolls I ordered. They were the size of a burrito and mostly filled with lettuce. Only one small shrimp and piece of pork in each huge roll. The spicy crab Rangoons were yummy.
Thank you for the feedback! We take all reviews very seriously and will take your notes into consideration. We do hope you'll be back for rangoons (& more) again soon!
Second visit, love the house made hot sauce, curry coconut broth and crab dumplings
Love to hear it! Thanks for sharing.
The chicken wings and shrimp curry were fantastic. We first ordered the summer spring rolls and they lacked flavor but their hospitality manager was immediately at our table and genuinely interested in why we were not happy with them and graciously whisked them away.
Very mediocre thai food. Everything tasted the same.
I arrived early and say at the bar. Service at the bar was spot on. When it was time for my reservation to kick in we paid our tabs and went back to the host stand. The guy was slightly oblivious but took us to our table. Once there, no one, I repeat, no one came over to us.
I finally went back to the host to find out about a server and he said he would go check. Again, no one came.
I hailed another server to ask about a server and she said it was some other person.
Our reservations were at 7pm. Almost 30 minutes before a server finally came to our table.
Food was delicious. Drinks were great. Table Service was abysmal on this Tuesday night.
This place is always amazing! Highly recommend!
food was excellent! Service and ambience -meh...but worth it for the Curry Laksa and other dishes we all shared- we are big Asian food connoisseurs
Everything was average. Food is good but nothing special.
Food was average. The mango spring rolls had zero taste. The papaya salad was light and pretty tasty.
When I tried to change my open table reservation to 15 or 30 minutes later it said they were booked. But when we got there the restaurant was practically empty. And then for some reason even though the restaurant was empty they sat two people literally 2 feet from us
Our waitress did not know anything about the wine menu or the food menu. When asked to describe one of the white wines she said “it’s just like any other white wine”. But then later told us she was under age and haven’t tried any of them
The restaurant had a cool vibe and was very clean and inviting
The hostess was very nice and also inviting.
The happy hour specials are great and tempted me to try new things.
Amazing place with great food. Food portions are decent and quality and presentation is great!
Amazing review! Thank you for sharing.
Great location with outstanding food. We ate there Easter Dinner for something a little different. Food was fresh, delicious, and generous portions. Definitely going again!
Great variety of food and all delicious. Server very friendly and attentive. Have been telling all my friends how good CO was!
So wonderful to hear! We appreciate the kind words.
Delicious Vietnamese dishes. We had the Curry Laksa, Vietnamese Chicken Salad, & Garlic Sesame Tuna Tacos. Love the flavors of the dishes so much, I went online to find recipes so I can also enjoy them at home. It was a young crowd, hip environment, new modern setting, interesting cocktails to indulge in. Nice place for a date.
Delicious and generous portions.
Amazing food and the staff is really friendly! The drinks are pretty good too with descent prices.
Food was very tasty, but we were disappointed w/the cocktails. Ambiance is great. Some neat takes on traditional Asian fare. Would recommend.
So great to hear! Please let us know how we can make your next visit a 5-star one.

A new experience! Great food and drink. Lot's of options, we'll be back!
We look forward to your return!
Our first time at CO was great! We tried a variety of small shareable plates that our server recommended and enjoyed all of them. We will be back.
The food is so consistently amazing....staff is always great.
So great to hear!! Thanks for sharing.
Everything great but too loud. Hard to hold a conversation
Food was dry and tasteless. The waitress was trying to hurry us out the door before we had finished our meal. Probably won’t go back. There are so many more good restaurants to choose from.
Great food and awesome service - highly recommended!
Thanks for the recommendation!
Excellent curry dishes, dumplings, salmon crunch bowl
Thank you for sharing, John! Come back & see us again soon.
Getting good SE Asian food in Raleigh is tough. I wanted to like this place, and it wasn't horrible, but the food was NOT amazing- felt fairly generic- and the decor was cheaply done that it was distracting.
Food was amazing with a great atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful!
Thank you for taking the time to share!
Good food and service
Need better lighting! Menus hard to read
Amazing food and good atmosphere....service was great
Amazing review! Thank you for sharing.
Great food! Great service! Amazing happy hour deals!
I absolutely LOVE the food and drinks here. My boyfriend and I decided to do a post-Valentine's Day dinner here and it was probably the most romantic dinner we've had in quite some time. He had the ramen and I had the mango Summer rolls. We split the crab Rangoon and dumpling appetizers and the cheesecake wontons for dessert. Everything was delicious, the prices were reasonable and the drink offerings were stellar as well. (I HIGHLY recommend the cilantro smash and the pineapple sake!) We had a very polite and attentive server. (Even the music was great and I usually prefer a more quiet date night setting!) Even though we love the ambiance, this particular night the lighting was a little too dim as many of us dining had to pull our phones out and use the flashlight to see the menus but other than that, CO has definitely surpassed a number of places in Raleigh and is now my current favorite eatery.
Every single thing was delicious. We tried many things and I look forward to trying more.
The evening started with high expectations with a lively and eclectic atmosphere, but soon went downhill from there. We arrived at 7:15 for a 7:30 reservation. Had to check in with the hostess after a 30 minute wait at the bar, while we watched other couples being seated that arrived after we did. Finally proceeded to show us to our seats only to find a table for 2 in the midst of several other large parties (we requested a high top). After complaining about that, we were then seated at a high top table. Next our waitress shows to take our order and we proceeded to order appetizers and an entree each. After about 15 minutes, our entrees arrived before we ever saw an appetizer......of course shortly thereafter our appetizers arrived......go figure. The manager apologized and gave us complimentary appetizers.........................At this point we were done.
On the other hand, our entrees (pad thai and spicy pepper udon noodles) were tasty along with the siracha mary (bloody mary) we had at the bar...................Hopefully it was just a bad night......
