   Tried for the first time and unfortunately, it will be our last. The atmosphere had promise. The menu looked good. The service was fine. But after that, it went downhill. Starting with cocktails. I ordered a cocktail that was supposed to have St Germaine, lemon, mint, fresh blueberries topped off with Prosecco. What arrived was a fluorescent blue drink without any mint or blueberries. When I told the waiter this was not what I ordered, he went back and said they were out of blueberries so they substituted blue curacao. That was returned for a French 75. Supposed to have gin and lemon syrup. Again, nothing but flat Prosecco. We also ordered an Old Fashion that was supposed to have Earl Gray tea. Sounded interesting. Nothing but cheap bourbon and no garnish. Undrinkable. The entrees were fine. We had ahi tuna and a filet mignon. The waiter offered a sampling of the different steak sauces and butters to try. Those never arrived. As with other steak houses, you pay $60 for a steak sitting alone on a plate because it does not include anything. I ordered the wedge salad which had a nice dressing but no blue cheese crumbles as described on the menu. The bill came with the original wrong cocktail still on it. Took about 10 minutes to clear that up. Now we know why there were ample reservations available on Friday night.

   C&W exceeded my/our expectations. They went above and beyond on my wife's birthday. The food was hot and fresh, very delicious. James took care of us the entire night, service was top notch. We will be back!

   Wonderful experience from the time we walked in the door, the greeter was fabulous or seated in a timely manner. Waiter came over. Introduced himself. Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. We were not rushed A++

   We went for an early dinner and to celebrate a birthday. We had a very nice experience The food was good . The Salmon had very good flavor,and the portion size was perfect.The service by Michael was outstanding. The birthday card from the staff was a very nice touch. Parking was a little tricky In the rain . The manager Kim was so friendly and pleasant. We will definitely be back

    James, the manager, makes sure to stop by your table to introduce himself and Dashon who was our server. Couldn’t have asked for better service. The ambiance was a cool mature setting with the attentive and friendly waitstaff. Frank Sinatra in the background and an amazing selection of wines, tapas (ceviche and pork belly were AMAZING!) and entrees (Tomohawk pork chop medium rare was succulent and Chef curated NY Strip special couldn’t have been a greater delight), it was hard not to be at ease and enjoying easy conversation. We were never rushed, and our dessert was simple and did not disappoint selecting the creme brulee. I strongly recommend you visiting this quiet corner of Ballantyne for an unexpected quality surprise outside of Charlotte.
