I have been coming here for more than 10 years. I even used to have my favorite booth. Sadly, the restaurant looks “tired”. The quality of food is steadily decreasing.

Nice place (as usual) for lunch. A/c upstairs wasn’t working but downstairs was comfortable and it was fine. Buratta starter was excellent and we always enjoy the crab cakes. Excellent fresh iced tea and refills provided without us even having to ask. Just what we wanted oh a hot day. Staff is great too.

We ate outside on a lovely evening. Service was good and we never felt rushed. It was quiet so we could hear each other. The fried green tomatoes with pepper shrimp was excellent as was the crab cake. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips. We have eaten at Clyde’s often and always had a good meal.

This is a favorite Chevy Chase restaurant for my family. The service & ambience was great. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t as tasty as usual.

Unfortunately, we arrived to find the AC on the main level want working but we were able to lunch in a cozy booth at the basement level. Our server was top-rate. Food was fine as usual
