I tried the Chilean sea bass. It didn’t taste fresh and was not very good. When the waitress asked me how it was she practically ran from the table when I told her not great. The waitress also didn’t even keep our iced teas filled. I was disappointed in the experience.

Food was really good - had filet, king crab, salmon, shrimp and grits. Chopped salad excellent. Everything done perfectly. Our server Jamil was fantastic , very knowledgeable about the menu, helpful with recommendations and personable. Surprised our birthday celebrant with wonderful dessert. Thanks to all.

The food was great, our waiter was great. The only thing is that I had in my reservation that they bring a cake out and a birthday song to surprise my daughter but it never happened. The waiter said that when it gets busy they forgot.

Presentation is nice. Drink quality depends on the bartender. Diverse menu. Servers are trying hard. Overpriced for the meal quality. It's very loud inside. Bit of a sports bar thing going on. Wishing I'd chosen Cooper's Hawk or The Melting Pot instead because the last time I was there, everything was tops. It's just difficult to find the opportunity to blow $150 on a meal.

First time checking it out and was not disappointed!! Our server Jamil went above and beyond to make our first visit perfect! He was extremely knowledgeable about the entrees, gave honest replies on questions we had. Was conversational and friendly with us but not overly talkative, which we like. Food was delicious and exactly how Jamil said it would be! We were amazed!!! Our dinner came out presented all pretty that I didn't want to eat it! The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. Prices were so reasonable and especially for being more of an upscale restaurant! We will definitely be going back to try some new entrees! Best 25 yr Wedding anniversary dinner ever! All thanks to Jamil for adding the warm welcoming touch!

We were very d, our first time there, shrimp and grits were tough, shrimp and scallops were tough, no flavor, bland, green beans were uncooked. It was our anniversary, lots of recommendations, but we will not go back.

Our first visit here. What a nice surprise! Elana, our server was so personable and able to recommend dishes for us to try. The food came out hot and very fresh. We will definitely come back and request Elana again. Definitely recommend this place. Excellent!

Celebrated our 40th anniversary. Had scallops and the perfect mix. Everything was fantastic. From the soup, salad, wine, entrees to the carrot cake. Will repeat and recommend this place. The server was excellent and the timing of the food delivery was perfect. Best seafood restaurant in the Dayton area.

We celebrated my Husbands bday here at Club Oceano Seafood & Bar . Everything was delicious. The ambiance is great! And our server was very kind. I would come back here again when we crave for seafoods. I would recommend it to everyone!

Had a wonderful server who had a sweet personality and attentive to our needs and ambience was fine. The 4 stars on Food was due to my dish Shrimp & Grits. The grits were a wonderful creamy texture but were just barely warm in temperature. The sauce and shrimp had great flavor but shrimp seemed over cooked and were chewy. I have eaten here in the past and everything was delicious. Others in our party enjoyed their meals so perhaps I made a bad choice.

Great Food they have steaks if there is a land lover among you. The seafood is fresh and delicious. Wine list is adequate cocktail I had was very well made. Great meal at a reasonable price.

I requested outdoor seating when I made the reservation. When we arrived we were told we couldn’t sit outside because the chairs might be wet. They weren’t wet. I checked. They just didn’t want the hassle of seating outside. It was a beautiful night. It had rained in the morning but was now 7p and everything was dry. The band was playing outside and people were sitting outside on the benches and lawn. Also, I had just started eating my salad when my entree arrived. When I was done with my salad, my entree was cold. I mentioned it to my server that the entree was brought out too soon but he didn’t offer a solution. The very least he could have suggested just taking the entree to the kitchen to keep warm. The service and wait staff used to be more experienced.

This was my first visit to Oceana. Delilah was our server. She was very attentive and helpful. My friend ordered the salmon. She is extremely picky and loved her entree. I ordered the shrimp and grits with asparagus. It was delicious. The shrimp and asparagus were both cooked perfectly. I will return.
