   The food was cold when it came out and we were the only ones in the restaurant. One person serving, hosting and bartending.

   The WORST experience dining in Puerto Rico during 8 years of regular travel and stays on the island! We waited 30min for our entrees to be told that they had “sold” the last of those dishes to take-out customers! They promised to bring us similar entrees if we waited another 30min and take off a chunk of the charges — only to renege after we had finished dinner and instead point to a couple of measly side dishes which we didn’t want or ask for! Eat here at your own peril! Food was mediocre at best and not the $60 / head we forked out. And watch out for their attempts to scam you while offering earnest assurances!!

   Thank you for your feedback on your recent visit to Club Hiedra. We sincerely apologize that your initial fish order was unavailable due to unexpected demand and for the 30-minute wait. To compensate for the sold-out item, we offered a replacement, and you ordered/fully consumed additional sides (which we intended to be complimentary). You also fully consumed your entire meal. We aim for smooth dining and are sorry we fell short. As a valued regular visitor to Puerto Rico, we hope you'll consider another chance to demonstrate our food and service quality, even when busy.

   Lovely restaurant serving a mix of local and Italian cuisine. Our waitress was kind and helpful. The food was excellent. I loved the penne with vodka and Puerto Rican-styled beef stew. Highly recommend this for visitors to the Condado beach area of San Juan.

   Bad food, one person working 3 different jobs (bar, front desk, and waitress), takes forever (1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to come out), the chef doesn’t know what he’s doing, food was cold, she messed up our order, only 6 people in the entire restaurant and they messed up both tables orders, I asked to change my order that was messed up and the waitress told me to try it first. We never touched the food and left, only two people working the ENTIRE restaurant. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY.

   I ordered the sirloin and the meat was tough and veiny, also the yuca and sweet potato mash was filled with roots. It was un eatable, but the waitress was so amazing she changed my plate with no charge. The new order was good. The place is really cool and has potential, the service is above average and that is what would make me return.

   Jess was a kind waitress! Very calm ambiance! Lots of pasta options on the menu but we went later in the evening so some items were already out for the night.

   The food is great the ambience is great. The staff is excellent. You need to slow down and make it a dinner experience. We don’t want to be ignored but we also don’t want to feel like we’re being rushed out. Suggest a signature cocktail. Or a great appetizer. We loved the food now make it an experience.     This is an off path restaurant, not on the tourist strip. We found it on OpenTable and decided to try it based on the good reviews. The food was very good and the server was very nice. The ambience was so so. When we went in at 7pm, there was only one other table of two people. We were done with dinner by 7:35! The food was very good, but the restaurant felt very sterile without other people in it. Also, I think they need to do something to warm up the space perhaps putting some pictures on the walls or wood paneling. I feel like they have “almost gotten it right“ But it’s hard to compare with some of the trendy restaurants on the main strip. I would love to see them be successful because they were so nice, but it wasn’t the fun dining experience that we were looking for.
