Club Arcada 1920s Speakeasy
Another great ladies night out! We love the Speakeasy and it's a great place to gather prior to a show!
Really enjoyed our night at Arcada! Great music featuring Jonny Lyons & the Pride, and great service. Would definitely recommend.
Sinatra Sunday was wonderful. Family of 6 had a very enjoyable dinner and enjoyed the singer. Will do again for sure. Thought the food was great, typical Italian Sunday dinner and there was a lot for the price. Only thing I would change would be the size of the plate, same amount of food just a little bigger. Other than that loved it!
Great band good food service and atmosphere made for a great night
Simple and delicious menu, I would highly recommend the Salmon. The ambiance is fun and detailed, the talented entertainment makes a complete experience! 5 stars ⭐️
The whole experience was great. Small food menu and much larger drink menu with great choices on both. We chose the charcuterie platter and the slider platter and both were delicious and more than enough food for 2. The setting was very much 1920's and great fun - the room decor was casual but vibrant and the servers all in 20's garb. Server was friendly and very attentive. Old fashioneds were great!
Overall a really nice experience and, we would return again!
The food and drink is a bit pricey and while the drinks were spot on the food could have had a little more for the price (Charcuterie).
Jessica, our server was super-energetic and inviting. The hostess was very nice but, appeared to require a bit more training.
The environment is really neat and unique.
The speakeasy motif works very well. Food and service wee great. However, the noise is deafening.
I could not hear my wife, sitting right beside me.
The was a very good solo singer, but she was way to loud. With less noise, it would have been an excellent experience.
We went twice this month - once for a special birthday and another time with friend. Met a group of other friends there on the same day. The food is always very good. Love the ambiance and all of the decor.
The singers were entertaining. We especially liked Lee Stevens.
We look forward to our next visit to Club Arcada 1920s Speakeasy.
We really enjoyed our dinner and show at the Speakeasy. We would definitely recommend to friends and will come back.
What the food comes down to is that it looks much more appealing than it actually tastes, for the price anyway. What you are paying for is the fantastic ambiance and live entertainment that was there when we went there. I will definitely try this place again and have a different meal because I love the ambience/decor that much. I had the salmon meal for $19 and the wife had the steak dinner for $28. We both agreed that we should've got an appetizer before the meal because we were still a bit hungry after our meal. The drinks are very unique and use fine liquor, and for that reason they up the price of those as well.
Loved the whole experience. Wish there was a few more appetizers for vegatarians.
Restaurant was very good. Servers were awesome. Food was delicious including dessert. Only wish is that there was a larger selection of food items.
Band was great! Swing dancers were so fun to watch. Attentive service and great dessert!
A great time had by all!
and finished plates for quite awhile. The bar area was pretty empty and my friend and I were the only ones eating. Step it up Ron, we will be back for music.
Good food, great drinks and a fun atmosphere.
The speakeasy ambience carried off well, with rooms off to side and decor. Made for a fun night. food was good. Steak a bit pricey for size. Menu small but all we tried was above average.
Food and service were very good. Our first visit. Salmon was excellent. We will be back.
Great place to eat before a show at the Arcada Theatre. Themed beverages and good food! Fun environment!
Fun and reasonably priced. Attentive staff. Loved it.
Fabulous setting. Very good food, but menu could add a couple more dinners, like a pasta, and chicken options and a simple salad. Good service, nice people. Very fun experience! Will be back.
The food was delicious and the entertainment was wonderful. Our mom loved celebrating her birthday here !! Thanks for a great, special memory.
We come often and almost always have a good experience. We love the food, atmosphere and most of the staff. This time though, it was a bit different. We had one of our favorite waiters but the young man delivering our meals needs an attitude adjustment. He brought our meals before my appetizer and then when I asked about it he asked me what he should do about it in a cocky sort of way. I felt as though he should have suggested something. I told him to still bring it to me and I ended up having it for dessert. I understand it was very busy that night which is a good thing and the staff should be able to handle what comes with it. The table next to us ordered dessert and it never came so they just asked for their bill and left without getting the dessert. It also seems to take awhile to get alcoholic drinks regardless of when we're there. Not sure what that's about but it should be addressed so that everyone at the table gets their drinks at the same time instead of non-alcoholic drinks coming first and then the alcoholic drinks come last. Thanks for listening.
Great time, perfect for date night or entertaining out of town guests. Schedule dinner when the entertainment is playing!
First time ever to the Arcada theatre and the Club Arcada---will not be the last time. Everytime we go again, the Club will be the place we dine before the show. Both were outstanding. Parking is easy to find, the food was absolutely wonderful--(when you don't need to add seasoning to anything you know it is really fine) Our server Kim was amazing---everyone there was quick to make sure you had everything you needed. Burton Cummings was amazing---sold out performance---and there isn't a bad seat in the Club or the Theater.
For the first time experience this was the best overall. The music presentation was and incredible experience. We both fully enjoyed it.
The food was an unexpected pleasure. The atmosphere is the “tops!” Having worked in the city in the 1970’s. I heard about this place from the old timers, “in the day.”
Well with the combination of great food, wonderful surprising atmosphere, service and incredible music. It’s a must try.
So I hope you have a great experience like we did.
The primary purpose for going was the entertainment which was very good, but we were disappointed that we didn't get to see it in the theatre due to poor ticket sales. So, they moved it to the restaurant. We planned to make an evening out of it, and have dinner there, so the entertainment in the restaurant created an excellent ambiance. The restaurant decor is worth a "must see," but do NOT go for the food. We have never seen a smaller and more limited menu anywhere, and the price for what we got was nothing short of exorbitant. The food taste was, basically, okay. They charged $15.00 for a glasss of house merlot, almost double what I'd pay at any high end resturant downtown Chicago. The $28 filet I ordered was smaller than the palm of my hand. We wound up paying over $100 for a dinner that left my wife and I still hungry. My wife couldn't finish her pulled pork, and it wasn't because she was full. We drove an hour to get to St. Charles looking for a reason to go to this venue that we had heard so much about. We won't be going back.
Ambience was exquisite! Loved the 20s decor and costuming on the staff. Although food selection was minimal, what
we ate was delicious. Outstanding craft drink selections too.
got an email with our Ace Frehley tickets to come try it out and receive 10% off (which we did not get and by the time we got our check we did not bother asking)
Hostesses were great attentive and immediately greeted us confirmed our reservation and seated us. But that is were the good service ended. We had the male server in a purple hat. The place was not busy fir our 5:40 reservation yet the attentiveness of our server was subpar at best. Had to ask for a second beer had to ask for check never given an option for dessert. Pathetic. This is not what we were hoping for and I am sure Ron dies not accept this type of service. The hood spectacular nothing was bad. The bread we had to ask for cm out cold and then we had to ask for butter. Please fix this service so we can try again.
Magician was fun. Food good. Service excellent. Going back tonight for another show. Wonderful cozy venue. Lucky to have it here.
This is a first class organization and entertainment gem in the suburbs
The Sinatra Sunday dinner was excellent as usual. My wife even had a gluten free version with just the sausage and peppers paired with a gluten free pizza. Great service also.
We come to the Club Arcada for the entertainment. The food is very good, recommend the salmon! w
Loved the food and the Moods!!!
Great place atmosphere was beautiful and details! We will
Definitely return again for a special occasion! Nice and friendly staff !
We had a great time and the food was delicious, and this from an Italian, Italian food snob. Exceptional! My only complaint is the volume of the singer - lovely voice, great choice of songs, but the mic is so loud you can’t hear the person next to you. I actually looked forward to her breaks so I could converse with my friends. That won’t keep me from returning and bringing new guests with me.
Band was great and service was attentive.
The meal was very good, but a dinner roll or bread would make it even better.
My wife and I attended a concert at the facility. Even though we were there early, the service was slow. I ordered a Beer and it was served in a small brandy sifter. I thought it was a joke, or part of the speakeasy theme. I saw other customers receiving beer, in full pint glasses. Ounce for ounce it was one of the most expensive beers I’ve had. The menu was very limited, which was understandable considering that the location was primarily a bar. The steak and salmon were good, but expensive.
