My favorite Indian restaurant in the city every time! Delicious food! All the tandoori dishes are incredible, and the Lamb is unbelievably good. Also recommend the curries strongly! Overall lovely place, great owners, and a 5/5 meal every time

Food was amazing! Went for my friend’s birthday. I had the chana masala and my friend had chicken tikka masala. For dessert we had kheer and coconut sorbet served in a coconut shell. It was absolutely amazing and authentic Indian food (I’m Indian and can attest). Highly recommend!

We have loved every dining experience at Cloves! Syed is a gracious host and the staff is wonderful. Most importantly, the food is delicious!!!

The food was absolutely delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care. The service was quite a different story. While I appreciate attentive waitstaff, the level of oversight we experienced felt suffocating. Every time we paused to savor our meals, we were met with persistent inquiries about whether we were finished. It became increasingly uncomfortable, especially when they took my plate while I was still chewing! This constant pressure made it difficult to enjoy the dining experience fully and left us feeling anxious rather than relaxed.

What started as a great experience, ran flat at the end. Once the food was dropped, we never saw our server again, except for him sitting at the bar on his laptop. The owner? came by as soon as our food was dropped and offered anything we needed, then proceeded to sit with the waiter. We were then cared for by the busser, who stacked our dirty dishes and proceeded to scrape each dish at the table (gross). She managed to cover my white quarter zip that was resting on empty chair with food drippings in several places. Please train your staff. We sat for what seemed like an eternity, until I finally got up and took my credit card to the bar and asked them to run my check. The check and cc receipt were abruptly dropped while the bartender was talking to someone else on the phone. No thank you, no good bye. Probably the lowest tip I have left in a decade and it was still a gift. Go some somewhere else and let this place die.

Very good fresh salad and fig lamb. Rice was very dry. Maybe more helpful to chose dishes for children will be appreciated.

First time at Cloves. Started off with excellent lychee martinis, followed by a terrific mulligatawny soup. As for the main course of chicken korma, a disappointment-quite bland, not what one would expect for Indian cuisine. The restaurant was busy on a Friday evening-perhaps other dishes have authentic Indian flavors.
