   The only food available was from the café cabinet. This was not clear on the website - it accepted our booking for lunch. We had to search for somewhere else as it was my wife's birthday.

   Location gives a stunning view of the coast. Ambiance is nice and calm with music not invasive nor annoying. Feels good and deals and we had a table with a view. Menu choice are very limited for vegetarians as we are, but still the choices we made had generous amount of salad without being excessive. There was a confusion between the label descriptions on the choices displayed in the glass cabinet. We did not want the Mexican Tomatoes and feta as we do not like hot spicy food but the spinach and feta one. Because of the incorrect label we ended up with exactly what we did not want. The scrambled eggs were excellent.

   We turned up to celebrate my mother’s birthday only to be told the bistro was closed despite my reservation! The server told me she had tried to call me to advise, but I had no missed calls. We were told we could go back to the Clouds Maleny (barrel) to have lunch, but we had just been there. Also, we asked at Clouds Maleny how far it was to travel to Montville, and they gave us directions and did not tell us it had closed. Luckily, we found a lovely place (The Chapel, Montville) and they were very accommodating

   The food was beautiful, nice quiet location. We had the pleasure of a storm rolling through at the time.

   The food and service were lacklustre. The was no one else in the restaurant yet service was almost non existent. Menu items weren't available and the food served was average at best. Perhaps the cook and/or management were away but we were very disappointed. Lucky it was our work party and our spirits still meant we had a great time. It's a pretty location.

    Overall the breakfast was nice but I like my eggs runny so that the yoke runs over the avacado. An option of how you like your eggs would have mitigated my issue.
