If you're staying in the hotel, its a nice looking place to grab a very expensive (but tasty) cocktail and equally expensive bar snacks. The ambiance was off, it was just... in the middle of everything and didn't quite exude the feeling you expect from the photos. The staff was friendly but forgetful for the bar was not experiencing a very busy evening. I was expecting a more well-dressed crowd, but being in a hotel you get people in jeans, puffy coats, teeshirts and it just threw off the whole experience for us.

Gorgeous renovations to the Royal York hotel and Clockwork is the wonderful place for drinks and small bites.

Our server was outstanding and went out of her way to make the afternoon special.

This bar is warm, friendly and beautiful. Staff, food and drinks wonderful.....this time of year....so festive!!

Love the environment and all the Christmas decorations

The food and wine were excellent; the service superb. But, your table-top was entirely too small for the plates and glasses involved in a meal for two. It ended up being an unnecessary struggle for space.

Great service, amazing food and drinks, and a beautiful and cozy atmosphere; the whole restaurant looked like a scene out of The Great Gatsby! I liked the lobster rolls in particular- they just melted in my mouth! The Meet Me at the Clock cocktail went perfectly with all of the food we ordered. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, and I’ll definitely be back for more!

Absolutely incredible! Even though it’s in the lobby of the hotel the noise is minimal and the ambiance is fantastic. The food and drinks are pricy but so worth it for a special date night. Everything was delicious and the staff were kind, attentive and overall amazing. Would definitely come back!

Lovely place. Drinks are way to expensive and I imagine people simply nurse 1 $30 cocktail all night. Had the cerviche which was outstanding. And a very large portion

Very nice setting and the champagne cocktail was nice though very expensive.

Went for lunch but the menu is limited to small plates and the options are also limited. Ordered the mini steak sandwiches which were tasty but wished that 1) she’s mentioned that it would be served medium rare (I wasn’t asked) and 2) that it would be a entire chunk of steak rather than thinly sliced as it was very difficult to bite through a medium rare (almost rare) one inch thick chunk of meat between two thin pieces of toast. Also had the fires fried in duck fat which I assumed would have made them crispy but sadly they were not - tasty but not crisp.

I took my husband to Clockwork for lunch on Canada Day to celebrate his 80th birthday. It was a superb choice. The serving staff were attentive, friendly and created a festive atmosphere around him . We started with champagne then the best lobster rolls we have ever had (even in Atlantic Canada and Maine) and super hot fries. I told our server that it was his birthday and she organized a courtesy dessert for us to share. Altogether a memorable part of a special day for both of us.
