   Great experience. Took my lovely daughters in law and loved it. I am a hard one to win over with tea as I am a black coffee only kinda gal. Our server listened to what I like and suggested a great one. I would drink it again in a heat beat. One of my girls is vegan and the other gluten free. The special menu gave them both their dietary needs and they loved the offerings.

   It is always a wonderful experience when we visit! Our favorite teas are Boston and Florence, and we are never disappointed. The staff is wonderful,warm,and knowledgeable. The environment is welcoming and whimsical.

   Everything about this tea shop is wonderful- quaint ambience, huge tea selection, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, and delicious food. I would recommend Clockwork Rose to anyone looking for a fun, but also high-quality afternoon tea experience.

   High tea was really fun. I was celebrating a special event alone. I decided to get dressed up for it. The place is cute and interesting. My server Paula, was so sweet, with lots of helpful information about the long list of tea choices. I especially loved the savories. I took a double take on the manikin in the submarine bathroom.    We attended the Mother’s Day tea. The food was outstanding. Much higher quality than other Portland metro tea houses and a fantastic balance of sweet and savory. They also had delicious gluten free and vegan options. The environment is top-notch and the staff offered insights to much of the interesting decor. Unfortunately, like so many places, post pandemic, there was, perhaps, not enough staff on hand to provide as much service as we would have liked. But we highly recommend and will visit again.

   So many tea choices! Plus the food selection was freshly baked, exquisitely presented and the wait staff was very good at explaining what everything was. Loved every last crumb and it was a delightful experience! A wonderful place to go to celebrate a special occasion. We had a spread of four generations in our group and we all loved it!

    We had a wonderful Mother’s Day tea with my daughter and two granddaughters. One was gf so it was wonderful for her to be able to enjoy the food. Favorites were the sausage roll, the cucumber sandwich, the chocolate mousse cup, and the soup. The white peach tea, London Fog tea, and raspberry tea were also really enjoyed. The decor is very eclectic and fun!

    This was my second time taking a group of friends for High Tea. It was wonderful, even the special gluten-free items were excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful, a great place for a group of friends to sit and catch up on life. Great food, great service and the ambience was pleasant. Thank you! I am sure we'll be back.

    I love this place! It is so interesting visually that I notice something new with every visit. The zeppelin hanging from the ceiling, the Alice in Wonderland themed items you see here and there, and truthfully it is almost worth a trip for the bathroom alone! The food is delicious, and although it doesn't change a lot other than the soups and salads it is really good. The teas are delicious, although I do with they could hand out a small menu with just a sentence or two about each. When the owner was there, he would give a lot of info to help make a decision, but now you only have the category and name of the blend to go on so you have to ask a fair amount of questions. Tea stays hot with their warmers! The amount of time allowed is plenty to slow down and savor. Recommended!

    Amazing food and such nice servers. I didn’t like the first tea I ordered and they replaced it immediately without any issue or concern. This is my new favorite tea house in the Portland area. Truly scrumptious food. Made an otherwise blah rainy Sunday into a really enjoyable and memorable day. Already made my next reservation! :) Thank you Clockwork Rose!

    I want to let you know how thankful to the staff. I took my niece there who has a disability. The staff was so kind. Especially the young gentleman who help us to but a flowed hair topper. The food was great. The window seat was perfect and she loved it. Staff made a great experience for her.

    Amazing food. My mother in law who is gluten free and vegan loved the items she was severed. The potato soup was a little salty but other then that the food was amazing and the Portland rain tea is hands down one of the best teas I have had.

    Always a great experience when we attend a clockwork tea event. Been there a few times with my wife and always blown away by how much effort they put into every scenario from visual, taste & quality, to service and if your worried due to a food allergy. Put that worry aside and just make sure you add on your restriction. As a person with lactose intolerance- I had first expected the ‘dairy free menu’ as a lame and boring mix from the delicious treats. Needless to say, we make sure to go back every other month. Every weekend would be ideal, but maybe we will switch it up to monthly. Haha Oh, definitely try the cocktail selection/options. 100% worth it. *Lastly, don’t forget cash to tip your hardworking server

    A visit to Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium never fails to delight. We went yesterday to celebrate two friends birthdays at the Mad Hatter tea. Everything from the beautiful tea pots and cups, to the delicious food and excellent service was spot on. Can't wait for my next visit.
