The staff and the Ambien Ambiance was absolutely wonderful! Will definitely do this again

The food is amazing and the owners make delicious accommodations for dietary restrictions. Love the decor and the location, although on-street parking can be challenging.

I have been to a lot of tea houses and several things make this one special including the tea sommelier.

I love this place so much. They make delicious vegan options, upon request.

Brought my brother for high tea and truly enjoyed every moment. They were so accommodating to us when I forgot to let them know that he was a vegetarian. The service was great, very attentive, and very entertaining! The variety of teas and knowledge of the tea master was great. I’d highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great experience!

I loved everything about this place, from the cute gift shop when you walk in, to the decor on the walls. Every person that came to our table was so happy and well informed on the menu. 11/10 I will be back!

Clockwork Rose is a charming tea room with a steampunk theme. The tea menu is extensive and the staff quite knowledgeable. The food was delicious and plentiful. All in all a delightful place that I will definitely return to.

I Love Maggie and Harold and their entire staff., tgey are very kind and friendly. Much fun was had by my two granddaughters and myself.

The food was so good, the employees and owners were very attentive and they explained what kind of food we were having. They explained the teas. Love love this tea room!!

Appreciated the descriptions of the teas and the large selection. The food was very, especially the soup. It was my third visit and I found each visit better than the last.

If you love afternoon tea, steampunk, or Victoriana, you have got to book a seating at Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium. This is not a stuffy, "pinkies out" tea salon but it is the real deal. The owners and staff are warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable—a delight for the tea nerds among us. Next time I have the pleasure of taking tea there I will be wearing my authentic Edwardian lawn gown with my lace-up brogues and chat with Alistair (the tea sommelier) and Angel (the clotted cream creator) about all things related to English proper tea and Victorian sci-fi.

The decor and shopping area set your expectations for a wonderful tea. You can buy the teas you try as well as lots of other goodies. The food was very good with both sweet and savory on your three tier server. The menu changes monthly. Be prepared to hear about all the teas from a great tea 'mum' he describes them as wine is described. Have fun

Wow I almost don't want to write a review because I don't want anyone else to know about it. I am an immediate fan of this place. The shop in front has awesome stuff. The food is outstanding as are the teas and the service. I can't say enough about how awesome this place is. Bring your appetite because the food is so good you will keep eating and it might look small, but was I full for the rest of the day.

Best tea house my wife and I have been to by far. The staff is friendly, the food is outstanding, and the tea is wonderful! If you have not been to Clockwork Rose, I encourage you to make a reservation and go; trust me, they won’t disappoint.

We had a great time. The food, tea and shop are perfect. The young man the “tea” expert was just weird.

My friend and I had a wonderful time! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about tea and was able to answer all of our questions. The tea and food were wonderful and the ambiance is impeccable. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back when they have cocktail hour!

Everything is superlative at this place. Even our tea host Alastair was magnifique! The clotted cream is a sign and a wonder. The food is delicious. The China is glorious. The Harney’s tea is fantastic!!

Yet another amazing tea... you know it’s amazing when you can just sit back and relax and enjoy your company! Maggie is always such a beautiful presence. We really miss having her husband, but we really hope his allergies improve—you can completely tell that they pour their hearts into Clockwork and when he cannot there it’s like part of the heart is missing. (But I’d far rather he be alive!!!) I will help to reinforce the FRAGRANCE FREE ZONE message. ❤️

Best tea house we have been to hands down. The staff if friendly, the tea is very good, and the food is excellent. We will be returning.

Excellent experience! We had a wonderful time catching up and enjoying the tea and food at a leisurely pace. By the time I got to half of the second tier, I was thinking I'm going to have to box the rest of this and enjoy them another day. I could not eat another bite. We were served with a wonderful soup before our trays were brought out. The tea list is so big, I want to come back to try out more.

The decorations throughout the restaurant are fun and detailed. The bathroom was amazing! I highly recommend Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium!

This place is a gem!! Worth the wait for our reservation. I highly recommend you book the next open window to have the full fun experience. They are quite serious about being able to accommodate every diet. I’m gluten intolerant and my friend has a tree nut allergy and they had delicious and thoughtfully prepared foods for both of us. You will love it!

We always have a splendid time at CR Tea. This was my birthday and it was extra special having tea with my childhood friend.

Maggie and the staff, were as sweet as ever and brought out a nice chocolate birthday confection with a candle for my celebration.

Excellent food, excellent tea. They don't just lean on the novelty of the high tea experience; they actually know what they're doing.

THE Best tea room!
We have tried several other establishments claiming to offer high tea and were mostly underwhelmed.
At CRTE....a simple amazing experience from the carefully curated, exclusive tea blends to the excellent foods and fine service. Not pretentious, just a fine dining experience.
We are making plans for a return visit.
