$20 a cocktail….. fun but really idk that it’s worth $20 a cocktail before tip
Cute place for a drink but skip the food. Service was slow but friendly but the food was meh
Everything wonderful considering COVID/DELTA dining. Live in the city and took a chance taking my CT relatives there for lunch on September 16th!
The staff working that day A+++ in service and friendliness! Definitely will return!
Nice atmosphere, great service. The food was slightly less quality than I expected for this price range. The ceaser salad was room temperature, slightly warm. The steak was delicious, but the potatoes were not cooked all the way.
Food was way overpriced and both meals had to be sent back, as they were not cooked properly. I realize this is a high end establishment, but it certainly wasn't worth it.
It was my girlfriends last day before she went back to work. I wanted to make the night special and the staff at the Liberty gave me that. The food + mostly the service made it amaIzing
The food was so good, and the ambiance is so cool! We will definitely be coming back!
Delightful restaurant in a converted jail - very imaginative decor. We stated with the Tomato & Mozzarella salad with "Balsamic caviar" - dressing formed to look like caviar. Imaginative and delicious. We then had the Tarragon Chicken and Salmon - both were exquisite. We finished with an assortment of homemade ice creams and macarons. Service was great, We'll be going back soon.
I went for the Funfetti cake desert which was bomb and I’m definitely going back for the sweet chili chicken because those were OMG…
We go to the Lobby bar at the Liberty fairly often - we live nearby. We have had the Chef's Platter twice before and loved it. We went there last night for my birthday - which I indicated when I made reservations. We ordered the platter - but it has changed. It is now served on a small platter with everything on top of everything else - not very appealing. In the past the platter (not the contents, the dish) was larger so the items were visible and accessible individually. The distribution of meat to cheese was better before - too much cheese now. The service was slow - clearly understaffed. Our waitress was harried and not very friendly. Very different from previous occasions. No mention was made of my birthday. Overall fairly disappointing.
Really good service and very nice ambiance. Noise level was low so table conversation was easy. Food was terrific!
Just wanted to add that it would have been helpful to make it clear that Sundays was not included in the Boston Dine out period.
Great service, waiter Carlos was very nice, and patient - we took forever to order. Food was good, the warm rolls were amazing, and the hotel is super cool.
Great breakfast options at the Liberty Hotel. Especially liked the yogurt partfait
Great atmosphere, Excellent service delicious food, nice variety.
SERVICE was extremely attentive, efficient and polite.
FOOD" The SLIDERS were a bit ho-hum; they put on the barest amount of cheese. But the MUSSELS were full of broth, and the extra bread, when requested, was perfect for soaking it up. The BANANA SPLIT was massive, and the banana halves were caramelized; yum!
Carlos was amazing, attentive and so excited to share all his knowledge of the bldg with us. We were so inquisitive and he was so resourceful and amazing as well. Food was excellent. Wine selection was great and I so appreciated the birthday dessert. I can’t wait to visit again!
The Liberty Bar was great too but Carlos truly made the experience at Clink an exceptional one. He was so gracious, kind and we were pleased with the service.
It was a date with myself , wanted some self-care. From the moment I walked in and to the time I left it was a great experience. My waiter was Ben and he met all my needs , he made sure everything I requested was brought out to me. He checked to make sure I was alright the whole time. I will come back again ! Food was amazing
The wait staff and bartenders were great and very professional, but the food was very bland and overpriced. There’s a $51 steak on the menu that’s under seasoned and overpriced by $30. Again, nice people; food a huge disappointment.
Excellent food and service.
service went above and beyond to make our night special. cannot wait to return, new favorite spot for great drinks, food, and an overall outstanding night
Bar service was definitely awful for the second time now. Never even got my drink before dinner so I canceled it.
Slow service at dinner . Order the steak wasn’t flavorful. Took forever to get the food overpriced won’t be back
Such a hidden gem. Almost walked right by it. The entrance made me a but uneasy because I’m not used to these basement places they have in Boston. Very small and quaint and once we settled in I felt quite relaxed. There’s only 10 tables or so and they don’t try to pack in too many people so we could talk and hear the light music with no issue. On Yelp it says it’s not kid friendly, but my 8 and 12 year old both loved it. Food was excellent. I wish I had room for more.
Food was average
The place is cool and could become one of the coolest if step up on food options, rock the ambience with lounge music and quick service responsiveness. Other than that, it's still a cool place to go!
Great experience, cool vibe, great waitstaff and great food.
We will go back
Don’t go for the food, way over priced for something that barely has flavor; just go for drinks
Went for breakfast great time spectacular service
CLINK is a fabulous restaurant- great food, bar and ambience- and our family has enjoyed dining here several times over the past few years. We dined on July 4 eve, and the wait staff/bar was severely understaffed. Although the food was very good when it arrived, our poor waiter could not give the service we had previously experienced here. Drinks took over an hour to be delivered. For the expense, it was quite a disappointment. Hoping this lapse is related to the recovery, and that CLINK will return to being one of the premier restaurant experiences in Boston.
Absolutely a unique experience.
The food/drinks were overpriced in my opinion but I enjoyed my time at this establishment
Great place for happy hour!
Was nice decor, staff and drinks in the bar downstairs was fun
I so wanted this to be wonderful but, it wasn’t. Being served coffee without spoons and a $10 “basket” of one muffin and one croissant without plates (or jam) seems not to justify the price not a “high end” dining experience. The server was pleasant and clearly tried but the food was not special. The giant muffins in the salmon Benedict were not toasted and took away from the great Hollandaise sauce. The “side” of potatoes were pedestrian at best.
The old jailhouse setting is way cool.
Special experience to dine in the past prison
Nice atmosphere, unique, beautiful hotel. Parking across the street.
Great night life ambience, beautiful location and good menu selection
While the drinks and dinner in the bar area are great, the breakfast at Clink is so-so. I ordered the ceasar salad with grilled chicken and it was essentially two small heads of romaine on a plate with a grilled chicken breast on top and drizzled with dressing- almost a do -it - yourself caesar salad. it was super weird.
Very overpriced but worth it for a great date. Not a first date but fantastic drinks
The food and service were both exceptional
