The food was delicious - we enjoyed the shrimp and lobster rolls. The view was amazing - it was a beautiful day and we sat outside overlooking the Sound, enjoying the breeze.

Wife and I went here for the first time, last Sunday night at 7:15. Bar and inside seating was nearly empty. We sat outside, also empty, with beautiful view of LI Sound. I ordered a Long Ireland Celtic Ale, which was flat and lifeless. Exchanged it for a Bud Lite which at least had the requisite amount of carbonation although it wasn't as flavorful as the Celtic. We ordered mussels for appetizer. They were gigantic, which somehow diminishes their appeal. We prefer smallish to mid-sized mussels. Never seen mussels that large. The garlic sauce was OK, but not even as good as Carrabba's at half the price. I also ordered some clams on the half shell and they were great all by themselves with a little lemon juice. The cocktail sauce was "pasty" and after the first taste, I avoided it. The only bread we received was the two little pieces of toasted Italian bread that came with the mussels. My wife enjoyed her salmon. No issues. I ordered a medium rare filet mignon, which was definitely a lot more medium than rare (no pink to be found). The outside was charred beyond my liking. (One of the reasons I usually order medium rare). The smashed potatoes that came with the filet were very good although I skipped the other veggies that didn't look too appealing. The desert portions were microscopic. The waitress was young, and courteous, but she wasn't around very much. She went inside a lot. Maybe a staffing issue, not her fault. She might have had to cover inside and outside. Although, at these prices, one would have expected a waitress devoted to the outside dining area. Either the chef, or more likely a kitchen helper, brought the entrees to the table, then disappeared. The waitress was not around for the next 5 minutes or so. So, rather than send back the overcooked filet, I ate it rather than wait for the waitress to come outside again. All-in-all, I wasn't impressed with anything except the beautiful view from the outdoor dining area. Definitely not worth the price.

The Food was good but the bread was cold. The waitress was horrible and belonged in a diner. I expected more from a place like this!

Greatlunch. I had the salad wedge with blue cheese dressing, bacon, nuts. My husband had burger and wonderful fries. We had to do take home as it was filling. We shall be back, perhaps dinner nexttime.

They're fairly new HERE, so I'll give them a pass. Next time I won't be so gracious. Melon wrapped in prosciutto wasn't good (nor was the sauce covering it... REALLY??? SAUCE???), and both the food and drinks took FOREVER to come out. On the plus side, my chicken sandwich wasn't too bad... it was actually pretty tasty... but was soggy on the bottom (really silly) and my wife's food was ok. Trying to remember what she got, but she didn't complain about it, so it was passable... but the time it took for our waitress to bring them was just ridiculous. They weren't busy at all... it was LUNCH.

We'll try them again because the view is great and they're just getting it together, but there won't be much rope next time.

The food was acceptable. The carpeting was filthy. Very disappointed that there was no Italian food.
Did not like the huge sign saying Wipe your shoes by the entrance.

Not the cleanest as far as tables and utensils. Minimal wine list and out of most on the list. Not what should be expected, especially at a country club venue. Will not return.
