Cliff Dining Pub

The food was awesome, the server was excellent, but the food took forever to come out. We waited almost an hour for 4 brunches. I do love this place overall though.

Meh it was just ok nothing special but the view.

The food was so good and our waitress was so cute and friendly. It was so busy that it made the service a little slow, but that's understandable. The only complaint I have about this place was the noise level. It was so hard to have a conversation because it was so loud. A live band was playing in the bar, overhead music was also playing and because of that I think everyone in there if they were trying to talk, had to talk louder to be able to hear each other. That's the only thing bad I have to say about this place.

Some of the best best food I've had in a while here in Utah.

We moved to Sandy 6 months ago and the Cliff immediately became our favorite restaurant. On Jan. 24 we had an unfortunately bad experience...way unusual for the Cliff. When we arrived we were seated immediately, but no one came to serve us for ages. Seriously we waited for 20 minutes before I asked someone for a server. She said she would notify our server. After 10 more minutes of being ignored, I went to the bar to order drinks and another server, Hannah, asked if she could help. I told her our plight and she said our server was new and very frazzled and that she would take care of us. After that, Hannah was polite, friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, even though my wife and I both ordered the Miso Halibut (our favorite), we got very opposite results. My wife's fish filet was large, succulent and well prepared, per usual. Mine was small, overcooked and tough. She felt so sorry for me she gave me some of hers. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come because we love the Cliff.

Food is kind of heavy. I had the basil pancakes but it was huge. And filled. Not like a pancake I’ve ever had before.

Great place, hard to talk to my date due to the level of sound from band at times. Love the music though.

My favorite local restaurant. I will always suggest this to friends and family.
However it is busy and popular so make reservations. (Don't tell everyone! keep it local, keep it private :-))

The service was outstanding!!! It was an unforgettable date night for my husband and I.

It was OK. I think better a few years ago. The fish and chips should be called 'fish and fries'.

We like to reserve a booth because it can get a little loud, but it’s understandable. Whenever we request a booth, it’s never a problem. That’s always so nice!! The food is always great and trying a new drink every time is fun. Even on New Year’s Eve, we were treated well and didn’t have to wait forever. It was another great experience!

The Filet was amazing! Perfectly cooked (medium well isnt easy!) And so tasty. The sauce was soooooo good! One of the best filet mignon dishes I have ever had!

Great food, nice atmosphere. Perfect Margarita was the only con - not that great. Wine was the better choice. Flatbreads, burger and fries excellent.

The food is always excellent every time we go to the Cliff Dining Pub. It never disappoints!

Delicious! Great views, polite staff, temperature was a bit chilly.

Parking was crowded as usual. We were seated promptly upon arrival for our reservation. Our order was taken and the staff was attentive at first. We did not receive any bread when all other tables around us were served a basket. Not sure why. I ordered the pulled pork. It was delicious. But it was served on a wooden plank that was too thin to contain the meal as I ate. I made quite a mess with the cornbread that crumbled with every attempt to eat.

We enjoyed a Holiday dinner here last week. The place is loud in the Pub area, but enjoyable.

We love the ambiance of the Cliff, but unfortunately every time we’ve come somehow appetizers come in a timely manner, but someones main entree is always forgotten. The excuse is that “sorry the kitchen is behind.” The interesting thing two nights ago it was not very busy, there were no people waiting to be seated. We brought our parents from out of town. On a side note we loved the fries.

I took my team for Saturday Brunch and it was amazing. The service and food were top notch. The views and overall ambience of the restaurant was also great. I highly recommend for a Brunch Option.

Side Note: We went in December and they had Breakfast with Santa going. So my team and I got to have Santa visit our table and we got pictures with Santa. There were many families there with little kids and it made for a really enjoyable and added surprise.

The food was outstanding and the service was great. The hostess who helped us with our reservation was so kind and considerate and helped us a ton. The waiter was great and even though he was busy he made us feel very important. It was pretty noisy because The live music and restaurant music mixed together, but that might have just been where we were sitting. Overall amazing experience and will definitely go back.

The restaurant is divided into two sections. Entering to the right is the pub (bar) area. In this area, where the kids outnumber the adults 7 to 2 it’s nice to go to area where the “little urchins “ aren’t. The tables are in an open area so it’s a bit noisy but all in all it’s a great place. Oh the adult area is open seating so it’s best to get there early. The view of valley is quite spectacular.
The cost $100.00 + for two takes this out of the everyday dining but an overall good value.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool, but it was really loud and our waitress checked on us maybe 3 times during our 2.5 hours stay. Once to take our order then 2 hours in she checked on the food, and then to give us our dessert/check. We were constantly out of drink and we had requests that we had to wait a while for. The food seemed very over priced as well.

This a great place. We ate on the bar side of the restaurant and loved it. The view is gorgeous. The live music was really good. Food and service were top notch, drinks were excellent. Loved it. Can’t wait to go back.

Celebrated my birthday here with a couple of friends, and it was a fun brunch!

Great food, good service, atmosphere is pleasant. The noise level leaves something to be desired. Still we would go back again.

Fantastic, consistent and accommodating as always. Really enjoy the vibe and view is the best in the valley. Great live music on the bar side later in the evening. Always a great night out!

We had an amazing meal which included apps and drinks. Our server Coby was top notch! He even took pics of us outside looking at the view. (We are first timers to Utah). The live music was impressive! I didn’t want to leave. We had the absolute best evening! I highly recommend for any occasion!

The Cliff Dining Pub was an awesome find. The atmosphere is casually elegant, as well as fun. The food is as good as superb restaurants in Park City and the service is very good as well.

Went for Sunday 10 morning breakfast. We Asked to turn down music as we are hard of hearing...and wahla it happened. Great service. Very attentive. Will be returning.

Food is always good. But there were lobster shells in my Mac and cheese. The party was terrible and had to park down the hill at Walgreens. Are reservation was 7:15 and we didn’t get a table until 7:45.

Wonderful meal and great service! A couple years ago we had several experiences here that were so bad we stopped going. We tentatively went back last year and were impressed with the improvements in service and quality. We slowly started going more often. Today we had a table of 8, and The Cliff came through on all fronts, very good!

This place is outstanding. The food is incredible and I love the live music on the weekend on the pub side.

We love eating here. The menu is eclectic and the food is great.
