Clerys is known as one of Back Bay’s favorite hidden gems. As a bistro, bar, restaurant and function facility, it is one of the most lively venues in the South End. Featuring a brunch menu on the weekends including a Bloody Mary Bar and menu items unique to the Boston flavor.

Located on Back Bay’s Dartmouth Street, walking distance from Hynes Convention Center and Newbury Street, Clerys draws you in with large inviting windows and modern speakeasy allure. Named after the Clerys clock and department store on O’Connell Street in Dublin, Clerys interior and menu options have that feeling of old school Irish charm.

We sat at a high top near the bar. The bartender was working so hard and yet he still was attentive and his service was impeccable. Drinks were awesome the white Sangria was so delicious for a warmer than normal fall day. My daughters had salmon bowls they said they were awesome. I had the chicken dinner and my only critique would be that it was cold (mashed were cold) when it came out. The chicken was warm I am guessing it was timing thing and it was still delicious. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants good food and a fun atmosphere.

Too few servers. They require one waitress to be responsible for all indoor seating. It is not fair to the staff and the customers.

Food, drinks and service were great. Caesar salad with salmon was really enjoyable and the salmon was cooked exactly to my liking. Street is a little noisy/busy

Was looking for Brownstone (Next to this Clergy) for brunch and this restaurant serves their brunch menu. I set up a detailed reservation for one of my high profile guest birthday brunch and this place went above and beyond what I expected. Left Birthday balloons at the table with chilled glass Mimosas with cute a gold ribbon on them. Kind of spacing on the lady's name who served us that day but she was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this place for brunch. Good food and great prices!
