LOVED THIS. Classy but casual atmosphere with fun staff and delicious food!
We were put in a freezing cold bar and our server was super sweet just too busy to give us the full attention. Food is great but was super late on one dish they had to fire it up a second time. Wasnt the best experience. also was charged 2 dollars more for a vodka rocks ...apparently the ice cost 2 bucks.
Skewers took way to long to come out
Just not great
Big fan of Cleo’s small plates. Full of flavor and memorable.
The service was horrible! We waited an hour for our food and the meals were too small.
Warning-Please don’t order the “Moroccan” fried chicken, it has a weird taste! I was told the chicken was white meat, but it wasn’t?! It was dark brown and soaked in grease. 🧐 The Brussels sprouts were tasty, but also very greasy! The food is pricey with small portions. The service was good though. I don’t recommend it!
Excellent experience. Love the carrots!
Loved the old location and food in the previous location in Hollywood. This location is fine but not at all what I expected. I also feel like the food tastes different. I was so disappointed. I have always looked forward to Cleo but no more!
Food was good however it was quite pricey for the serving sizes. Wine selection limited and quite pricey.
Overpriced mediocre food was somewhat mitigated by excellent service. Octopus was overcooked, baklava was obviously frozen and none of the other dishes were memorable.
Horrible service. Waiter did not show up for 20 minutes. We were celebrating a birthday and ordered a dessert when the birthday girl was in the restroom. When the waiter returned to take some plates, he completely spoiled the surprise. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
Unfortunately we waited 45 minutes after our reservation and had terrible service. I would have appreciated them calling to tell me our reservation would be later. The manager was really nice and comped a few things on our bill. But overall, the service, the food, the wait, all of it was really disappointing. I used to really like this place but I wont be back.
The food was good. The service wasn’t as attentive as one would expect from such a highly touted restaurant. No one cleared the dirty dishes or empty wine bottles unless asked.
Wonderful exotic small plates & main dishes. Very pricey for foodies & large groups.
Service was only average to subpar, though the food was pretty good. I got sick off of the ceviche though, and my boyfriend was treated like a second class citizen. I used to love Cleo. Now I am not sure I will return to any Cleo, even if the Hollywood location dies ever re-open.
Food was cold and wrong and took 1 hour. They are understaffed and overpriced.
We’ve been eating at Cleo at a different venue for a few years and always enjoy the delicious food. We recently ate at the 3rd Street venue in West Hollywood on Christmas evening. Our server was great, friendly and efficient. The drinks arrived and we then ordered our plates of food to share. One order was kebabs which come in threes. All of the other food cane out and was consumed. We added the fried chicken which came out almost immediately. Still no kebabs. We kept asking about them and were told different stories about their whereabouts! We finished the fried chicken and still no kebabs. We finally were offered the desert menu which we ordered. Still no kebabs. They finally arrived and they were complimentary of course. They also comped our desert and coffees as they should have. We took the kebabs to go. We all had a good laugh over the mysterious kebabs, but our poor waiter was clearly frustrated with the kitchen that night. Maybe the kitchen crew were not the regular people due to the holiday. .Regardless, not my problem. Food was good, kitchen crew, bad. Sorry about that. But the manager did take a lot off our check. Thanks for that.
Food is good but very very overpirced. It is a tapas restaurant, so I understand that portions are small but they charge each tapas as if it is a full meal entere! The peopel are very nice, service is good but for the money there are much better places
Food was ok. Long waits for bread. Service was spotty. 5/10 overall.
CLEO IS AMAZING! GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD AND A GREAT ATMOSPHERE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANY OCCASION.
Avid customer of Cleo when it was at the redburry. Menu that makes you salivate, I have hard time to decide what to eat as everything looks so good. Full of flavor, great choices, friendly service, chill atmosphere. Failed to disappoint.
Food and drinks were delicious. The lamb shawarma and eggplant moussaka are a must.
Great food, served relatively quick and polite service!
Just meh all around. I used to really like Cleo. My first time at this location
Food as usual amazing! Service she the waitress no personality and rude. Manager came over and we explained. I eat there on average 2 a month so it’s not going to stop me.
We missed the one in Hollywood that has been closed due to the Hotel Renovation. So we decided to try the Beverly location and The Food is consistent. It is definitely a smaller menu compare to Cleo at the Redbury Hotel.
Do not love the ambience nor location. Can’t wait to Cleo in Hollywood reopen.
Cleo gets it right every time! Incredible food, wonderful service and a peaceful atmosphere. I have been eating at Cleo since the week they opened in Hollywood and I have remained a fan now that they are in West Hollywood. This is a restaurant that has remained consistent on all fronts no matter how much time has passed, which is impressive!
Hotel food not at its best great the tv had sports games for my male companion to watch I didn’t mind he didn’t like the food so I lost within the first plate of oily brussle sprouts
parking was free on street
Absolutely amazing from A-to-Z
Always great. My favorite items are the beet salad and the brussel sprouts. You need to try the humus and the chicken, beef and shrimp kabobs/skewers are very tasty. Great seasoning on all foot. Very flavorful and always fresh. Simply enjoy.
Had a great birthday dinner there. The food is fantastic. The servers are also amazing.
Nothing like the main location in la! But it was still okay for drinks. The food was not good at all
My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate our anniversary.. this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The food tasted to fresh and everything he had was packed with flavor! We felt super good about everything we had and the price we paid except for the lamb shawarma, it was $18 for two small tacos. But other than that it was an amazing experience! We went at 5:45 and the place was dead.. it was awesome getting to have the restaurant to ourselves basically! They even brought us a complimentary dessert of our choice for our anniversary!
I always enjoy myself here .. i went again with my girls for my bday .. we ate we drank we were merry
Food was good, but service really sucked. I expected a lot more. It took the waiter 30 minutes to get our orders, 45 minutes to bring our drinks. That’s asking them over and over for it.
They have a selection of beautiful and very attentive staff
The Hollywood location is superior.
Our food came out cold two times. Slow service. Hostess had attitude and couldn’t seat us despite the place being empty on a Friday night. I would doubt it’ll be around for much longer — bad for the staff, good for your wallet
horrible service, they questioned my tip % in front of my guests, completely unprofessional and embarrassing. just because i did not tip 20%, absolutely ridiculous, will never go to this location again.
