Amazing experience and superb service!
great! we messed up the reservation time and they were able to accommodate us anyway although we were late. very friendly and accommodating. food was EXCELLENT , service was excellent
We enjoyed Cleo in Las Vegas so, of course, we were anxious to return upon visiting the Bahamas. It was lovely. Beautiful décor, great service. However, the plates (small plates) seemed extra small this time. Quite expensive and left feeling a bit hungry. Hummus and octopus are outstanding!
Service was great. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. The food was well prepared and offered a variety of dishes.
Wonderful food! We had the Moussaka dish, which was excellent along with the shrimp and steak kabob and a side of green beans. All was so delicious! Super nice waitress! A must try! Enjoy💖
The restaurant was pretty expensive but I must say the food was delicious. The service was a bit a slow but still great overall. Anwar was awesome.
Attended for our anniversary - noted that it was our anniversary at the tine of reservation. Nothing was mentioned- not looking for something free but given the venue had knowledge it was anniversary - acknowledgement would have been nice.
Best food/service we had at Baha Mar! First of all, our waiter Brett was AMAZING. He was very friendly, polite, and humorous. His recommendations and suggestions for ordering based on our party size were fantastic!!! We began the meal with an appetizer (crispy artichoke hummus- to DIE FOR!), then order 3 small plates to share for the table. Afterwards, we assessed how we were feeling and decided on ordering another small plate and filet kabob. I personally loved this style of eating. We were able to try a lot of different items and get just the right “taste” for each one. The Brussel sprouts were divine! I usually do not enjoy Brussel sprouts but the way these were prepared and seasoned... WOW. The lamb sliders were also wonderful. My father who is a very picky eater loved everything he tried here so much, he has still been talking about Cleo’s days after our trip now! Overall, amazing service, crazy good food, and absolutely beautiful decor. Will recommend Cleo to EVERYONE!
The music noise was so overwhelming that a conversation with my dinner partner was impossible even after mentioning to the waiter the noise level. Also, the type of music would not appeal to a wide range of diners and was not conducive to a relaxing atmosphere.
excellent food and service was impeccable. wait staff extremely helpful with recommendations
Great food, small plates meant to be shared. However, I would recommend discussing timing and sequence of dishes/courses with wait staff. I am not sure if this was a service issue vs a kitchen issue. We never received an appetizer type plate and when questioned were told it would be arriving soon (after entrée), two vegetable choices were missed and one was brought well after the entrée and just before dessert. We ended up cancelling a "dessert" appetizer and vegetable. They were gracious and immediately took the items off the check.
We are from Chicago and consider ourselves foodies. The food here was amazing, AND the ambiance in there is awesome. Highly recommend this place if you are in BAHA MAR!!!
Awful service, served us our dinner when we just received our appetizer. Felt rushed. Cold food. Not worth the price.
Delicious Mediterranean small plates! Beautiful restaurant & great service! One of our favorite dinners at Ba ha Mar!
Everything was amazing. We’re coming back tonight!
Dined Sunday. Night 8 pm. Our server was excellent. Friendly, knew the menu, paced the dishes to the table.
We did lots of small plates. Greek salad, lamb schwarma not to be missed. Brussel sprouts crispy and flavorful. Saganaki cheese dish was very tasty . Apricot and pesto was a nice combo atop the cheese. Tina tartare fresh but nothing special. Filet skewer was also ok. Nothing special.
Desert— hot chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream and bananas very tasty Overall great dining experience, lovely room. The two tips are nothing cushy or fancy but we walked out with the thought we would definitely return.
I recommend the spicy cigars and the artichoke hummus. The service was a bit slow but staff very accommodating and friendly. Great atmosphere
Was the best meal I had in the three nights that I was there, excellent!!!
Mother’s Day Brunch. Food was good.
Our server was amazing. Marsha was helpful, kind and made sure we had the full Cleo experience. I will definitely be back
Wonderful food! Loved everything about the restaurant. Our server Barry was the best!
I absolutely loved the food and ambiance of Cleo /Bahamas!!! The staff and evening Manager, Barry Sawyer added to the expierence with their attentive professionalism. I certainly plan to dine here again and would recommend this sexy upscale venue to anyone looking for a sophisticated dining experience!
Amazing service and meal!!! We celebrated the night before our 10 year anniversary here and could not have been happier !
A pleasant surprise and our favorite restaurant at Baha Mar so far. After a hangry 45 minute wait because they were running behind (8:30 reservations but got seated closer to 9:15) we got seated at a high top table meant for 6. We didn't mind since we love sitting at bar and wish Cleo had a walk up bar section to the restaurant similar to Fi'lia. The friendly service and delicious food made up for the long wait.
Spicy cigars - these were phenomenal and our fave item we ordered. Crunchy outer laye of thin filo Filled with a tasty spicy minced meat and dipped in creamy cooling yogurt sauce
Octopus - tender, juicy in olive oil. Good but not a standout
Lamb shawarma- mildly spiced succulent lamb pieces in a soft shell. I loved these but my husband not too crazy about it
Shakshouka meatballs tangible with soft poached egg - sounded better on the menu than in execution. They essentially tasted like spaghetti meatballs with a slightly different spice. Didn't love it and wish I had gotten lamb or chicken tahini instead
Saffron basmati rice - ordered this last minute to go with tangine. I love basmati rice so I thought this was delicious. Mini half bowl portion a bit ridiculous though.
Fries sumac - I am a serious lover of fries and these were disappointing, tiny and skinny stubs in a slice that I could not taste at all. Also came in a half cup size. I saw these two girls with a giant basket of fries with aoili. Maybe those were the truffle fries? In any case they looked way better than the sumac ones!
We wanted to t
Delightful service. Not stiff and robotic but a young server who was friendly and genuinely liked what he was doing. He was able to tell us what his favourite dishes are and gave us a rundown on each dish we ordered. The branzino even with a few small bones and lamb tangine were delicious. The fillet main dish was tender. The mushroom pizza, however, was disappointing. It was not crispy but soggy. The flourless chocolate cake was sinful. Will be back.
Loved entire experience!
service was great but schwarma is just not our thing I guess.
Great ambience different and good food. Loved it
Good service, bad dry food!
This was one of our favorites at Baha Mar! We had breakfast here twice and dinner once. The small plates were fantastic and the waiter made great suggestions on sharing making it fun to try lots of different things! The flavors were just outstanding!
One of the best meals our party has ever had. The service was great the food excellent. A great experience from start to finish
The Lamb tagine was out of this world!!!
The table size is small and if you order 3 items they bring them is succession and there is no place on the table for wine, water and the tree food items we had ordered. They need to train their waiters to properly explain the dining process. Also, need to train their waiters to etiquette for fine dining.
It took us 45 minutes to get seated - after the hostesses told us that they didn’t take reservations or maintain a waitlist but both of these statements were false. We were then seated outside despite the fact that no one else was on this patio due to high winds. When we eventually were reseated, we noticed that only half of the restaurant was full, and numerous 4 tops were empty. Additionally, two different servers came by to introduce themselves as our server. Once we finally had an official server, things picked up for the better but we were highly annoyed during the first half of our meal. Order the Moroccan lamb tagine and the haloumi.
Everything was great except the price. We thought it was a bit expensive for what you get.
The food was very slow to arrive. The two lamb sides we had were yummy. The kebabs were ridiculously small. The ambiance is beautiful.
great service by Amiko and nice touch with anniversary solo from waitress
There was nothing about this experience that wasn’t amazing! From the hostess to the waiter to the food everything just kept getting better! Henry, our waiter, walked us through the menu and assisted us with some of his favorites. Spicy cigars were delicious and Rack if Lamb was mouth watering! Finished with the flourless chocolate cake and it was the perfect end to the meal. Highly recommend!!
