Serving was excellent. Food was excellent. I had the duck and strawberry swirl for dessert. Would definitely recommend it

Claywood has never disappointed and the food is five star. Absolutely it is also a work of art and presentation on your plate. There’s plenty of food to eat. If you’re expecting big plates of food, you may be disappointed. However, this is how Claywood stands on its own your meat, and your vegetables are the work of art on your plate and in my opinion, it’s enough food to enjoy. The appetizers are exquisite the chef Seems to have a mind that will take care of every pallet in this beautiful restaurant. It truly is an amazing! He will inspire and tempt the taste buds for duck fish steak as well !Your taste buds will wake up thinking you are in another country absolute perfection. We ordered the duck last night both my husband and I and to date this is the best duck I ever had in my life. They have plenty of whiskey you could order a flight. The appetizers are unique and exquisite as I said, the chef and the prep work princes and princesses get five stars as well with staff obviously having pride in what they create as well. It’s five star you need to go and experience this folks! Love from the O’Neill‘s Paul and Ryan.

Fantastic fresh innovative, my husband I cuddled on the leather couch to settle in for a feast. I wish we would’ve brought ten other people and treated it like a family style dinner- everything sounded so good but I got the bass with crispy skin no one gets right, but this chef did! Wonderful wine and spirit collection Staff knowledgeable and inspired

I can’t say enough about how special Claywood is to the Hendersonville community. Carly and her incredibly talented team consistently go above and beyond delivering an exceptional experience to diners and gatherers. The lavender cocktail was perfect and all the shared plates delicious. I asked for one of the cozy sofa seats and got what I requested. I’m guest was so impressed!

It was our second time there; we sat at the bar and had wine, a martini, and a charcuterie board perfect! the service, the food, the ambience was all that you would expect from a top-notch, fine dining establishment. And the blue cheese stuffed olives made the martini even more special. We are becoming regulars.

The weakest element of this restaurant is the value, but that is not a major knock on the place since the ambience, service, food, and location were all well above average. I believe the manager or owner was there walking around asking about how the food and service were. Overall I think this place competes successfully with restaurants like Postero, Brandy's, and Verri's.
